The thesis called "Analysis of the Remuneration System used in ČESKÁ POŠTA (Czech Post Office) with emphasis on Workers' Motivation" deals with an analysis of the existing remuneration system at greatest employer of the Czech Republic -- Česká pošta s. p. (Czech Postal Service, a state company). The thesis contains an elementary theoretical treatise on the employees' remuneration and motivation system issue with a focus on work motivation of employees. In the practical part hereof the present remuneration system at the Czech Postal Service has been analysed, and making use of the results of an empirical survey among a selected sample of the employees, the thesis has assessed the functionality and effectiveness of remuneration. In the final part, on the basis of all the ascertained facts the author has suggested some partial changes leading to a better efficaciousness of the remuneration system at Česká pošta s. p.

The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the overall remuneration system in the company Montela Ltd., and to recommend innovations that would improve the current system. In order to obtain information on the company's operations, a meeting was held with the executive manager of the company and a questionnaire survey was conducted among the company's employees. The results of the questionnaire survey showed a certain degree of dissatisfaction of employees with the amount of work done and its valuation in wages. As another shortage, the employees mentioned the amount of benefits they receive. The last problem that the questionnaire survey revealed was that employees would welcome a training in new technology. I would therefore propose the following innovations: the introduction of a meeting between the head manager and its subordinates, setting targets, evaluating and remunerating them on the basis of the objectives achieved over the past months. Introduce the benefit in the form of sick day and train employees in news of their field.

Systém odměňování a produktivita lidských zdrojů v podniku / The remuneration system and productivity of human resources in a company

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current system of remuneration and productivity of human resources in a company. Furthermore, measures are proposed to improve the current situation based on the data obtained. In the first part of the thesis, on the basis of secondary data, it defines the remuneration system, total reward and remuneration strategy. Then the thesis focuses on wage forms and employee benefits. The next section describes the factors affecting productivity, its types and measurements. In the last part it examines human resources management, defining its basic concepts, functions and strategies. Production plant called Mektec Manufacturing Corporation Europe CZ s.r.o. operating in České Budějovice has been selected for the processing of the second part. At first there is the characterisation of the company in general. Furthermore, the thesis pays attention to the applied remuneration system and internal productivity measurement. The necessary information was obtained on the website and personal consultation with the company's employees. Subsequently, an analysis of work productivity in the period from 2012 to 2017 is performed using formulas based on value added and revenues of products and services. The next part deals with the relationship of the development of personal and total costs and the comparison of labor productivity development with the growth rate of personnel costs. Finally, based on the analysis of the labor productivity and the actual remuneration model recommendations have been articulated suggesting how to develop an improved remuneration model.

[pt] A Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) possui diversas minas e usinas espalhadas pelo país. Para realizar esta dissertação foi escolhida a Mina de Urucum localizada em Corumbá - M.S. A escolha desta unidade se deve a particularidades que esta unidade possui como: lavra de superfície de ferro e subterrânea de Manganês, escoamento de produtos acabados pelos modais: rodofluvial, ferro-fluvial ou ferroviário, entre outras. Para a movimentação interna da mina são utilizados equipamentos como caminhões basculantes com sistema especial de frenagem, pás-carregadeiras, retroescavadeiras, escavadeiras de esteira entre outros equipamentos necessários à lavra de minérios e à movimentação de materiais. Estes equipamentos não são próprios, sendo necessária sua contratação. Neste trabalho será demonstrado a atual forma de contratação e pagamento e uma sugestão para a nova forma de contratação e remuneração às contratadas. / [en] Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) owns several mines and units throughout the country. The Urucum Mine Unit, located in Corumbá - MS, was chosen for this study for several particularities: it has an open-cast iron ore mine, an underground manganese mine, outbound of final products by multimodal transport such as road, railway and the Paraguay River. Internal logistics involves equipment such as trucks with special brake system, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, excavators, etc..., which are necessary for mining operations and material movement. As CVRD does not own this equipment, it is necessary to contract the service. The intention of this study is to show how the service companies are currently contracted, how their services are paid, and suggests a new method for contracting and remuneration.

This thesis is aimed on fringe benefits which are very popular part of employee's remuneration these days. The supply of benefits is very wide and it depends on the employer what he chooses. It is important to take into consideration what influence the benefits have on employees' satisfaction and what are their tax impacts. The objective of this thesis is to consider all mentioned aspects and to analyse the system of fringe benefits in the company Murr CZ s.r.o. For analysis of the present employee's satisfaction with the system, questionnaire method was used. Then some changes were recommended which could improve the benefit system regarding satisfaction and also regarding tax impacts. The employees could be divided into two groups according their position in the company. First one would be management and the second one would be team leaders and workers. Following this concept the company could adapt benefits with regard to specifics of each group. The company should think over the new benefits including pension insurance contribution and the alternative between transport allowances and culture or sport vouchers.
