Estudo das estratégias de persuasão no discurso religioso por meio da interdiscursividade e da intertextualidade. A partir de uma visão semiótico-discursiva, estabelece-se uma forma de leitura dos textos religiosos com base na teoria da iconicidade verbal de Darcilia Simões, combinada com a Análise de Discurso, de linha francesa, apoiada nos estudos de Eni Orlandi, sobre as condições de produção textual. Recorre-se aos estudos desenvolvidos pelas ciências sociais, psicanálise e filosofia da linguagem para efetivar uma forma diferenciada de interpretação dos textos religiosos, com foco no discurso neopentecostal, representado, neste trabalho, por textos de autoria do líder da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus IURD o Bispo Edir Macedo. A análise atesta que existe uma tendência à leitura monossêmica induzida pelo enunciador sobre a interpretação das Escrituras Sagradas que, neste caso são os pastores da IURD, descartando qualquer possibilidade de contestação por parte do leitor/ouvinte (o fiel, ou potencial fiel), o que caracteriza a ilusão da reversibilidade de papéis imposta pelos discursos autoritários / Study of the persuasive strategies in the religious speech through the interdiscoursivity and intertextuality. From a semiotic-discoursive vision, a way of reading religious texts is established based on the Darcilia Simões theory of verbal iconicity, combined with the Discourse Analysis, of French orientation, supported upon studies of Eni Orlandi on the conditions of textual production. Support is sought on studies developed by the social sciences, psychology and philosophy of language to accomplish a different way of interpretation of religious texts, with focus on neopentecostal speech, represented in this work, the leader of the Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus IURD - Bishop Edir Macedo. The analysis demonstrates a tendency to monosemous reading induced by holding the power over the interpretation of the Holy Scripture by the IURD pastors, discarding any possibility of challenging from the reader/listener (believer or potential believer), which characterizes the illusion of role reversibility imposed by the authoritarian speeches
