To do so, the research goes through three main steps. The first is focused on examining the concepts of nation, nationalism, imperialism and the transnationalization of capitalism in its complex relations, in order to delimit the theoretical assumptions used. Then a historical survey of the conflict was made from the British mandate, through the creation of the State of Israel and reaching the Oslo accords. Finally, we examined the changes that have occurred in the 21st century: the construction of the Apartheid wall, the growing use of the notion of terrorism in political analysis and practice, the interplay of interests in the Middle East region and their implications at the international / global level / O presente trabalho volta-se para a análise das relações entre a luta pela autodeterminação nacional do povo palestino e o processo tendencialmente global de expansão capitalista. Para tanto, a pesquisa passa por três etapas principais. A primeira está focada no exame dos conceitos de nação, nacionalismo, imperialismo e internacionalização do capitalismo em suas complexas relações, com vistas a delimitar os pressupostos teóricos utilizados. Em seguida, foi feito um levantamento histórico do conflito a partir mandato britânico, passando pela criação do Estado de Israel e chegando aos acordos de Oslo. Por fim, foram examinadas as mudanças ocorridas no século XXI: a construção do muro do Apartheid, o crescente recurso à noção de terrorismo na análise e na prática políticas, o jogo de interesses na região do Oriente Médio e suas implicações no plano internacional/mundial
