[pt] O propósito desta pesquisa é qualificar O Livro Vermelho de C. G. Jung como obra de arte. Para isso buscou-se primeiramente quais os conceitos e critérios de validação do livro como tal. Circunscritas as espécies que transitam nessa categoria – livros raros e livros de artista – contemplamos, por meio de um percurso histórico pela história do livro, suas especificidades, pressupostos e aproximações, pois, se por um lado, semelhante aos manuscritos medievais iluminados, tal publicação revigora o livro como obra de arte, por outro lado o processo de criação da obra rompe com o paradigma da feitura do livro através de um processo colaborativo e especializado em vigor desde aquela época, no qual, tradicionalmente, o autor escreve textos, não produz livros. Essa mudança de paradigma vem a ser um dos principais pressupostos da categoria que recoloca na história o livro como obra de arte por meio do campo do livro de artista – em seu sentido lato –, segundo o qual o autor não apenas escreve, mas faz o livro, e estuda-se a si mesmo no processo, então como circunscrevê-lo? Com isso esperamos atingir o objetivo subjacente ao tema central – resgatar o valor cultural e artístico do livro, ressaltando o potencial plástico e criativo que ele oferece. / [en] The purpose of this research is to qualify The Red Book of C.G. Jung as a work of art. For this, we first sought what concepts and validation criteria of the book as such. Circumscribed the species that pass through this category – rare books and artist books – we contemplate, through a historical journey, through the history of the book, its specificities, assumptions and approximations, because, if on the one hand, similar to the illuminated medieval manuscripts, such publication reinvigorates the book as a work of art, on the other hand, the process of creation of the work breaks with the paradigm of book making through a collaborative and specialized process in force since that time, in which, traditionally, the author writes texts, does not produce books. This paradigm shift is one of the main assumptions of the category that relocates in history the book as a work of art through the field of the artist s book – in its broad sense – according to which the author not only writes, but makes the book, and is studied to himself in the process, so how to circumscribe it? With this we hope to achieve the objective underlying the central theme – to rescue the cultural and artistic value of the book, highlighting the plastic and creative potential it offers.

В данной работе изучены принципы работы издательств с библиофилами. Объект настоящей магистерской диссертации – деятельность издательств, специализирующихся на издании книг для библиофилов («Вита Нова» и «Редкая книга»). Предмет – взаимодействие указанных издательств с библиофилами. Магистерская диссертация «Принципы взаимодействия издательств с библиофилами» состоит из введения, трех глав, заключения, приложения и списка использованных источников, который состоит из 63 наименований. В первой главе проводится обзор литературы по теме исследования. Раскрывается понятие «библиофил», рассматривается история этой социальной группы книголюбов. Отмечается, что библиофилия начинает складываться в Древней Руси, а в современный период выделяются особые библиофильские организации, тесно сотрудничающие с книжными издательствами. Во второй главе рассматривается деятельность, нацеленная на взаимодействие с библиофильскими организациями, таких российских издательств, как «Вита Нова» и «Редкая книга», специально созданными для удовлетворения потребностей библиофилов. В третьей главе на основе изучения деятельности издательств сформулированы основные принципы их работы с библиофилами. / This paper examines the principles of bibliophile publishing. The object of this master's thesis is the activities of publishing houses specializing in the publication of books for bibliophiles (“Vita Nova” and “Rare Book”). The subject is the interaction of these publishing houses with bibliophiles. The master's thesis “Principles of interaction between publishing houses and bibliophiles” consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, appendices and a list of used sources, consisting of 63 titles. The first chapter reviews the literature on the research topic. The concept of “bibliophile” is revealed, the history of this social group of book lovers is examined. It is noted that bibliophilia begins to take shape in Ancient Rus', and in the modern period, special bibliophile organizations have emerged that work closely with book publishing houses. The second chapter examines activities aimed at interaction with bibliophile organizations, such Russian publishing houses as Vita Nova and Rare Book, specially created to meet the needs of bibliophiles. In the third chapter, based on a study of the activities of publishing houses, the basic principles of their work with bibliophiles are formulated.

The book, entitled Formulário Médico, was written in 1703 by Jesuits. It is a manuscript, composed of 225 pages, that describes medical prescriptions for the cure of various diseases through the use of flora and fauna found in locations where the Jesuits had missions. In addition to tracing the biography of this book, investigating its trajectory in the Fiocruz collection, our research examined how Formulário Médico was handled in the collection during decades. By dealing with this aspect, we hope to make significant contributions to the realization of the importance and responsibility of institutions which have collections such as this one regarding the appropriate manner of preserving works like this manuscript for the future. / O objeto desta pesquisa é um livro raro e especial, integrante da Biblioteca de Obras Raras da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz). Trata-se do Formulário Médico, escrito em 1703 por jesuítas. Esse livro é um manuscrito, composto por 225 páginas, nas quais estão descritas receitas médicas para a cura de diversas doenças, através da utilização da fauna e da flora dos locais onde as missões jesuíticas se instalaram. Além de traçar uma biografia dessa obra, investigando sua trajetória no acervo da Fiocruz, a pesquisa também analisou a forma como o Formulário Médico foi tratado no acervo ao longo de décadas. Ao abordar também esse aspecto, esperamos contribuir significativamente para as reflexões sobre a responsabilidade das instituições de guarda, em geral, no que diz respeito à forma e à preservação de tais obras para o futuro.
