Orientador: Gustavo José de Toledo Pedroso / Banca: Raquel Santos Sant'Ana / Banca: Luciana Maria Cavalcante Melo / Resumo: Este estudo buscou realizar um debate sobre o preconceito ao migrante no âmbito do Serviço Social a partir da percepção e prática profissional do assistente social dos municípios de Guariba-SP e Serrana-SP, nesse sentido procurou-se analisar através de entrevistas com sete assistentes sociais se o preconceito ao migrante é apreendido pelas profissionais, se ele é reproduzido pelas sujeitas de pesquisa e se seus espaços ocupacionais são utilizados para problematizar essa forma de preconceito de modo a colaborar com o seu enfrentamento. A fim de alcançarmos um olhar ampliado sobre o debate do preconceito no Serviço Social e compreendermos como é realizada a abordagem teórica sobre essa problemática foi realizada ainda a análise dos estudos que abordam o preconceito através das duas principais revistas da categoria profissional, Serviço Social & Sociedade e Temporalis, no período compreendido entre os anos de 2004 e 2014, procurando verificar se o preconceito ao migrante é presente nas publicações teóricas do Serviço Social, se é significativa a produção sobre as diversas manifestações de preconceito, se há interlocução com o Serviço Social e quais teorias iluminam as análises. (Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: This study sought to carry out a debate about the prejudice to the migrant in the scope of Social Work based on the perception and professional practice of the social worker of the municipalities of Guariba-SP and Serrana-SP, in this sense sought to analyze through interviews with seven social workers If the prejudice of the migrant is apprehended by the professionals, if it is reproduced by the subjects of research and if their occupational spaces are used to problematize this form of prejudice in order to collaborate with their confrontation. In order to reach a magnified look on prejudgment the debate on Social Service and understand how the theoretical approach is made on this issue has not yet performed an analysis of studies that address the prejudice by the two main magazines of the professional category, Serviço Social & Sociedade and Temporalis in the period between the years 2004 and 2014, seeking to ascertain whether the prejudgment to the migrant is present in theoretical publications of Social Work, if significant production on the various manifestations of prejudgment, if there is dialogue with the Social Service and theories which illuminate the analysis. During the construction of this work we care to address the relationship of Social Work with the category prejudgment from all point of view because we believe not only that prejudgment against the migrant is an important issue to be appropriate, but in addition, various manifestations of prejudgment that permeate society and, consequently, also the work of the social worker. Utilizo os conceitos de Habitus de Pierre Bourdieu e de Experiência de Edward Thompson para compreender tanto as disposições sociais e culturais do grupo em questão bem como as subjetividades. Metodologicamente, utilizo algumas trajetórias para compreender como os jovens "canistas" interpretam a experiência dessas migrações na constituição de suas identidades e projetos de vida. Assim, ao abordar um dos muitos rostos da juventude rural, pretendendo contribuir para a compreensão da formação de suas identidades e do seu lugar na pauta das atuais políticas públicas. / In this work, I have analyzed the migration of the rural youth from the municipality of Tavares in the State of Paraiba to the sugar cane region in the Ribeirão Preto Region in the State of São Paulo. Three aspects are taken into consideration, first, the search for autonomy in the construction of youth and gender identities; second, the access to income as a possibility to gain consumptions goods and third, the invention and new meanings of the sociability and leisure spaces in the municipality by migrant youth known as canistas (name attributed to those who work in the sugar cane agriculture) I will use the concepts of Habitus from Pierre Bourdieu and Experience from Edward Thompson to understand both the social and cultural generative principies of the group and its subjectivities. Methodologically, I rely on some trajectories to understand the youth workers knows as canistas and to interpret the experience of the migration in me construction of identities and life projects. In this sense, I will look at one of the many faces of rural youth in order to understand the formation of their identities and position in the present public policies.
