Mezinárodní komparace penzijních systémů (ČR a Švýcarsko) / Comparison of Selected Pension Systems (The Czech Republic - Switzerland)

Mikulcová, Jana January 2011 (has links)
The Master Thesis focuses on the description of two selected European pension systems, comparing primarily the structure and funding of Czech and Swiss pension models, the performance of pension funds and the conditions under which senior citizens are entitled to old age pension. The Thesis also arouses the question wheather the steps to reform the Czech pension system could be inspired by a foreign system and wheather the Swiss model would set a suitable example.

Reforming pensions is necessary, because the current demographic trends are mainly characterized by aging population. Significant demographic changes are going to lead to great implications for output growth. To maintain the financial stability of pension system, reforms are necessary. The first part of this thesis deal with changes in the present Czech population and the demographic forecasts for next fifty years. The second part is devoted to analyzing the setting of the pension system. The third part describes the upcoming reform which proposes to introduce a combined pension system. The last part of my thesis is devoted to the possible benefits, risks, and fiscal capacity of implementing the combined pension system.

Český důchodový systém a jeho další vývoj ve srovnání s důchodovými systémy vybraných států Evropské unie / Czech pension system and its further development compared with pension schemes of selected states of the European Union

KUBIŠOVÁ, Barbora January 2012 (has links)
The theme of my diploma thesis is a comparison of the Czech pension system with pension systems of chosen European Union countries. I focus also on planned changes and a further development in the Czech pension system and in chosen states. For the comparison I chose four states ? the Slovak Republic, Poland, Germany and the Great Britain. I chose the Slovak Republic, Poland and Germany because these are states with the pension systems similar to the Czech Republic. On the contrary I selected the Great Britain because its system is very different. The aim of this thesis was to compare pension systems in chosen European Union countries: the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Germany and the Great Britain and to map their further development. The thesis was processed theoretically and it is focused only on the pension that secures a man in the retirement age. The introduction outlines a demographic development, which is one of the factors why there are changes in individual systems. Furthermore, in this thesis there are characterized pension systems of the chosen states. There are mentioned conditions for a participation in the pension schemes, types of retirement pensions and conditions for an entitlement to a pension payment. To outline the development of individual systems, I tried, in the second part of the thesis, to briefly describe pension reforms and current changes that occurred. In all countries a necessary condition for an entitlement to pension payments is to pay a social security insurance that is why I compared amounts of the insurances in individual states, which I further took into account in a discussion. I always compared the Czech Republic with the other states in the discussion. I focused on the comparison of the retirement age, years of the insurance required for the entitlement for the retirement pension, current changes and especially an opt-out system in the Czech Republic which is planned for the next year. I tried to compare the conditions that were during the implementation of this system established in other states and which are planned in this country. I believe that the thesis can be used by a professional and lay public for a better orientation in the legislation of pension systems of the chosen states.

Vliv stárnutí populace na důchodový systém v České republice a Polsku / Consequences of the demographic ageing for the pension system in the Czech Republic and Poland

Mielniczková, Aneta January 2013 (has links)
Nowadays, what has become a subject of frequent discussions is the demographic trend of rapidly aging population, which significantly influences current pension system. Goal of this dissertation, besides description of relevant legislative development in Czech Republic and Poland, is to introduce theoretically possible parameters of regulation before and after pension reform (2013) assuming that rules for retirement at a particular age are valid. This dissertation works with following parameters: retirement age, replacement ratio and pension insurance tariff. Based on these parameters, three different projections have been created and described theoretically possible regulations of specific parameters of pension system while using following indicators: rate of economic dependency, ratio expenses on pension system : GDP and pension insurance tariff. Determinants for the transition from work into retirement in Europe

Riedel, Monika, Hofer, Helmut, Wögerbauer, Birgit 12 February 2015 (has links) (PDF)
We use the labor force ad hoc module "transition from work into retirement" to analyze the link between individual as well as pension system characteristics and planned retirement age within the European Union. We find that timing of retirement is correlated between partners who are, already at the stage of retirement planning. In richer countries of the EU15, standard retirement age seems to have a larger effect on planned retirement age than in poorer EU15 states or in new EU member states. The effect of pension wealth is largest in the new EU member states and smallest in rich EU15 countries. Furthermore, industry and occupation effects differ by country type. (authors' abstract)

Solidarita a ekvivalence v důchodovém systému ČR / Solidarity and equivalence in the Czech pension system

Staňková, Markéta January 2010 (has links)
My diploma thesis deals with problems of pension insurance, which is characterized by strong income redistribution and low pension equivalence. The aim of my thesis is complex analysis of contemporary state of Czech pension system from the point of view of solidarity and equivalence principle application and to propose solution reinforcing equivalence principle. In the theoretical part of the theses I first define terms solidarity and equivalence, then introduce types of pension plans, possibilities of their financing and describe current pension system. Analytical part points to excessive solidarity of Czech pension system. Analysis covers both mandatory basic pension insurance (reduction limits, non-contributory periods), and additional pension insurance with state contributions. Analysis contains comparison with selected states. Thesis conclusion leads in proposal of adequate problem solution. Study employs methods of systemic analysis, comparison, and synthesis.

Vývoj francouzského důchodového systému / The development of the French pension system

Zajíček, Tomáš January 2019 (has links)
The thesis deals with the pension system evolution in France. Its main objective is to provide the detailed description concerning the development of the French social security system especially focused on the social security for elderly people. The contemporary pension system is the result of the long evolution lasting for centuries. Despite the fact that it is also based on obligatory participation, a lot of differences can be found by comparison to the other European countries. The system in France consists of several independent systems that are governed by different rules. This plurality finds its principal origin in the Napoleonic era when the first pension schemes for some specific professions have been settled. The variability of pension benefits for different groups of insured persons was the main cause why the concept of one uniform scheme for social insurance has failed after WW2. The first decades after establishing the universal (but not uniform) social security system were characterized by the economic growth and by the exceptionally favourable demographic situation. The difficulties appeared in 70s when the slowdown of the economic growth had a negative impact on labour market. Governments seemed to be preparing the deep system reform to solve the social system revenue decline...
