The diploma thesis deals with the chosen company performance assessment. The company is analyzed on the basis of multi-criteria model which is used for management approaches´ assessment, specifically by means of model Start Plus. After that, the point assessment of this model was made, the strengths and the areas for improvement were identified and the specific steps were suggested. The implementation of these steps should contribute to an improvement in the company performance.

The results of this model are identifications of strengths and areas with possibility of improvement. The conclusion of this work is suggested measurements, which should lead to the company’s higher performance.

The diploma thesis describes the performance evaluation of the organization according to model Start plus. The first part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical description of methods, which are used to evaluate performance of the organization. The second part of thesis describes analysis of the organization evaluation using multi-criteria model Start plus. Base on the findings, each criteria is rated and then strengths and areas for possible improvement are identified.

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of the performance of the selected company with the help of a multi-criteria model START PLUS. The whole thesis is divided into four fundamental parts that are intertwined. The first part deals with the objectives set and the chosen methodology of this thesis. The theoretical block explains the basic concepts and conventional and unconventional approaches to performance measurement. In the analytical part, the company is characterized, and a complex analysis is carried out based on the chosen model, which results in the identification of strengths and opportunities for improvement, as well as in the point assessment in the studied areas. Based on these findings, real measures are created in the design part, which should contribute to the increase the performance of the company.

The output of performed analyzes via point evaluation is to identify strengths and weaknesses of the company, on basis of what proposals for changes leading to an overall improvement of the company's performance will be presented.

Thirty-six half-sibling Angus bulls were assigned one of three diets: 1) 60% corn-based (CON; S = 0.18%; n = 12); 2) 60% DDGS replacing corn (60DDGS; S = 0.55% DM; n = 12); 3) CON diet + equivalent sulfur of 60DDGS added as calcium sulfate (SULF; S = 0.54%; n = 12) to evaluate the effects of feeding diets containing DDGS or calcium sulfate on performance and semen characteristics. Bulls began the study at 9 months of age and gained 1.6 kg/day for 112 days. Treatment by day interactions (P < 0.05) were observed for glutathione peroxidase and trace mineral concentrations in seminal plasma. Effects of treatment (P < 0.05) were observed for semen kinematics and triiodothyronine in serum. Alterations observed when feeding 60% DDGS to developing bulls occurred in a manner that is not dependent on dietary sulfur; therefore, observed changes could be related to other components within DDGS.

Theoretical basis closer to the fundamental issue of work, explain the concepts of performance and quality, and focus on performance measurement tools. Analytical section gives more information about the company and its performance evaluation model is measured by START PLUS.

This thesis aims to assess the efficiency of the company Javořice, a.s. This company is rated with the help of the multi-criterial model START PLUS. Using this model, the strengths and weaknesses could be revealed. Measures aimed to increase productivity of the examined company were proposed in the conclusion of this thesis.

Magister Scientiae Dentium - MSc(Dent) / Die doel van hierdie in vitro studie was om mikrolekkasies te bepaal en te vergelyk in klas V kawiteite wat met verskillende amalgaambindingsisteme behandel is. Klas V kawiteitsvoorbereidings is vir elk van die drie sisteme in 16 kariesvrye menslike premolare voorberei sodat die okklusale rande in glasuur en die gingivale rande in dentien geëindig het. 'n Hoë koper sferiese amalgaam (Lojic) is onderskeidelik, volgens die vervaardigers se voorskrifte, met Amalgambond-Plus, Fuji-Plus en Optibond-Solo as bindmiddels in die kawiteite geplaas. Die tande is blootgestel aan 500 termiese siklusse tussen 5°C en 55°C in 'n basiese fuchsien oplossing as kleurstof, waarna hulle in hars ingebed, gesny en onder 'n stereomikroskoop by 100 x vergroting vir mikrolekkasie geëvalueer is. Diepte van kleurstofpenetrasie tussen die tandstruktuur en die vulsel is deur twee gekalibreerde operateurs vir elke groep bepaal. Statistiese analise van die data, deur middel van 'n Kruskal-Wallis analise (p < 0,05), het getoon dat Amalgambond-Plus betekenisvol meer mikrolekkasie toon as beide Optibond-Solo en Fuji-Plus. Optibond-Solo en Fuji-Plus het nie betekenisvol van mekaar verskil nie. Geen bindmiddel kon mikrolekkasie volledig elimineer nie. Die doel van die in vivo gedeelte van die studie was om mikrolekkasies te bepaal en te vergelyk in klas V kawiteite by vitale en non-vitale tande van 'n primaat wat met die Optibond-Solo amalgaambindingsisteem behandel was. Endodonsie was gedoen op sewe tande in die tweede kwadrant van 'n volwasse bobbejaan (papio Ursinus ursinus), ten einde non-vitale tande te bekom waarin die pulpale druk geëlimineer is. As vitale kontroles is dieselfde tande in die teenoorstaande kwadrant gebruik. Twaalf bukkale klas V kawiteite is in vitale-, sowel as non-vitale tande voorberei. 'n Hoë koper sferiese amalgaam (Lojic) is met Optibond-Solo as bindingsagens volgens die vervaardigers se voorskrifte in alle kawiteite geplaas. Na 90 dae is die tande geoës, vir 24 uur by 37°C in 'n basiese fuchsien oplossing geplaas, in hars ingebed, gesny en vir mikrolekkasie ondersoek onder 'n optiese mikroskoop by 100 x vergroting. Die gemiddelde lesings is vir elke groep verkry en met mekaar vergelyk. Die vitale groep het betekenisvol meer mikrolekkasie getoon as die non-vitale groep waar pulpale druk uitgeskakel was. Skandeer elektron mikroskopie (SEM) Ten einde die morfologie van die binding te illustreer, is een tand uit elke groep vir 48 uur in 10% HCI gedemineraliseer, waarna hulle vir 'n verdere 48 uur in 3% NaOCI gedeproteïniseer is. 'n Tweede groep IS vertikaal deur die kawiteite gefraktuur. Die voorbereide monsters is deur middel van 'n skandeer elektron mikroskoop (lO KV) by verskillende vergrotings ondersoek. Die vorming van 'n goed ontwikkelde hibriedlaag, met inkorporering van die bindingshars in die amalgaam, kon waargeneem word.
