A logística reversa e o tratamento de pneus inservíveis no Estado do Piauí

The reverse logistics, therefore, is essential to solve the environmental impact caused by scrap tyres and in this context the main question of this work: does the reverse logistics of scrap tyres used in the state of Piauí solve the problem of local scrap tyres? The hypothesis is: the scrap tyres produced in Piauí require the expansion of the Reverse Logistics System. This study is developed through a qualitative research based on framework by De Brito and Dekker (2003), as support to the construction of the questionnaires, analysis and description of reverse channel. The objective is investigate the compatibility between the logistics system used in the state of Piauí and the production of local scrap tyres, for this the seller of tyres and those that work only in reverse channel have been researched. Only in capital, the reverse logistics framework tyres confirm the hypothesis and the solution of the problem passes by the enlargement necessity of the system to others municipalities that feasible others treatment ways of the local scrap tyres. / Os pneus, além de amplamente consumidos, possuem características intrínsecas que limitam as opções de tratamento ao final do ciclo de vida útil. A logística reversa, portanto, é fundamental para solucionar o impacto ambiental causado pelos pneus inservíveis, e neste contexto, a questão central que emerge deste trabalho é: a logística reversa de pneus inservíveis empregada no Estado do Piauí resolve o problema de descarte de pneus? A hipótese é: os pneus inservíveis gerados no Piauí exigem a expansão do atual sistema de logística reversa. O estudo constitui-se em pesquisa predominantemente qualitativa, delineada pelo framework de De Brito e Dekker (2003), como apoio à formulação dos questionários e à análise e descrição do canal reverso. O objetivo é investigar a compatibilidade entre o sistema logístico empregado no Estado do Piauí e a geração de pneus inservíveis local, para tanto, foram investigados os agentes dos canais de vendas de pneus e os que atuam apenas no canal reverso. A estruturação da logística reversa de pneus apenas na capital confirma a hipótese, e a solução do problema passa pela necessidade de ampliação do sistema para outros municípios, com base na distribuição da frota de veículos, o que viabiliza, inclusive, outras formas de tratamento dos pneus inservíveis locais.
