Sua poesia dialoga com a de outros poetas modernos, mas inaugura uma voz feminina enunciada da província. A presente pesquisa analisa o tema da humildade na obra Bagagem propondo que se trata de um desdobrar das coisas simples na poesia a partir de uma voz feminina que também reflete sobre a linguagem poética. Para tanto, a dissertação está dividida em quatro capítulos; o primeiro, dedicado ao estudo da presença da mulher mineira nas Letras; o segundo aborda aspectos importantes da lírica moderna; o terceiro discute o tema da humildade na recepção crítica da poesia moderna; e o quarto analisa o corpus, constituído pelos poemas “Grande desejo”, “Orfandade” e “Pistas”, considerados exemplares para a perspectiva crítica adotada na pesquisa. A poética adeliana tem contribuições importantes para a crítica da poesia moderna, tanto no que tange aos modos como figura a mulher, quanto no que diz respeito à construção da lírica moderna que, a despeito da coloquialidade, justaposição de versos menos discursivos, fragmentação etc., não perde seu aspecto comunicativo. / The Minas Gerais-born poet Adélia Prado published her book Bagagem in 1976, at age 40, with a suggestive title of someone who had life experience and that it surpassed the literary one. Her poetry dialogues with other modern poets, but ushers in a feminine voice delivered from the province. The present research analyzes the theme of humility in the book Bagagem, proposing that it’s about the unfolding of the simples things in poetry from a feminine voice that also reflects the poetical language. For such, the dissertation is divided in four chapters: the first one is dedicated to the Minas Gerais women presence in literature; the second one features important aspects of the modern lyric; the third chapter discusses the theme of humbleness in the critical reception of modern poetry; and the fourth one analyses the corpus, which is composed of the poems “Grande Desejo”, “Orfandade” e “Pistas”, considered to be exemplar in the critical perspective adopted in the research. The adelian poetic has important contribution for the modern poetry critics, both in the way that the woman is featured as also in the construction of the modern lyric that, in despite of colloquialism, less discursive verse juxtapose, fragmentation etc. does not lose its communicative aspect.

For this purpose, there has been done the reading of two pieces by the author which were strongly marked by the memorialist treat motivator of these two topics, the child’s book Quando eu era pequena and the novelistic narrative Quero minha mãe. Based on this corpus, some discussions related to matters such as the complexity of the child being, the simplistic character commonly linked to child’s literature, the constant recurrence of the childhood and the mother subject in this literature, the role of this in the development of subjectivity in Prado’s characters, among others. Methodologically, at first there has been done a study about the characteristics in Adélia Prado’s writing, mainly, based on her literary influences. Next, a summary of the topics of childhood in this piece is done, having as basis the narrative in Quando eu era pequena, to reach, then, the representation of the mother, a being who, in this piece as a whole, is linked strictly to this primary phase of the individual’s life and is represented, in a more present manner, in the book Quero minha mãe. The relevance in studying the childhood and the motherly figure, in a broader way, exchanging with the social context; provides an interdisciplinary approach, reaching out to philosophical, psychological, historical and sociological fundaments. For this purpose, as theoretical support, studies on childhood are referred (CHOMBART DE LAUWE, 1991; LAJOLO, 1997; ARIÈS, 2006; MATA, 2006; COUTINHO, 2012a, 2012b), on literary historiography, critics and theory (ARRIGUCCI JR., 1987, 2002; PERRONE-MOISÉS, 1990, 1998, 2012; BARTHES, 2003, 2011; NITRINI, 2010;), on the author (LUCAS, 1991; QUEIROZ, 1994; HOHLFELDT, 2000; FONTENELE, 2002), on the woman social history, the femininity and the daughter-mother relationship (BEAUVOIR, 1970; BADINTER, 1985; CAMPOS, 2005; DEL PRIORE, 1995; FREUD, 1931, 1932; ZALCBERG, 2003), among others considered pertinent to the discussion. Thus, the work of Adélia Prado is examined, demonstrating, above all, that, in such literary record, we see the occurrence of the deconstruction of the idealized images of both the childhood and the motherly figure, so recurrent in the western culture. Furthermore, it is pointed that the childhood and the mother are two topics which are umbilicaly linked not only in the two books which compose the corpus for this research, but comprehends the complete writer’s fictional production, creating for the work a net of communicating vessels. / Esta pesquisa tem enfoque na representação da infância e da figura materna presente na literatura da escritora mineira Adélia Prado, buscando entender como se dá a integração desses elementos no universo literário em exame. Para tanto, é realizada uma leitura de duas obras fortemente marcadas pelo traço memorialístico motivador dessas temáticas, o livro infantil Quando eu era pequena e a narrativa novelística Quero minha mãe. Com base nesse corpus, propõem-se algumas discussões acerca de questões como a complexidade do ser criança, o caráter simplório comumente atribuído à literatura infantil, a constante recorrência da infância e do sujeito mãe nessa literatura, o papel deste no desenvolvimento da subjetividade das personagens adelianas, entre outras. Metodologicamente, procede-se de início a um estudo sobre as características da escrita de Adélia Prado, principalmente com base em suas influências literárias. Em seguida, faz-se um apanhado da temática da infância nessa obra tendo por base a narrativa de Quando eu era pequena, para se chegar, então, à representação da mãe, ser que, nessa obra como um todo, vincula-se estritamente a essa fase primeva da vida do indivíduo e é representada, de maneira mais presente, no livro Quero minha mãe. A relevância de estudar a infância e a figura da mãe, de forma mais ampla, dialogando com o contexto social; faculta uma abordagem interdisciplinar, recorrendo-se a fundamentos filosóficos, psicológicos, históricos e sociológicos. Para tanto, como aportes teóricos, são referidos estudos sobre infância (CHOMBART DE LAUWE, 1991; LAJOLO, 1997; ARIÈS, 2006; MATA, 2006; COUTINHO, 2012a, 2012b), sobre historiografia, teoria e crítica literária (ARRIGUCCI JR., 1987, 2002; PERRONE-MOISÉS, 1990, 1998, 2012; BARTHES, 2003, 2011; NITRINI, 2010;), sobre a autora (LUCAS, 1991; QUEIROZ, 1994; HOHLFELDT, 2000; FONTENELE, 2002), sobre a história social da mulher, a feminilidade e a relação mãe-filha (BEAUVOIR, 1970; BADINTER, 1985; CAMPOS, 2005; DEL PRIORE, 1995; FREUD, 1931, 1932; ZALCBERG, 2003), entre outros considerados pertinentes à discussão. Assim, examina-se a obra de Adélia Prado, demonstrando-se, principalmente, que, em tal registro literário, ocorre uma desconstrução da imagem idealizada tanto da infância como da figura materna, tão presente na cultura ocidental. Além disso, aponta-se também que infância e mãe são duas temáticas que se encontram umbilicalmente interligadas não apenas nos dois livros que compõem o corpus deste trabalho, mas abrangem toda a produção ficcional da escritora, criando para a obra um traçado de vasos comunicantes.

Analisar a manifestação poética feminina, canônica e não-canônica, na poesia brasileira contemporânea de autoria feminina, direcionando também um olhar para as vozes femininas presentes na canção popular brasileira. Perceber como esse sujeito histórico formula seu discurso e trabalha a linguagem para produzir sentidos e construir sua história. Compreende-se que o processo de globalização encontra-se intimamente relacionado às transformações sociais, culturais e individuais vivenciadas neste tempo contemporâneo, que denota a fluidez das fronteiras de centro e margens, nas quais o deslocamento e o descentramento constituem o universo contemporâneo. Para suporte conceitual, os teóricos com os quais trabalho são Zygmunt Bauman (2001), Stuart Hall (2001), Linda Hutcheon (1991) e Anthony Giddens (1991). Eles concordam que esta época é o período das incertezas, das fragmentações e das desconstruções devido a fatores sociais como as modificações sistêmicas do capitalismo, da cultura informatizada, e a fatores individuais como o descentramento e fragmentação na concepção de sujeitos. Em suma, perceber como este “eu”, o sujeito feminino, manifesta-se no momento globalizado contemporâneo e se torna fator relevante para que se possa discuti-lo nas suas representações dialógicas e simbólicas. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT / The aim of this study is to find in poetic texts written by Adélia Prado, Adriana Calcanhotto and Angelica Torres the place where the enunciator subject builds her speech, as well as her position facing contemporary demands. Thus, an analysis of either canonic or non-canonic female poetic manifestations is performed, regarding Brazilian contemporary poetry by female authors, also focusing on female voices present in Brazilian popular songs, in order to perceive how this historical subject designs her speech and works on language to make sense and build her story. It is understood the globalization process is closely related to social, cultural, and individual changes experienced in such contemporary moment, which denotes the existence of a thin line between center and borders, where displacement and decentralization compose the contemporary universe. The authors supporting the theoretical basis of this study: Zygmunt Bauman (2001), Stuart Hall (2001), Linda Hutcheon (1991), and Anthony Giddens (1991) agree that the epoch we live in is seen as the age of uncertainties, fragmentations, and deconstructions, due to social factors, such as systemic changes in capitalism, in computing culture, and individual factors, such as decentralization and fragmentation in subjects‟ conception. In short, perceiving how this “self”, the female subject, expresses herself in the contemporary globalised moment becomes a relevant issue to discuss this subject in her dialogic and symbolic representations.

No primeiro capítulo analisamos a autora Adélia Prado, sua criação, a influência de Minas em sua vida, como menina criada no interior, professora de filosofia e sua prática religiosa a qual se reflete em muitos de seus escritos. Nos dois próximos temos as pressões sociais e patriarcais que influenciaram a mulher em sua formação feminina dentro do pátrio poder. Utilizamos para isso uma teoria advinda de Rosaldo e Lamphere que demonstra a mulher na sociedade, na cultura e no trabalho. Evidentemente, pesquisamos outros autores que estudaram o feminino, a religião e Adélia Prado como Stein, Duby, Sicuteri e a própria Bíblia. Além disso, toda a parte religiosa fixou-se também com Leonardo Boff, crítico religioso deste novo aspecto da mulher dentro da Igreja como renovadora. No capítulo quatro, deu-se a análise de mulheres bíblicas e não bíblicas como Lilith e Eva na composição de suas figuras femininas. E, por fim, procedemos a análise de dezenove poemas adelianos com todas as considerações já citadas.Concluímos que a autora exprime, por meio de um tom feminino, uma perspectiva feminina. Além disso, acreditamos que as figuras femininas têm algo a dizer como instrumento de análise literária, podendo auxiliar na compreensão de muitos aspectos existentes em sua obra... / The purpose of this study is to evidence, in Adélia Prado's female characters, aspects which can characterize social and religious influences of all decades. Analyzing her poetry in Poesia Reunida (2001) it becomes evident the particular situation lived by the author as a woman and closing with the religious universe as the decision form at her discourse, influencing both the choice of terms and her poetical language, moreover to increase esthetics valorization in her literary composition. In the first chapter, we analyze the person Adélia Prado, her raising, Minas influences in her life, as a girl educated in interior of Brazil, a philosophy teacher and her religious practice that reflects in many of her works. In chapters two and three we see how the social and patriarchal pressure influenced woman in her feminine formation in patriarchy. We employ to that a theory by Rosaldo & Lamphere. They show woman in society, in culture and at work. It's obvious that we deal with other authors that studied the feminine, religion and Adélia Prado such as Stein, Duby, Sicuteri and the Bible. Moreover, all the religious part was based on Leonardo Boff, too, a religious critic of the new woman's aspects into the church as renewer. In the fourth chapter, there is the analysis of biblical and non biblical women like Lilith and Eve in the compositions of her female figures. And finally, we proceed an analysis of nineteen Adelian poems with all the considerations named. In conclusion, the author manifests, in a way that is female, a female perspective. Furthermore, we believe that female figures have something to say as an instrument of literary analysis, helping comprehension of many aspects in her literary composition, mainly in those that show a structural psychology modified and consolidated with the decades. This study supplies descriptive bases important as explanation, all over possible to enrich the work and analyses.
