Neuroinformatika: metody kalibrace v multicentrické MR studii / Neuroinformatics: calibration methods in multicentric MR studies

Kovalčík, Tomáš January 2010 (has links)
Work deals with methods of calibration of multi-center study of magnetic resonance imaging. Magnetic resonance is the phenomenon of the substance in a magnetic field of induction B0 delivers energy in the form of RF pulse with the Larmor frequency and thus to excite particles to higher energy levels. Calibration can be performed using the distinctive and homogeneous RF phantoms. Furthermore, we can perform calibration using image registration. To calibrate the images by registering the work described in the classical linear (affine) and nonlinear. Listed below are the simulators, which are also useful for modeling various artifacts.

Segmentace ledvin z renální perfúzní MR sekvence obrazů / Segmentation of the kidney from the renal perfusion MR image sequences

Jína, Miroslav January 2013 (has links)
This master’s thesis deals with kidney segmentation in perfusion magnetic resonance image sequences. Kidney segmentation is carry out by a few methods such as regionbased techniques, deformable models, specimen-based methods, edge-oriented methods etc. The universal algorithm for patient kidney segmentation still does not exist. Proposed method is an active contour Snake, which is created in programming environment MatLab. Final contours are quantitatively and visually compared to manual kidney segmentation.

Braggovy mřížky v optických vláknech / Bragg gratings in optical fibers

Urban, František January 2014 (has links)
Thesis focuses on the principles and properties of the tilted Bragg fiber gratings. Two models of the principal cladding mode behaviour are proposed and ther respective results compared with experimental data. The experimental setup for the preparation of the tilted gratings is described. The thesis shows the evaluation of the gratings parameters for the set of prepared gratings. Application of the tilted gratings in the sensors is discussed

Využití magnetické rezonance srdce pro posouzení patofyziologie dilatační kardiomyopatie. / Use of cardiovascular magnetic resonance for evaluation of pathophysiollogy in dilated cardiomyopathy.

Šramko, Marek January 2015 (has links)
Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is the second leading cause of heart failure. The pathophysiology in DCM is still poorly understood, partly because of currently limited research tools. We investigated whether cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR), using novel imaging techniques, could be used for in vivo assessment of some key pathophysiological mechanisms related to DCM. In addition, we evaluated whether the pathological findings on CMR would predict clinically relevant functional and morphological improvement of the left ventricular (LV) function - the LV reverse remodeling (LVRR). CMR together with endomyocardial biopsy, echocardiography, cardiopulmonary exercise testing and a thorough assessment of cardiac biomarkers was performed in 44 patients with new-onset DCM (<6 months of duration). The imaging was repeated after 12 months of clinical follow-up. Endomyocardial biopsy revealed myocardial inflammation in 34 % of the patients. LVRR at 12 months occurred in 45 % of the patients. Presence of late gadolinium enhancement (LGE) in the left ventricle was a sensitive but unspecific sign of myocardial inflammation because it was also a feature of hemodynamic stress related to the heart failure. The baseline extent of LGE was an independent predictor of future LVRR and also a predictor of adverse clinical...

Identifikace mozkových oblastí při anticipaci v tenise / Identification of brain areas in anticipation during tennis

Gavendová, Karolína January 2021 (has links)
Title: Identification of brain areas in anticipation during tennis Objectives: The main aim of diploma theses is identification of brain areas responsible for anticipation and making decision during watching tennis rallies at tennis players by functional magnetic resonance. Methods: The research group consists of 10-12 competitive tennis players aged 18-28. The research takes place at the hospital in Motol. Before the examination itself, the probands are instructed on the course and conditions of testing. Testing consists of examining the brain to see if the proband is healthy, testing anticipation with a video of tennis rallies followed by a resting state phase to evaluate regional interactions. The video consists of 6 blocks separated by a static image lasting 20 s. Each block contains 6 videos with tennis rallies. Each video lasts exactly 6 s, including 300 ms to stop the tennis rallies. The tennis rallies are stopped when the ball is over the tennis net or on the player's racket. The task of the proband is to monitor the tennis rallies and after stopping to determine whether the subsequent stroke will fly to the left or right side of the tennis court, or to the center. The target data are formed from functional magnetic resonance images, probands' responses to individual rallies, and response...

Hodnocení funkce respiračních svalů a posturální stability bederní páteře měřené pomocí dynamické magnetické rezonance / Assessment of respiratory muscle function and postural stability in lumbar spine using dynamic MRI

Balková, Veronika January 2010 (has links)
The aim oftbe work was to get concrete and objective view of the movement of defined parts in lumbar spine during postural task. The other goal was to measure respiratory muscle strenght a find if there was a connection between measured parameters. 35 subjects with chronic low back pain and 25 asymptomatic subjects underwent dynamic MRl examination and measurement of maximal mouth pressures. This study showed lower valu es of Pimax and displacement of vertebra Ll in group of patients. AIso showed correlation between Pimax and Ll dispalcement, sacrum displacement and the sacral slope difference during postural task in group of patients. No significant correlations in control group were found. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Olšinová, Tereza January 2015 (has links)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to build up a methodology of speech techniques for a specific class which is covered in the topic "Prehistory". In the theoretical part I am engaged in particular teaching stages of speech technique such as attitude, respiration, vibration, effort of muscles in solar plexus area and enunciation. I mention its teaching problems and differences of teaching of individual speech techniques lectors. In the practical part of the theses I introduce my own methodology of particular lessons which concur and I cap it with a phonetic (voice) warm-up. I have taught these lessons at grade 3 of a primary school and I have reflected them.

Studium komplexů lanthanoidů pomocí spektroskopických metod / Studies of Lanthanide Complexes by a Combination of Spectroscopic Methods

Krupová, Monika January 2014 (has links)
Studies of Lanthanide Complexes by a Combination of Spectroscopic Methods Monika Krupová (Department of Physical and Macromoecular Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague) Since conventional structural analysis offers rather limited means for the chirality detection, a series of lanthanide tris-(β-diketonates) are investigated as effective receptors for a better chirality sensing in biomolecular substrates. These lanthanide complexes containing β-diketonate ligands are electrically neutral; they can further coordinate with various small organic molecules such as chiral alcohols, amino alcohols or amino acids in organic solvents and produce a strong chiral signal. Previously, a resonance in Raman scattering was observed in the studied systems due to the correspondence of europium electronic transition energy to the laser excitation wavelength, about a 100-fold signal enhancement if compared to non-resonant vibrational ROA was observed. This enabled shorter detection times as well as lower sample concentrations. In the current work, interaction of the Eu(FOD) complex with (R)- and (S)- enantiomer of 1-phenylethanol in n-hexane was studied using IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and Raman optical activity (ROA), UV-Vis spectroscopy and ultraviolet circular dichroism (UVCD).
