The diploma thesis on the topic "Current parental trends in education" reveals the latest educational trends in contemporary parents such as: Tiger Upbringing, Contact Parenting, Education through non-education or Education without Losers. For each type of education, the basic elements and pillars on which upbringing is based are characterized. At the same time the diploma thesis focuses on rewards and punishments in education, where it describes the newly emerging educational currents - upbringing without punishments and upbringing without punishments and rewards. It also finds out the difference between motivation and manipulation in education and how these two educational elements work. The last point in the theoretical part is to determine the possible reasons why some current parents choose a different type of upbringing than the one they were used to in childhood. In the practical part a questionnaire survey was chosen, which educational style is the most preferred by our selected parents. It also focused on the relationship between original and contemporary upbringing, whether there is any connection between the upbringing experienced by parents in childhood and then the upbringing they now apply to their children. The aim of the diploma thesis "Media image of culture in the weekly Respekt and Reflex" is to use qualitative and quantitative research to describe the attitude towards culture and its relationship in the social news weekly magazines Respekt and Reflex. The theoretical part of this work is devoted to the description of the influences on the production of cultural journalism. It deals with the interpretative conception of culture, from the anthropological conception, through the conception of the Frankfurt and Birmingham schools to contemporary approaches to the attitude towards culture and the creative industries. All this is set in the context of the study of media and mass media, which is also influencing the cultural production. The results of the analytical part then present the concept of culture based on the description of editorial approaches to cultural topics and the analysis of the contents of the stated weekly magazines. In the end of the work the theoretical knowledge is connected with the results of research. Människor som lever i krig påverkas av våld, hot, svält och flykt vilket i förlängningen kan påverka deras människosyn. Uppsatsen undersöker hur tre karaktärer i Chimamanda Ngozi Adichies roman En halv gul sol påverkas, vad gäller människosyn, av att leva i Biafrakriget. Fokus för studien är självrespekt och respekt för andra, baserat i teorier om respekt för alla människors lika värde. De tre karaktärerna har olika utgångspunkter vad gäller självrespekt och respekt för andra och påverkas även på olika vis av kriget.

The aim of the thesis was to find out how domestic violence was framed in the Czech printed media. The analysis was based on the findings of Robert Entman, who defined framing as selection and emphasising of certain attributes in the media (Entman, 1993). The work brought about a theoretical introduction into the concept of framing which became a part of the media studies in the last twenty years and which currently deals with all phases of media text origination and interpretation. The framing method was applied on a chosen topic of domestic violence, in connection with the new law on protection of abused people, which came into effect on January 1, 2007. Five weeklies (Blesk pro ženy, Instinkt, Květy, Reflex, Respekt) were selected for analysis and the monitored period of one calendar year from January 1, 2007, to January 1, 2008, was set. In the practical part, a qualitative analysis was carried out, determining the frames and research hypotheses for further interpretation of framing of given topic. Subsequent quantitative analysis studied the methods of article framing by individual magazines and eventual differences in the approach to this topic from the viewpoint of prevailing stereotypes associated with domestic violence. Title: Fulfilling the principles of fair play tennis with players from age categories under 12 and 14 Objectives: The goal was to implement and evaluate the interview focused on compliance with the principles of fair play among tennis players in the age categories under 12 and 14. The research was based on the findings of randomly selected match participants made in the context of competition mixed tennis teams to provide insight into the present situation of fair play in these age categories, to identify problematic issues and provide recommendations for practice. Methods: The research method was a structured interview containing questions enclosed or semi-enclosed. Results: The object of the research were players of tennis in ages under 12 and under 14 born in 2003 - 2005, respectively 2001 - 2002. The results of the two-month research showed that the most serious transgressions, which are contrary to the principles of fair play, include break of game rules and inappropriate behavior. Failure to shake hand with an opponent and expressions of superiority over weaker opponents occurred to a lesser extent. Psykisk ohälsa blir allt vanligare i dagens samhälle, framför allt hos unga. I vissa fall kan sjukdomen leda till att personen blir en fara för sig själv eller för andra. Att vårda personen under lagen om psykiatrisk tvångsvård (LPT) kan då bli nödvändigt. Att som människa vårdas ofrivilligt kan resultera i många olika känslor, positiva som negativa. Det kan medföra känslan av att inte bli respekterad samt upplevelsen av bristande kontroll. Med detta menas att de inte får chansen att delta i sin egen vård och att de inte får den information de önskar för att uppleva känslan av att känna sig trygg. Människor kan också uppleva positiva känslor såsom lindrat lidande och att känna sig respekterade. Betydelsen av relationen till vårdpersonalen har visat sig ha en stor inverkan på patienternas välmående. Upplevelsen av positiva känslor kan komma från att de känner sig sedda och lyssnade på av personalen, att dem visar hänsyn, ser patienterna som enskilda individer och bryr sig om deras mående. Utifrån detta har litteraturstudiens resultat mynnat ut i fem teman. Dessa är “upplevelsen av att tappa kontrollen”, “bristande information”, “att lindra lidande”, “känslan av att bli respekterad/inte respekterad” samt “betydelsen av relationen till vårdpersonalen”. Att vårdas under tvång kan medföra upplevelsen av att bli utlämnad samt inkräktande på integriteten. Därför är det viktigt att vården utförs inom strikta begränsningar. Att patienterna ska få en god vård och uppleva välbefinnande är vårdens centrala punkt och mål. Vetskap kring patientens upplevelser kan hjälpa personalen att utveckla sitt arbete och förstå vikten av att vara professionell gentemot patienterna i vårdrelationen. Att ta reda på patientens upplevelse av att tvångsvårdas är därför en viktig ståndpunkt i utvecklingen av vården. / Program: Sjuksköterskeutbildning

Bakgrund, problemformulering: Intresset för patientintegritet har uppstått under arbete i vården. Hur har patientintegritet hanterats, hur avdelningar och vi själva handlat? Var det rätt eller fel? Integritet är ett komplext begrepp, som framhävs i sjukvården från olika håll; lagar, föreskrifter och omvårdnadsteoretiska visioner. De olika parterna i sjukvården kan ha sina olika uppfattningar om och förhålla sig olika till integritet och till vad som krävs för att beakta/värna om/tillfredsställa patientens integritet. För att inte riskera att trampa på patienten, som ju är ”huvudpersonen”, är det viktigt att veta hur just patienten upplever integritet. Syfte: Att beskriva patientens upplevelse av integritet i vården. Metod: Litteraturstudie grundat på sju vårdvetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna valdes och analyserades med Evans syntes process metod (Evans, 2003) och Fribergs beskrivning av denna modell (Friberg, 2006) som grund. Artiklarna söktes i databaser via biblioteket vid Högskolan i Borås. Artiklarna valdes ur följande databaser: Blackwell Synergy, fyra artiklar CINAHL, tre artiklar. Sökorden som användes var: Integrity, Patient Integrity, Nursing, Caring, Dignity, Experience och kombinationer av dessa. Resultat: Resultatet fördelades i två teman med fyra underteman var: Tema 1: Att bli bekräftad som människa med underteman avskildhet, individuella behov, självkänsla och kommunikationsklimat. Tema 2: Att få vara delaktig, underteman förtroende, samarbete, beroende och medkänsla. Diskussion: Samstämmigheten i resultaten var stor, fast med så begränsat material är det inte läge att dra några långtgående slutsatser. Dock bör resultatet vara användbart och framför allt tänkvärt. <p>Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka och belysa vad som motiverar vissa killar till att tillämpa våld som problemlösning i deras vardag utifrån dessa killars egna förståelse för sina våldshandlingar. För att ge en ökad förståelse för detta har en narrativ intervjumetod använts med livsberättelser som utgångspunkt. För att belysa detta ämne har vi använt oss av maktlöshetsteorin där bemästring av vanmakt ingår. Våra resultat visar på att dessa unga män sökte att genom våldshandlingar bemästra sin vardag genom att skaffa sig position inom gänget och ett rykte om att vara farlig. Att föreställningen om ”respekt” handlade om att ingjuta rädsla hos andra och hur detta tillsammans med bemästring blev en motivator för våldet. Strävan efter kickupplevelser genom våld var också en viktig motivator för våld. Deras sociala nätverk som i huvudsakligen bestod av kamratgänget hade en stor betydelse för anammandet av våldsamma attityder och föreställningar samt för utvecklandet av en överdriven mansroll vilken bidrog till våld. Bruket av alkohol var en del av socialiseringsprocessen i kamratgänget och alkoholintag var vanligt förekommande i samband med våldshandlingar. Problematiska familjeförhållanden bidrog till upplevelse av vanmakt vilken bemästrades med våld. Förslag på vidare forskning är att undersöka vilka mekanismer som ligger bakom till att killar söker bekräftelse och självförverkligande på destruktivasätt.</p>
