The aim of this thesis was to analyze the current situation in the quality management system and disclosure of reserves selected company. Then based on the findings outlined measures to improve the quality management system. After the analyzes, it was found that the introduction of a quality management system according to ČSN EN ISO 9001 is a set and treated very well. The Company complies in most cases, rules, standards, guidelines, which presents the standard. In manufacturing and other parts of the organizational structure there are no problems related to the quality of manufactured products.

My diploma thesis is focused on quality management system according to ISO standards. The aim of my diploma thesis is to evaluate current quality management system in selected organization and to suggest steps needed for recertification according to ISO 9001:2015. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. In theoretical part, there are defined basic terms such as: quality, history of quality, principles, concept of quality management, ISO standard 9001:2008 and ISO standard 9001:2015. In practical part, there is description of the organization and evaluation of current quality management system, that the organization already has certified according to ISO standard 9001:2008. The work is also dealing with the steps that are needed in order to recertify the organization according to ISO standard 9001:2015.

For this work a firm called ČSAD JIHOTRANS a. s., which provides transport services and holds certified norms ČSN EN ISO 9001, ČSN EN ISO 14001 a ČSN EN ISO 22000, was chosen. The goal of this thesis was to analyse the quality management system in the company with specialisation on ?regular and irregular transport of passengers?, to compare constituent conceptions of quality management and to suggest potential changes. In the main part a research in the chosen company is described. This research is aimed on an analysis of costs related to quality, the development of reclamations, a questionnaire examination for an evaluation of customer satisfaction, the efficiency of the process ?regular and irregular transport of passengers? and a comparison of constituent conceptions of quality management.

The aim of this Graduation Theses is to analyze the quality system in a specified Silon Company Ltd. Another aim is to define an evaluation methods and to verify new possibilities in approach to quality management systems in the mentioned company. The quality system in Silon Company Ltd. is created so, it meets ISO 9001:2008 in all its departments which belongs to quality system as well as it meets ISO/TS 16 949:2002 in compound division and centrally provided activities. The EMS system includes the whole company and it is created in order to meet ISO 14001:2004. It could be stated that Silon Company Ltd. has no big insufficiencies in quality management as well as in general company management. Integrated system, new approach to progressive quality improvement {--} Kaizen, FTA procedure, may be recommended to company.

Estruturas pré-moldadas de concreto para edifícios de múltiplos pavimentos de pequena altura: uma análise crítica / Precast concrete structures for multi-storey and low height buildings: a critical analysis

Este trabalho apresenta uma abordagem generalista das estruturas pré-moldadas de concreto nos edifícios de pequena altura (até 12 m), excluídos os galpões. É analisada a questão da qualidade na produção dessas estruturas sob as recomendações da série ISO 9000. São analisados os tópicos mais relevantes para a elaboração dos projetos dessas estruturas. Um estudo de caso escolhido ilustra as peculiaridades no desenvolvimento do projeto de estrutura pré-moldada nesta categoria. As conclusões obtidas retratam a quebra de alguns paradigmas brasileiros para o emprego das estruturas pré-moldadas: a) A qualidade das estruturas de concreto pode ser controlada por um sistema de gestão da qualidade internacionalmente reconhecido e empregado nos mais diferentes processos de produção de bens e serviços. b) Os índices técnico-econômicos evidenciam que mesmo em uma estrutura com característica não modular e pequena área construída pode ser empregado o concreto pré-moldado. / This work presents a general focus on precast concrete structures for low height buildings (up to 12 meters) not including storage sheds. The work is an analysis of the question of production quality of such structures according to the recommendation of the serie \'ISO 9000\'. Also, the most relevant topics for the elaboration of the projects for the focused strutures are analysed. A study of a chosen case illustrates the peculiarity of the development of the project for the precast struture for the chosen category of buildings. The final conclusion of the study demonstrates a break for the brazilian paradigma on the use of the precast concrete structures: a) The quality of the precast concrete structures can be controlled by the same quality control system widely known worldwide and used for controlling quality of production of a wide range of products and services as well. b) The technical-economics rates are shown with sharp evidence that even a small and non-modular precast structure within a small construction area can be object of precast concrete.

The Development of a Quality Management System for a Service and Manufacturing Organization

South African Organizations are constantly searching for a perfect tool that may help them to effectively manage every aspect of their operations. While the search for this tool has proved to be fruitless for many organizations, various models have been implemented to ensure that organizations have control over their processes. However the consistency of good quality products and services still remain uncertain. The willingness of organizations wishing to choose a tool that ensures processes are in control with consistent products and services that ultimately fulfill customer requirements is a risk that currently faces South Africa. The ISO 9001:2008 Standard and the implementation of a Quality Management System has become the certification of assurance for organizations. The question however arises to whether Quality Management System has an effect on the organization processes and customer satisfaction? The Study considers two Organizations. A tangible product based Organization in the Civil Engineering field building roads and buildings (KPMMM Construction) and a more less tangible service based organization, specializing in Project Management (ISF Services). The study of understanding the current process controls and client satisfaction and whether the development and implementation of a Quality Management System is the solution for organizations to have greater control over their processes and in turn a more gratified client. The ISO 9001:2008 standard describes the basic activities that are required for a quality focused organization in developing and implementing a system to ensure product and service that satisfy customer needs and expectations. The requirements of the standard are such that they affect everyone in the organization. It has been identified from previous sources as mentioned by Anand, K. B.,based QMS of manufacturing environment. The role of the Head of Department in the professional development of educators

Undertaken from a distributed leadership theory perspective, this qualitative study attempts to gain understanding regarding how heads of department develop educators within the organisational context of different schools and departments. A Based on existing literature, a detailed discussion is provided on what professional development is, the conditions needed for effective professional development, professional development strategies, distributed leadership theory and the functioning of heads of department and subject departments within the current policy framework for professional development in South African Schools. Two fee-paying and two non-fee-paying schools were selected and interviews were conducted with heads of department from single subject (unitary) and multi-subject (federal or confederate) departments in each school. The data was transcribed, coded, inductively analysed and related to the research question(s). A full description and analysis of the data is provided. The findings confirm that with change being demanded from above and from outside schools, it cannot be ignored that heads of department are a key link between principals and the teachers in their classrooms. This supports the view that heads of department have formal responsibilities and accountabilities and that they wield a horizontal and a vertical influence. Koncepce managementu kvality a jejich aplikace v cestovním ruchu / Concepts of Quality Management and their application in Tourism

This thesis deals with quality management concepts and their applications in the field of tourism services. The first part defines the basic concepts of quality issues and deals with the approach to its management development. It includes specifics of quality management in the Czech Republic and relationship of quality and competitiveness at the national and corporate levels. The next part is devoted to presentation of the main methods and concepts of quality management, from the simplest historic instruments over the methodologies of planning, optimization, evaluation, analysis and prevention of risks to the indication of the main international standards and models for complex their achievement and control. It is always commented on their suitability and possible links to tourism services, which are listed and defined in the thesis in the context of the main theoretical approaches to quality and its management in the field of services. The analytical part is devoted to analysis of approaches to quality in tourism and specifics of the national service quality systems in developed European countries (Spain, Switzerland and Germany). Their evaluation and comparison with the state of quality management in tourism in the Czech Republic is executed. Subsequently the merits of implementing a quality management system according to ISO 9001 in the hotel business is analyzed and evaluated. Data from the project TLT Benchmark of consulting company KPMG Czech Republic for the period 2009-2011 and data of selected tourism organizations are used. The final part of the paper presents a model solution to the National quality system of tourism services in the Czech Republic. This is based on comparisons and analyzes and presents its main components, namely the national quality standard, brand quality, and institutional security systems. The proposed model is the author's own solution based on theoretical knowledge and long experience in the field of tourism and quality management.
