Aplinkos apsaugos vadybos sistemos (Vilniaus miesto paslaugų įmonių motyvacijos diegti AVS tyrimas) / Environmental Management Systems (Vilnius Service Companies Motivation Survey for EMS Implementation)

Darbo tikslas – ištirti AVS diegimo motyvaciją Vilniaus miesto paslaugas teikiančiose organizacijose. Darbo objektas – Vilniaus miesto paslaugas teikiančių organizacijų motyvacija diegti AVS. Darbo metu nustatyti uždaviniai yra: ištirti AVS bendras charakteristikas ir AVS diegimo motyvus organizacijose teoriniu lygmeniu, pateikti AVS situacijos būklės, aplinkosaugą reglamentuojančią teisinės sistemos analizę Lietuvoje, ištirti AVS diegimą skatinančius veiksnius Vilniaus miesto įmonėse pagal įmonių dydį, nustatyti AVS diegimą ribojančius veiksnius Vilniaus miesto įmonėse bei pateikti siūlymus AVS situacinės aplinkos gerinimui. Iškeltam darbo tikslui bei uždaviniams pasiekti naudojami: mokslinės literatūros analizė, situacijos analizė, kiekybinis tyrimas (anketinė apklausa), lyginamoji analizė. Pagrindiniai informacijos šaltiniai buvo Lietuvos ir užsienio autorių mokslinė literatūra aplinkos apsaugos vadybos tema, mokslinės publikacijos Internete, empirinis tyrimas. Darbo metu buvo nagrinėjama teorinė, teisinė literatūra. Tyrimo metu buvo apklausta 231 Vilniaus miesto organizacija, išanalizuoti empiriniai duomenys, pateikta duomenų analizė bei išvados. / The urgency of the paper. Environmental protections politics is formed by Agenda 21, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management in international, Europe Union’s program for sustainable development in regional and Lithuania’s sustainable development plan – in national aspects. Total quality management and preventive environmental management principles are closely related – their essence is development of continuous improvement cycle with involvement of all employees of organization. These principles have the same goal: waste elimination or reduction. Total quality management defines the waste as lost time, including such indicators as inventory, number of defects and customer complaints; preventive environmental management defines the waste as pollution and inefficient resource consumption. Both total quality management and preventive environmental management help to increase profit and competitive advantage by implementation of systems approach enabling to improve economic indicators and to reduce negative impact on the environment. The main objective of this survey is to research the motivation for establishing environmental management systems in Vilnius service companies. Systém motivace pracovníků ve vybrané organizaci / Motivation and stimulation system of workers in a selected organisation

The aim of my thesis was evaluating the motivation of workers in a selected organisation and proposing changes leading to improving the management of this area. For being able to analyse these issues, I chose the organisation Hervis Sports and Fashions, Ltd. In the theoretical part information on the chosen topic is gained. In the practical part I have first specialised in the organisation itself, its profile followed by the evaluation of the present state of the organisation Hervis. Furthermore, I analysed in detail all benefits offered by the organisation. In order to gain information I chose an interview with a manager and a questionnaire enquiry. The main aim of this enquiry was to gain information on employees. I focused on the contentment of employees in terms of stimulation and motivation. Subsequently on searching for causes of dissatisfaction, on the perception of the motivation programme of the organisation or the general personal policy of the organisation. In the conclusion of the practical part there is the summary of the gained information and possible measures ( proposals), which could contribute to making the processes of motivation and stimulation within the organisation more effective.

Motivace dobrovolníků k práci v rozvojových zemích / The Motivation of volunteers to work in developing countries

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of motivation to volunteer in developing countries. The aim of the diploma thesis was to analyze the concept of volunteering in developing countries, with regard to the motivation of people who choose to volunteer in a developing country. The theoretical part characterizes the main concepts and topics such as volunteering, including its legislative definition, developing countries, motivation to volunteer. The practical part describes the research, which aimed to analyze the motivation of volunteers working in developing countries. The research sample consisted of 75 volunteers who were given a questionnaire of Author's own design. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with two other volunteers. Volunteers were found to be motivated to help, as well as motivation associated with personal gain. The motivation of volunteers was formed due to the experience with the effectiveness of aid in volunteering. Weaknesses were identified, in particular regarding the preparation of volunteers before leaving for a developing country. Part of the work is a recommendation for sending organizations, as well as for the volunteers themselves. Technologische Entwicklungen und der Trend zum digitalen Lernen und Arbeiten, schaffen neue Möglichkeiten für die berufsbegleitende Weiterbildung.... Learning Companions (LCs), also digitale, natürlich-sprachige Agenten (Chatbots oder sprachbasierte Assistenten), die eine freundschaftsähnliche Beziehung zu ihrem menschlichen Nutzer aufbauen, stellen einen innovativen Lösungsansatz dar, um Menschen vielfältig, individualisiert sowie zeit- und ortsunabhängig beim Lernen zu unterstützen (Khosrawi-Rad et al., 2022). Da eine hohe Motivation einen positiven Effekt auf den Lernerfolg und dessen Nachhaltigkeit hat (Hawlitschek & Merkt, 2018), jedoch gleichzeitig, insbesondere im digitalen Raum ein großes Problemfeld darstellt (Limarutti et al., 2021), forcieren wir den Einsatz eines LCs in seiner Rolle als Motivator. This diploma thesis is dealing with motivations of employees and volunteers to work in organization of civil society. The aim of the thesis was to compare motivations of employees and volunteers working in the particular organization of civil society and to find out if and eventually how, the volunteer and employee management's styles vary. The theoretical part focuses on the main theories of motivation and motivation strategies. The research was a case study of the civil society organization, which specify on the care of seniors. The thesis may be used by the organization for a feedback and it may bring some advices regarding workers motivations.
