Produktionsstyrning : Tillämpning av NCC Projektplanering i praktikenEriksson, Emilia January 2016 (has links)
This thesis aims to investigate which elements of the design process in production that have key features for successful progress of production and how these are regulated in the developed production model, the NCC Project planning, NCC Construction Sweden AB. A study of NCC Project planning used in construction output in the department of Mälardalen has been carried out and proposals for implementation of the model has been proposed. The work is carried out through interviews and archival analysis of NCC's business system. NCC Project planning is a production model based on LEAN Construction's governance model pull-planning and 5S principle. By means of the production model desired involvement in the work and control over the work process increase. In the current situation is not production model to the extent that the company wishes and therefore the reasons why mapped and solutions to the problem have been proposed. One of the biggest reasons that the NCC Project planning is not used in practice is the lack of commitment from supervisors, managers and production managers. As a solution to the problem suggested mentors, field trips and custom training for production management model.

The present research work described "Proposal for Improvement in Work Planning of the National Rural Housing Program (PNVR) Applying Pull Planning" has been developed in response to the problem to meet the schedules of delivery of housing projected according to agreements developed in areas of poverty and extreme poverty of the national territory.
Although it is true, we have been successfully building housing modules since the creation of the PNVR in 2012, the delivery efficiency has not been as expected, generating delay and disagreement on the part of the program beneficiaries.
The PNVR was born as a result of the need to improve the quality of life of the population described above and achieve an approach to basic services and social inclusion of populations with greater difficulty for development.
This thesis seeks to contribute to the improvement of the work schedule planning, detect restrictions in the process and propose improvement opportunities for the continuity of the program that benefits a large part of the national population.

This research work proposes the application of guidelines and tools of Lean Construction philosophy to achieve adequate planning, building and control of multi-family building projects with the objective of minimizing and preventing various problems at work, which only affect in cost, time and quality but also in the image of the company.
Through these tools, we expect to reduce reworks, non-compliance quality, improve the profitability of the project and reduce the number of post-sale observations to achieve customer satisfaction in Precursores case study.
Finally, it is expected that in this work a better approach to multi-family project management will be achieved and it will serve as a starting point for building companies and professionals to achieve their objectives and surpassing the expectations of their clients. / Tesis

Optimering av orderstorlek ur ett kostnads- och produktivitetsperspektiv : en kvantitativ fallstudie på Zoégas i Helsingborg / Optimizing order quantity considering costs and productivity : a quantitative case study at Zoégas in HelsingborgAdolfsson, Rasmus, Hannercrantz, André January 2019 (has links)
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate optimal order quantities at the coffee producer Zoéga’s packaging lines in Helsingborg. The company is currently unaware of how order quantities affect their production; with regards to productivity as well as setup- and holding costs. With a long-term vision of incorporating “pull planning”, the case company also needs to evaluate the capabilities of their current production system. The case study mainly addresses two areas; one comparing historical productivity in relation to order quantity, and one determining optimal order quantity with the scheduling-tool known as “Economic lot scheduling problem”. One of the packaging lines results in a classic case of “Basic period approach”, a problem frequently reviewed in ELSP-literature. The other lines have sequence dependent setup times, which required a more complex model. The primarily data collection has been from internal production- and management systems. The ELSP-results generated optimal order quantities and production schedules for all packaging lines. The study also found statistically significant correlations between order quantity and productivity for Zoéga’s. These correlations compiled upper and lower limits for the most productive order quantities; where most of the ELSP-quantities placed inside these limits. Finally, the study shows that by implementing these suggestions, Zoéga’s could speed up their product turnover and be better prepared for “pull planning” implementation in the future.
