DŮM NA ÚPATÍ - MĚSTSKÝ DŮM V HISTORICKÉM CENTRU BRNA / HOUSE ON THE FOOTHILL - TOWN HOUSE IN THE HISTORICAL CENTRE

Maňáková, Alena January 2013 (has links)
Entering this thesis is to design a multifunctional urban / residential building in the complex topographical situation foot street bakery. The aim was to understand the functioning of the organism, its development potential and current problems. Solved plot is located in the heart of Old Brno at the intersection of Pekařská and Anenské. The concept of development should be based on a triangular plot, and its position in relation to the nearby center. The concept of functional layout must respect the basic operational and functional requirements, especially sunlight residential space and solving noise pollution. The aim of this proposal is viable urban area and a functional recovery, which evaluates and develops the character entered. Urban and architectural concept development triangular tip should reflect and complement the character of the site appropriately and its existing buildings.

Совершенствование наружных стен, выполняемых из газозолобетонных блоков, в многоэтажных каркасных жилых домах : магистерская диссертация / Improvement of external walls made of aerated concrete blocks in multi-storey frame residential buildings

Усьянцев, С. Д., Usyantsev, S. D. January 2021 (has links)
Present work is devoted to the study of multilayer external enclosing structures of external walls of multi-storey residential frame buildings. In modern construction, such structures are usually made on the basis of aerated concrete blocks. The use of such solutions is justified due to its thermal efficiency. However, the question of the rationality of using existing solutions for wall fences remains debatable, since the need to install several layers of various structural materials leads to an increase in the complexity of construction. In addition, multilayer solutions for the outer walls of buildings place increased requirements for the quality of in place works and overall construction technical quality to ensure the proper action of joints consisted of several layers with various physical parameters, and sometimes such solutions reduce the operational reliability of the wall enclosure, which, unfortunately, often leads to accidents and collapse of structures. The main issue solved in the study is to find the least labor-intensive version of the enclosing structure, which would have characteristics comparable to existing walls, and also reduce the likelihood of errors in the construction of external walls, which can lead to structural failures.

Proactive Adaptability : Designing an adjustable building system out of wood with the future in mind

Proykina, Lidia January 2023 (has links)
Our urban environment is in constant flux, cities are ever-changing ecosystems that expand, contract, evolve & adapt. However, the way that we have been building our environment has seldom reflected that on the building scale. New neighbourhoods emerge, buildings are torn down and new ones replace them, but in the world that we live today where resources are becoming more scarce and global climate change is upon us, it is time to rethink how we design buildings today with the future in mind. My project’s goal is to design a wood construction system & building, with a focus on enabling mobility, adaptability, reuse, easy assemblage & disassemble, while fostering a sense of permanence so the user feels rooted at home. While concrete has allowed us to push the limits of what we can build, I believe that wood construction R & D has gotten far enough to have similar qualities but store carbon at the same time as being a renewable resource if managed & used responsibly. In my project, I used the method of prefabricating & separating each system on its own layer to allow for longevity, easy replacement & flexibility.

Bytový dům v Prostějově / Residential building in Prostějov

Vykopal, Jan January 2020 (has links)
This thesis summarizes a project of new residential building in Prostejov. The goal of the thesis was to create documentation for the project´s design and implementation. The building consists of four floors above the ground, two underground floors and a flat roof. The building is rectangular shaped with a rebound of 4th floor above the ground. The structural system of the building is monolitic reinforced concrete system, with combined system in 4th floor. The thesis includes the preparatory and study reports, architectural and construction solutions, fire-safety of building and equipment solutions.

Efektivní oceňování škod na stavebních objektech zasažených povodní / Effective evaluation of losses to buildings affected by flood

Tuscher, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
This doctoral thesis deals with the valuation of damage to buildings affected by floods. In its individual parts, it researches floods as a risk, focuses on the damage caused by this natural phenomenon and examines the methods used to assess the damages caused by floods. With the beginnings of human settlement, the vicinity of rivers has been inhabited for the many befits that watercourses bring. However, there are many dangers associated with this, especially the ones associated with the spillage of riverbeds – with floods. This phenomenon causes considerable damage to property, the environment or human health and lives. There are many measures to eliminate the risk of flooding, or at least mitigate its effects. This work further researches the mitigating of impacts – it examines the methods of determining the amount of damage to buildings caused by floods, looks for factors and parameters influencing the amount of damage and focuses on streamlining these methods. The aim of the thesis is to find a suitable methodology/model that can automate the calculation of the amount of damage, or in other words, to find a quick and at the same time sufficiently accurate solution to this problem. The main output of the thesis is the equation of the damage curve and a model for the amount of damage calculation based on the principle of damage curves using the hybrid genetic algorithm. Another output is a practical tool that works on the basis of the said algorithm and automatically calculates the amount of damage to the building when entering very basic information about the damaged object.

Centrum chytré čtvrti Špitálka / Smart District Špitalka

Pelčák, Vlastimil January 2021 (has links)
This thesis deals with an architectural case study of the urban block in the Svitava industrial zone bordered by the Svitava River in the east, Ring Road in the west, Milady Horákové Street in the north and Zvonařka Street in the south. Špitálka Smart City has been designed to be in this area. The thesis is modelled on the Špitálka Smart City urban study, that was the outcome of the pre-thesis seminar in the winter term 2020/21. The urban study objective was the urban renewal of the Brno teplárny (heating plant) area and its surroundings as well as a design of a new urban boulevard. The thesis focuses on a design of a selected urban block in the Smart City Špitálka. This mixed-use development provides commercial, administrative and residential functions. The block is divided into two parts; either part consists of three sections. Two underground storeys providing parking space and space for building services are intended for the whole block. The case study further develops only the section that is labeled Coworking offering six floors for coworking spaces. On the ground floor there are spaces for a café, commerce and also the main entry to the co-working offices. A sky-office and a venue for rent are located on the seventh floor. The venue can be used for a wide range of events from smaller conferences, through corporate meetings & teambuildings to private parties. Both the sky-office and the venue have access to the rooftop terrace. The design creates a modern office building concept in the former industrial zone.
