Esta pesquisa investiga diferentes noções de infinito matemático em sujeitos adolescentes e adultos. Com fundamentação teórica na Epistemologia Genética, esta pesquisa teve a metodologia inspirada no método clínico piagetiano. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de uma entrevista e três provas com materiais concretos. Na primeira prova trabalha-se com uma quantidade muito grande, porém finita. Nas duas seguintes, em uma se trabalha com número infinitamente pequeno e na outra com número infinitamente grande. Com provas cujos resultados tendem ao infinito ou a números muito grandes, observa-se como o sujeito encara a possibilidade sem a materialidade. A entrevista aborda questões que fazem o sujeito pensar sobre o infinito em diferentes situações. A análise dos dados categoriza as diferentes noções de infinito matemático, sendo encontradas as seguintes categorias: Existência Inconcebível, Existência pouco previsível e Infinito como uma representação de algo que não tem fim. / This research investigates different concepts in adolescent and adult subjects on the mathematical infinite. With the theoretical basis in genetic epistemology, this research had the methodology inspired by the Piagetian clinical method. Data collection was conducted through an interview and three tests with concrete material. At the first proof works with a very large quantity, but finite. In the two following, one works with a infinitely small number and on another works with a infinitely big number. When the proofs tend to infinity or to very big numbers, are observed how the subject considers the possibility without the materiality. The interview deals issues which making the subject think about the infinite in different situations.
