Die kennis en houding van kleuterskoolpersoneel rakende die seksuele misbruik van kleuters en die aanmelding daarvan / Annamarie van Niekerk

Van Niekerk, Annamarie January 2012 (has links)
Pre-school children often spend the most part of the day at a pre-primary school or a day care centre. Pre-school children sometimes make the first statement of sexual abuse to a pre-school teacher. Due to this phenomenon it is important that pre-school personnel are knowledgeable about basic information in connection with sexual abuse of the pre-school child and the reporting of the abuse. A positive attitude toward the protection of children against sexual abuse and the willingness to get involved in the reporting of sexual abuse or the suspicion there of, will guarantee that the best interest of the pre-school child is served. Die purpose of the research was to ascertain the knowledge and attitude of pre-school personnel toward sexual abuse of pre-school children and the reporting there of, to determine whether pre-school personnel act in the best interest of pre-school children. The research followed a quantitative approach. 13 Pre-primary schools took part in the research and 70 pre-school personnel completed the questionnaires. The questionnaires were completed in the participants own time. The findings clearly showed that pre-school personnel who were involved in the research did not have sufficient knowledge, nor a desirable attitude toward sexual abuse of the pre-school child and the reporting thereof. A need for training in this field can be concluded from the findings. / Thesis (MSW (Forensic))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2012

Havlíková, Jana January 2018 (has links)
TITLE: Orientation in time at kindergarten focusing on the Sun and Moon AUTHOR: Bc. Jana Havlíková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Micheala Kaslová ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the development of orientation in time focusing on the Sun and Moon in preschool children as part of the attendance at kindergarten. In the theoretical part, in addition to the definition of the term of time from various disciplines, there is also an outline of the development of perception and measurement of time in terms of both evolutionary and individual development. The practical part is focused on setting up scenarios of individual activities for observing the position of the sun in the sky, the length and direction of the sun's shadow, and the awareness of the alternation of the day with the night and the seasons. All this within the framework of action research, which was implemented in one kindergarten class. Projekt Trojský koník / Project Trojan Cockhorse

Pittnerová, Mariana January 2015 (has links)
Management of the Faculty of Humanities, Charles University considers opening a pre-school child care facility in a new seat of the faculty. The intention of this diploma work is to map and analyze legal forms of pre-school child care, needs of parents - employees and students of the faculty, and financial sources from which such facility could be funded; and then on the base of the analysis to design a solution suitable for the faculty. The solution has a form of a project plan, which, when approved, could be worked up and realized. Data needed for the project plan were gathered via analysis of documents, i.e. legal rules and web pages, and a questionnaire among employees and students of the faculty. According to the survey and in the case of available sufficient financial coverage, it would be ideal to establish at the faculty a facility with two children groups, each consisting of 15 children and a special children area of a 12 children capacity.
