The aim of the diploma thesis is the analysis of driver responsibility during the loading and unloading of the goods at HOPI, the characteristics of the complaints grounds for the selected partner and the presentation of one type of complaints with a proposal to solve how to prevent further damage to the goods. The first part analyzes the responsibility of the carrier, where distinguishes several types of liability including the extent of liability for loss, damage or destruction of the consignment. The practical part describes the work and responsibility of the driver at HOPI. The reasons for Savencia's complaints are characterized, and the last part of the thesis concerns with one reason of complaint (damage of goods) and then proposes a solution.

This Master's thesis deals with the conditions and limitations in performing the services of international road transport carrier. Its aim is to summarize the most important international agreements, valid in this area, and also the most important restrictions imposed on the carrier, the transport vehicle and the drivers, who operate there. Using the example of a small carrier, it will be demonstrated their use in the transportation of cargo between Czech Republic and Russia. At the end, there will be identified the most fundamental problem areas and their possible solution.

This dissertation work focuses on renovation of carriage stock of PRP logistics s.r.o with the use of TOPSIS method. The work describes the main law regulations in truck transportation, law modification of its enterprising as well as theoretical basis of multicriteria analysis. It specifically deals with the description and analysis of company's carriage stock, a part of the work is also a detailed definition of particular steps taken within TOPSIS method, including calculations. This work consists of two parts -- theoretical and practical.

This Master Thesis is focused on road, railway, air, river and bicycle transport infrastructure of Czech Republic with detailed focus on the city of Roudnice nad Labem and its sorroundings. Except for basic information about the infrastructure of transport modes in Roudnice nad Labem is the objective of the Thesis analysis of road transport and traffic situation in the city. The work gives a detailed analysis of the main city roads including their strengths and weaknesses, followed by a summary and comprehensive view of the traffic in the city, supported by traffic survey.

The thesis is focused on systems of accompanied combined transport in Europe. The Theoretical part describes agreements and legal aspects essential for accompanied combined transport in Europe. The Theoretical part then describes in detail two of the most used systems of accompanied combined transport, which are Rollende Landstraße and Modalohr. The Practical part compares costs of road transport with costs of accompanied combined transport displayed on two actual European routes.

The topic of the diploma work the Analysis of Critical Locations for Road Transport in a Chosen region – Brno-Country was proposed with the aim to use its results in a practice. The practical use is guaranteed by the cooperation with the Traffic Inspectorial Brno-country of the Police of Czech Republic. The aim of the work is to propose organization and constructional-technical measures that will lead to the increasing of the safety of the road transport after careful analysis of a concrete place, which is the crossroad A56 of the roads III/42510, III/41619, and III/39528. In the end of the work are proposed concrete remedies suitable for realization, which will contribute to an increasing to the road transport safety in the subject crossroad. The results are destined in the first for the use the Police of Czech Republic, appropriate City Hall, and Road Board and Service, but some partial conclusions are suitable for a serious consideration of drivers too.

A thesis submitted the to the Department of Anthropology and Development Studies in fulfilment of the requirement for the degree of Master of Arts in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Zululand,2018. / Literature of the study showed that the transport studies in general that have examined the causality between transport and economic development. The literature revealed that there is a lack of studies that have specifically examined the role of road transport frameworks in enhancing human development. The present study examined the role of the National Land Transport Strategic Framework (NLTSF) in enhancing human development with a specific reference to income generation at uMlalazi Local Municipality. Using the New Public Management as an approach which guided crafting of strategic plans such as transport frameworks, the study examined the role played by strategic frameworks such as NLTSF in enhancing human development. The study adopted a mixed research method approach for collecting and analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data. The study used both approaches for the purposes of fully and broadly comprehending the phenomenon studied. Findings of the study revealed that there is a mixed picture about the contribution of road construction projects towards improving the socioeconomic livelihoods of the subjects of the study area. The study concluded that the provision of proper rural road transport infrastructure enhanced income generation capabilities, improved mobility, and, stimulated economic development through the establishment of small local businesses. However, lack of transparency and adherence to fair practices during the recruitment of projects participants, power contest between traditional leaders and councilors and political dynamics in the implementation of projects appeared to be the key challenges. Therefore, the study recommends the evaluation and monitoring of project recruitment procedures and the intensification of cooperative governance between government and civil society.
