Identifikace pauz v rušeném řečovém signálu / Pause Identification in Degraded Speech Signal

Podloucká, Lenka January 2008 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with pause identification with degraded speech signal. The speech characteristics and the conception of speech signal processing are described here. The work aim was to create the reliable recognizing method to establish speech and non-speech segments of speech signal with and without degraded speech signal. The five empty pause detectors were realized in computing environment MATLAB. There was the energetic detector in time domain, two-step detector in spectral domain, one-step integral detector, two-step integral detector and differential detector in cepstrum. The spectral detector makes use of energetic characteristics of speech signal in first step and statistic analysis in second step. Cepstral detectors make use of integral or differential algorithms. The detectors robustness was tested for different types of speech degradation and different values of Signal to Noise Ratio. The test of influence different speech degradation was conducted to compare non-speech detection for detectors by ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) Curves.

Pokročilé modelování chování protokolu SNMP v simulačním prostředí OPNET Modeler / Advanced modelling of SNMP behaviour in OPNET Modeler simulation environment

Bezchleba, Josef January 2008 (has links)
The aim of my diploma is to introduce the SNMP protocol designed for remote device management to the readers and present its implementation into the Opnet Modeler simulation environment. For the implementation the DiffServMIB database has been chosen, which describes the components of differentiated services mechanism. My diploma thesis describes in detail the possibilities of application of the DiffServMIB database in traffic management. The design of a simulation model, which represents the differentiated data processing in input and output direction on a router interface, is also introduced. Next, this model is implemented into the Opnet Modeler simulation environment. The goal of this simulation model is the possibility of simple configuration of individual MIB attributes. In my work I also suggest an implementation method able to interconnect the MIB database with the configuration process of the active network element - with focus on output procedures of DiffServ mechanism.

Využití magnetických částic při izolaci DNA z vybraných probiotických výrobků pro děti / The application of magnetic particle for DNA isolation from selekted probiotic products for children

Vozárová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
In the food industry, it is important to correctly identify the species of bacteria and thier properties so that they can be used as a probiotic in dietary supplements. This is performed using DNA diagnostics. In the experimental part, the DNA from four probiotic dietary supplements for children was isolated. Magnetic particles P(HEMA-co-GMA) were tested for isolation. Isolated DNA was amplified by PCR and the presence of DNA of genus Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium and Bacillus was demonstrated in the products according to the data declared by the manufacturer. The presence of species L.acidophilus, B.animalis in accordance with the data on the product has been demonstrated by PCR with species specific primers. Using PCR, the presence of L.casei, which was declared by the manufacturer, has not been proven in one product at given experimental conditions.

Význam zpracovatelského průmyslu pro ekonomickou odolnost. / On the Role of the Manufacturing Industries in Economic Resilience.

Arbesleitner, Roland January 2017 (has links)
Economic resilience has recently enjoyed increased popularity in academic discourse, especially after the 2008 Global Crisis played havoc across the globe, but is as of now still in its infancy: A commonly agreed upon definition is yet to be found, and papers devoted to this concept are still rather scarce. It is commonly known that the manufacturing industries in European economies have generally been in decline for decades, and that they have primarily been replaced by the services sector. It has however been argued in the past that due to relatively high sunk costs, there is increased incentive for investors to keep manufacturing enterprises afloat during difficult times as long as possible, making them less likely to go out of business compared to others, thereby minimizing the initial blow of an economic shock to the respective economy and subsequently foster recovery. These assumptions are being examined in this paper by analysing data from the EU-28 starting at the outbreak of the 2008 crisis until 2015, followed by an investigation of individual economies in greater detail. The results show that more industrialised economies tend to have fared better during the crisis years and also managed to recover sooner.

Střetávání naděje a reality. Existenciální problémy rodičů při osamostatňování jejich potomků s mentálním postižením. / Hope and Reality Clashing Existential problems of parents in self-determination of their offsprings with intellectual disabilities

Kopřiva, Petr January 2018 (has links)
The thesis deals with the issue of the independence of people with intellectual disabilities from parents. The aim of the thesis is to map the way of adulthood of people with intellectual disabilities in the context of the life story from the point of view of their mothers, including perspectives and prospects for the future. The thesis tries to answer the question: Why do parents postpone the planning and realization of their children's independence to their late age? The central theme how parents deal with the consequences of their children's intellectual disabilities throughout their lives and the confrontation of hope and reality in the field of self-esteem, human relationships and partnerships of intelectuall disabled people. The research method is the analysis of life curves and interviews with the use of grounded theory. The work compares a group of mothers of persons with moderate intellectual disabilities and a group of mothers of persons with mild intellectual disabilities. The results show qualitative differences in the problems of both groups. In the case of mothers of persons with moderate intellectual disabilities, there is a dilemma about protected housing, in the case of the mothers of person with mild intellectual disabilities, there is a dilemma about the child's partnership. The...
