A educação permanente é estruturada e tem um eixo que define e configura demandas educativas no setor saúde, pensando neste processo de trabalho em saúde, e com política de educação trazendo definições hegemônica sendo recomendação como política para o setor saúde através das políticas do MS. O estudo avalia o conceito teórico/prático da operacionalização da política através da especialização em SF como proposta da educação em saúde. Método bibliográfico por existir um consórcio com estas características de formação. Pesquisa subsidiada, por entrevistas, devido a não possibilidade de acesso a documentos informativos sobre educação em saúde através do consórcio do MS. Apesar do consenso construído a partir de documentos oficiais do governo, a compreensão de seu real significado se torna algo divisível a partir da proposta. Este conceito vêem de encontro com a conceituação desta prática aos profissionais de saúde. A organização do trabalho, constrói uma cultura ainda fortemente hierarquizada, legitimando espaços de definição e operação de demandas, ao mesmo tempo que dificulta a criação de práticas mais horizontais que aproximem-se das reais necessidades educacionais pelo processo de trabalho em saúde. Este estudo demonstrou a fragilidade da educação permanente como conceito prático e como proposta das pólitcas públicas de saúde. / Continuing education is structured and has an axis that defines and configures educational demands in the health sector, this thinking process work in health, education and policy definitions bringing recommendation as being hegemonic policy for the health sector through policies of MH.The study evaluates the concept theoretical / practical operationalization of the policy through specialization in FH as the proposed health education. Method for bibliographic exists a consortium of training with these characteristics. Research subsidized by interviews, due to not being able to access to information documents on health education through the Consortium of MH.Despite the consensus built from oficial government documents, understanding its real meaning becomes something divisible from the proposal. This concept come from meeting with the conceptualization of this practice for health professionals. The organization of work, builds a culture still strongly hierarchical, legitimizing spaces definition and operation demands, while also hinders the creation of a more horizontal approach to real educational needs of the health work process. This study demonstrated the fragility of lifelong learning as a concept and as a practical proposal pólitcas of public health.

Caracterização da região ótima de sistemas mamográficos através de simulação baseada no método das funções de transferência de modulação / not available

O presente projeto de pesquisa trata da investigação detalhada dos aspectos relacionados à \'\'Região Ótima\" do campo de radiação, particularmente voltada a sistemas mamográficos. Tal região foi definida em pesquisas anteriores como a faixa do campo onde o sistema apresenta sua melhor performance em termos de resolução espacial, produzindo, portanto, imagens mais nítidas. A investigação aqui proposta tomará por base a associação de dois métodos de avaliação de sistemas de imagem radiológica, que empregam simulação computacional para determinar as Funções de Transferência de Modulação (FTMs) - método de simulação a partir da FEL [SCHIABEL92] e método de simulação a partir da FEP [MARQUES92] - devidas ao ponto focal em diversas orientações e posições do campo. A finalidade é propor um método de prever a existência e extensão da Região Ótima, bem como seu significado prático para a nitidez da imagem e para a utilização de equipamentos mamográficos não isotrópicos, através de comparações entre os modelos de simulação. A comprovação prática dos resultados e das conclusões foi complementada com avaliações de imagens radiográficas feitas com \"phantoms\". / The propose of this work is to make a detailed investigation related with the optimum region aspects of x-rays radiation fields, specially in mammographic systems. Previous researches defined the optimum region as a field range where the system produces the best performance and best sharpened images.This investigation is based on the association of two analysis methods of radiological imaging systems which use computational simulation to determine the focal spot Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) - simulation method of Spread Line Function [SCHIABEL92] and simulation method of Spread Point Function [MARQUES94] - in severa! orientations and x-ray field positions. The intent is to propose a method to preview the existence of the optimum region, as well its practical meaning for the image sharpness and the utilization of a non-isotropic mammographic equipment, through comparison between both simulation models. The practical validation of the results and conclusions was complemented with the valuation of some radiographic images made with \"phantoms\".

A phytosociological study of Peat Swamp Forests in the Kosi Bay lake system, Maputaland, South Africa

This study investigates patterns and processes in transformed and uncultivated Peat Swamp Forests (PSF) situated within the Kosi Bay Lake System Catchment (KBLSC) in north-eastern Maputaland, South Africa. Phytosociological investigations were performed to identify and describe the influence of recorded environmental factors and land use cultivation practices on PSF vegetation patterns (gradients and associations). PSF habitat were grouped into four mutually exclusive classes in the form of pristine, long-time recovering, recently disturbed and active gardening sites. Plant species were recorded separately in different forest strata, while peat profiles were sampled and described in selected Peat Swamp Forest valley bottom crosssections during fieldwork surveys in May and September of 2003. Multivariate analysis in the form of Agglomerative cluster analysis, Detrended correspondence analysis (DCA), Non-metric multidimensional scaling (NMDS) ordinations, and Indicator species analysis were used to identify and describe 5 Peat Swamp Forest communities associated with uncultivated and long-time recovering conditions (38 sampling plots), while 9 PSF communities were identified and described from the combined (four) PSF classes (65 sampling plots). Peat Swamp Forests were associated with channeled valley bottom and hillslope seepage inter– dune landscape settings that are connected to other watercourses within the Kosi Bay Lake System Catchment. The study found that Peat Swamp Forests are consistent with the definition of a phreatic (groundwater dependant) ecosystem, as they displayed indicators of prolonged groundwater-derived saturation, including peat development on slopes located above the active channel. Cultivation practices modified the structure and species composition of PSF, while their recovery after gardening abandonment appeared to be related to the wetness regime and the remaining peat body. / Dissertation (MSc)--University of Pretoria, 2011. / Plant Science / unrestricted

This diploma thesis deals with the displaying process evaluation from the resolution capabilities of the ultra-sonic probe point of view. As a part of the thesis a method for measuring the response from point spread function (PSF) and method for measuring the response from linear spread function LSF were designed. Collected data were processed in the Matlab environment. Basic evaluation parameters of the space resolution capabilities were set and used – axial, lateral and traversal resolution.

Práce se zabývá adaptivními filtry pro vizualizaci obrazů s vysokým rozlišením. V teoretické části je popsán princip činnosti konfokálního mikroskopu a matematicky korektně zaveden pojem digitální obraz. Pro zpracování obrazů je volen jak frekvenční přístup (s využitím 2-D a 3-D diskrétní Fourierovy transformace a frekvenčních filtrů), tak přístup pomocí digitální geometrie (s využitím adaptivní ekvalizace histogramu s adaptivním okolím). Dále jsou popsány potřebné úpravy pro práci s neideálními obrazy obsahujícími aditivní a impulzní šum. Závěr práce se věnuje prostorové rekonstrukci objektů na základě jejich optických řezů. Veškeré postupy a algoritmy jsou i prakticky zpracovány v softwaru, který byl vyvinut v rámci této práce.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá modelováním bodové rozptylové funkce (point spread function, PSF) u skenovacího transmisního elektronového mikroskopu (STEM). Nejprve je provedena teoretická rešerše, kde jsou popsány všechny důležitě aspekty, potřebné k následnému modelování. Je tedy proveden základní popis konstrukce přístroje a určeny jeho klíčové komponenty, které mají hlavní vliv na tvar výsledné PSF. Následně jsou popsány hlavní zobrazovací vady, které ovlivňují výslednou PSF. Ty jsou popsány z hlediska vlnové optiky. Na základě toho je pak navržen a zrealizován poměrně přesný model PSF u mikroskopu STEM. Poté je vytvořeno GUI, které umožňuje plné využití daného vytvořeného modelu. Na závěr je získaný model otestován na modelových a reálných datech, pomocí metody Lucy-Richardson.

Eliminace zkreslení obrazů duhovky / Suppresion of distortion in iris images

This master`s thesis is focused on a suppression of a distorsion in iris images. The aim of this work is to study and describe existing degradation methods (1D motion blur, uniform 2D motion blur, Gaussian blur, atmospheric turbulence blur, and out of focus blur). Furthermore, these methods are implemented and tested on a set of images. Then, we designed methods for suppression of these distorsions - inverse filtration, Wiener filtration and iterative deconvolution. All of these methods were tested and evaluated. Based on the experimental results, we can conclude that the Wiener-filter restoration is the most accurate approach from our test set. It achieves the best results in both normal and iterative mode.
