Tesis para optar al grado de Mag?ster en Estudios Latinoamericanos / El presente ensayo empieza con una confesi?n: la necesidad de declarar que la escritura que se despliega en este trabajo posee una mirada estr?bica; por un lado, este ensayo despliega sus l?neas descriptivas sobre Tributo del mudo, texto po?tico escrito en 1982, por la poeta argentina Diana Bellesi (1946); por otra parte, la atenci?n tambi?n va a recaer sobre otro texto de poes?a, titulado La Bandera de Chile, escrito en 1981, pero publicado con posterioridad, por la poeta chilena Elvira Hern?ndez (1951). Si bien nuestra escritura ir? privilegiando el an?lisis de un texto por sobre otro, incluso separados por cap?tulos independientes, advertimos de entrada que en cada an?lisis rondar? el esp?ritu de la letra del otro texto po?tico, produci?ndose una contaminaci?n intertextual ah? donde centremos nuestra investigaci?n, defraudando a aquel lector que busca en esta escritura una separaci?n tan total como as?ptica de cada texto estudiado. No ha podido ser de otra forma, es m?s, ha sido totalmente conciente y program?tico en tanto hemos querido no s?lo abordar cr?tica y descriptivamente cada uno de estos textos sino adem?s hacerlos dialogar entre s?, entendiendo que di?logo implica establecer sus diferencias as? como explicitar aquellos aspectos que tienden a compartir, en lo textual y contextual. Convergencias y querellas que permiten la emergencia de perspectivas que en general son veladas a la cr?tica cuando ?sta se esmera en no querer salir de la letra misma.

Se pretende demostrar sus principales temas, como por ejemplo, el tenor metaf?sico, la angustia existencial, las pasiones plat?nicas, la muerte, la soledad, el silencio y la influencia de los poetas extranjeros, especialmente de la tradici?n rom?ntica y simbolista, as? como la manifestaci?n de la religiosidad, de lo sagrado desde siempre encadenada a diversas tradiciones religiosas del mundo. Siendo as?, la Tesis tiene como base te?rica los fundamentos de la tradici?n po?tica y del imaginario religioso diluidos a lo largo de todo el estudio / Esta Tese tem como objeto de investiga??o liter?ria a vida e a obra do poeta potiguar Walflan de Queiroz (1930-1995). Passados mais de 17 anos da sua morte, a sua poesia clama por uma fortuna cr?tica capaz de identificar suas caracter?sticas formais e est?ticas. Nos situamos em las obras Viagem y Mar Absoluto como anclas simb?licas de un discurso que nos remite a la relaci?n del poetar com el pensar. Se inserta, as?, esa po?tica ceciliana en um modo filos?fico plat?nico, trayendo elementos simb?licos, m?ticos, metaf?ricos capaces de remitirnos a las interpretaciones filos?ficas del siglo XX, tal la heideggeriana que entiende la poes?a dentro del principio del eterno juego del ser, que es lo del pr?prio lenguaje. Nuestra preocupaci?n fundamental fue trillar los caminos del erostismo filos?fico y la b?squeda de la autora em transcender la rigidez de los l?mites entre el masculino y el femenino, lanz?ndose em um imaginario po?tico cristiano, reinterpretado neoplatonicamente. Se exponen Mujer y Letras al espejo, velando y desvelando marcas e trazos de identidad. Tal juego especular nos ofreci? elementos po?ticos, est?ticos y una experiencia ceciliana del lenguaje del ser, designio de la poes?a m?sma. De esta nuestra iniciativa, que es tambi?n reflejada y reflexiva, reunimos a las Letras la Filosofia, resaltando que ambas de manera diferente - nos dieron acceso a la construcci?n de esa poes?a en que fulguran la escritura, el ser y la naturaleza metaforizada, caracterizando la multiplicidad de sentidos y la pluralidad de voces del presente y del pasado / Na floresc?ncia da modernidade brasileira, surge a poesia de Cec?lia Meireles, revelando a mulher que opta conscientemente pelo labor intelectual, pela especula??o filos?fica do amor e pela paix?o de escrever. This thesis investigates manufacturer-distributor power relationship in the Chinese Iron and Steel Industry. The main objectives of this study are to identify, describe and investigate the power relationships in Chinese Iron and Steel Industry; to understand the concept of power from the perspective of distributors and their relationship with State-Owned Enterprises and Private-Owned Enterprises in this industry; and to explore the possibility of developing an extended research power-relationship framework by investigating the power construct and potentially related and relevant factors in the Chinese market that may impact predicted outcomes such as positive conflict resolution attitude and levels of conflict. Two quantitative pilot studies were conducted, consisting of 14 surveys with semi-structured questions each, which were instrumental in the design of an extended power relationship model by incorporating the factors such as the level of trust, frequency of communication and level of guanxi that drive positive conflict resolution attitude into the traditional power model that had not been combined in a single framework before. Subsequently, the main study was carried out comprising 148 questionnaires completed by distributor firm managers. These represent the views of 74 respondents, who responded for both state-owned enterprises and private-owned enterprises in the Chinese Iron and Steel Industry The sample size is 74 respondents including 14 respondents that were also respondents for the pilot studies. This study generated four main findings. 1) a State-Owned Enterprises tend to use more non-coercive power than Private-Owned Enterprises, and have a stronger negative effect than Private-Owned Enterprises; 2) although Private-Owned Enterprises were rated higher than State-Owned Enterprises in the level of trust, and have a stronger positive effect when explaining the observed relationship between the level of trust and positive conflict resolution attitude, the difference is really minimal; 3) Private-Owned Enterprises were rated higher than State-Owned Enterprises in the frequency of communication, and have a stronger positive effect than State-Owned Enterprises in the explanation of the relationship between frequency of communication and positive conflict resolution attitude. 4) Private-Owned Enterprises were rated higher than State-Owned Enterprises in the level of guanxi, and have stronger positive effect than State-Owned Enterprises in the explanation of the relationship between level of guanxi and positive conflict resolution attitude. These findings contribute to fill gaps in the literature with regard to power relationships in distribution channels. This thesis extends the current boundary of knowledge through the formulation of an extended framework that integrates conflict resolution constructs into a typical/traditional power model. This extended framework comprises new constructs such as level of trust, frequency of communication and level of guanxi and hypothesises their impact on conflict resolution attitude and level of conflict in the Chinese distribution channel. New knowledge is created by investigating differences regarding the use of power by SOEs and POEs considered from the distributor perspective in the Chinese context. Theoretical and managerial implications are discussed in detail.

The goal of this thesis is to improve our knowledge on energetic particle precipitation into the Earth’s atmosphere from the thermosphere to the surface. The particles origin from the Sun or from temporarily trapped populations inside the magnetosphere. The best documented influence of solar (high-) energetic particles on the atmosphere is the Ozone depletion in high latitudes, attributed to the generation of HOx and NOx by precipitating particles (Crutzen et al., 1975; Solomon et al., 1981; Reid et al., 1991). In addition Callis et al. (1996b, 2001) and Randall et al. (2005, 2006) point out the importance of low-energetic precipitating particles of magnetospheric origin, creating NOx in the lower thermosphere, which may be transported downwards where it also contributes to Ozone depletion. The incoming particle flux is dramatically changing as a function of auroral/geomagnetical activity and in particular during solar particle events. As a result, the degree of ionization and the chemical composition of the atmosphere are substantially affected by the state of the Sun. Therefore the direct energetic or dynamical influences of ions on the upper atmosphere depend on solar variability at different time scales. Influences on chemistry have been considered so far with simplified precipitation patterns, limited energy range and restrictions to certain particle species, see e.g. Jackman et al. (2000); Sinnhuber et al. (2003b, for solar energetic protons and no spatial differentiation), and Callis et al. (1996b, 2001, for magnetospheric electrons only). A comprehensive atmospheric ionization model with spatially resolved particle precipitation including a wide energy range and all main particle species as well as a dynamic magnetosphere was missing. In the scope of this work, a 3-D precipitation model of solar and magnetospheric particles has been developed. Temporal as well as spatial ionization patterns will be discussed. Apart from that, the ionization data are used in different climate models, allowing (a) simulations of NOx and HOx formation and transport, (b) comparisons to incoherent scatter radar measurements and (c) inter-comparison of the chemistry part in different models and comparison of model results to MIPAS observations. In a bigger scope the ionization data may be used to better constrain the natural sources of climate change or consequences for atmospheric dynamics due to local temperature changes by precipitating particles and their implications for chemistry. Thus the influence of precipitating energetic particles on the composition and dynamics of the atmosphere is a challenging issue in climate modeling. The ionization data is available online and can be adopted automatically to any user specific model grid.
