Chemické omyly ve světle skutečnosti - identifikace a vysvětlení / Chemical mistakes in the light of reality - identification and explanation

Fatka, David January 2018 (has links)
This thesis deals with widespread, chemically-themed misinformation. The the- oretical part describes psychological effects leading to myth spreading. It also descri- bes the debunking possibilities of such myths and the didactic reasons for misinformation- based work on the high school level. General practical part uses methods of content analysis upon random sample of School educational programmes to prove the usability of misinformation-based work in education. It also summarizes the organisations and resources useful for myth debunking. Specific practical part deals with analysis of chosen suspicious information, their credibility and the possibilities of educational work based on them. The chosen in- formation was the "medicinal" usage of chlorine dioxide solution. Rumors of alkaline diet and alleged harmfulness of aspartame, an artificial sweetener, were also chosen. The way they tend to be presented, none of these claims are backed. In all these cases, multiple unsubstantiated claims were found among proponents of these ideas.

Ekologické daně v zemích OECD / Environmental taxes in OECD countries

Franková, Martina January 2013 (has links)
The object of the diploma thesis is to analyse the environmental taxation in the OECD countries, to inform the readers about the development of environmental taxes and current trends in tax revenues from environmental taxes. The thesis is also focused on the structure of revenues from environmental taxes, the significant part is created by energy taxes, especially by taxes on motor fuels. Attention is also paid to taxation of carbon dioxide, according to the OECD the carbon taxes are one of the effective tools to reduce CO2 emissions, which is important to achieve the targets set under the Kyoto Protocol. The explicit carbon taxes are applied in the 12 tax systems of 12 OECD member countries and in the Canadian province of British Columbia. An increase of the countries applying carbon taxes since 2010 demonstrates the increased demand for this tool in recent years. The object of the last part of the thesis is to analyse whether declining tax burden on labour while increasing tax burden on energy is put into practice.

Fotokatalytická aktivita tištěných hybridních vrstev oxidu titaničitého / Photocatalytic activity of printed hybrid layers of titanium dioxide

Sýkorová, Kateřina January 2018 (has links)
The main aim of this thesis was to optimalise composition of the titanium dioxide with a silica binder deposited on a PET foil. Emphasis was put on achieving maximum possible adhesion and hardness of the layer and the effect on photocatalytic activity. For the evaluation of photocatalytic activity comparative experiments with prepared layers were performed. Benzoic acid, dimethyl sulfoxide and azo dye Acid Orange 7 were used as model pollutants. Photocatalytic activity was investigated using UV-VIS spectrophotometry, formal rate constants and degree of conversion were also determined. The study results can be used for removing water pollutants from the water solution.

Studium možností zmatňování povrchu pro účely 3D skenování / Study of surface coating possibilities for 3D scanning purposes

Franke, Jakub January 2020 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with matte coatings for 3D scanning purposes. The coatings are made with spray gun which uses a vibrating membrane atomizer and air blow gun. A suspension of titanium dioxide and alcohol is used as a coating material. This thesis describes the effect of the spray gun process parameters on the deposited coatings. These include, for example type of the coating suspension or setup of the blow gun. Phase Doppler Anemometry was used to measure spray characteristics. Deposited coatings were measured with profilometer and scanned with 3D scanner to study their thickness and effect on the results of 3D reconstruction. The result of this work was the coating with thickness below 1 µm with good optical properties for 3D scanning purposes. Standard deviation of the captured point cloud from the reference plane was below 0.0011 mm.

Návrh a výroba laditelných dielektrických metapovrchů pro viditelné a infračervené vlnové délky / Design and fabrication of tunable dielectric metasurfaces for visible and infrared wavelengths

Kepič, Peter January 2021 (has links)
