Šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje vis daugiau kalbama ne tik apie profesinę, tačiau ir apie asmeninę karjerą: galimybę realizuotis darbe ir šeimoje, gilinti žinias ir tobulinti įgūdžius, nuolat mokytis ir siekti aukštesnių rezultatų visose gyvenimo srityse. Taigi labai aktualu išsamiau tirti moterų gebėjimą derinti darbinę veiklą ir universitetines studijas, nes būtent universitetinės studijos yra orientuotos į bendrą visuminį asmens pasirengimą veikti visuomenėje, visapusiškai atliepti laikmečio iššūkius. Darbo objektas – moters akademinių studijų ir darbinės veiklos dermė. Darbo tikslas – išanalizuoti moterų gebėjimą sėkmingai derinti universitetines studijas ir darbinę veiklą, kaip sėkmingos jų asmeninės karjeros plėtros sąlygą. Darbe keliami šie uždaviniai: Išanalizuoti moters asmeninės karjeros sampratą bei jos plėtrą sąlygojančius veiksnius šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje. Išnagrinėti moters, kuriančios asmeninę karjerą, universitetinių studijų ir darbinės veiklos dermės galimybių sąlygas. Ištirti akademines studijas bei darbinę veiklą derinančių moterų požiūrį į šių veiklų dermės galimybes asmeninės karjeros plėtros atžvilgiu. Darbą sudaro: įvadas, trys skyriai, išvados, literatūros sąrašas, santrauka lietuvių ir anglų kalbomis, priedai.
