Penzion s vinným sklípkem / Guest house with wine cellar

The aim of this diploma thesis is creating a construction documentation for a guest house with a wine cellar. The guest house is a three-storey building. A lounge, which is also meant to serve for ceremonious social gatherings, staff facilities and two accessible rooms are located on the ground floor. First floor consists of several two-bed rooms, one common kitchen and a smaller lounge for guests. Accommodation units for larger groups of guests can be found on the top floor. Vertical supports are made of Porotherm system, ceilings are made of filigree-like reinforced concrete slabs. Roofing of the building is designed as a saddle roof with clay tiles and load-bearing nailed timber trusses. The building is situated in moderate, almost flat terrain. The wine cellar building consists of an underground cellar and a ground floor with a lounge, sanitary facilities and a staircase hall. External walls of the upper part of the cellar are made of CSB framework, partitions are made of Porotherm system, ceiling is made of reinforced concrete slabs. Roofing of the building is designed as a green roof. External walls of other parts of the building are also made of CBS framework, ceiling is a vault-like one supported by prefabricated beams and covered with Miako ceiling panels. The structure is situated in moderate, almost flat terrain, its cellar is sunk under ground level and covered with soil.

The masters’s thesis contains technical report of the building, suggested construction site installations, proposal of suitable machines and mechanisms required for construction, further it solves wider relations of transport lines to construction site, budget and time schedule. Detailed procedure of assembly of the load-bearing roof truss and the roof sheathing is provided in specifications. Safety and health protection, control and test plans are elaborated for stage of the building roofing.

Diploma thesis is developed the design and static assessment supporting steel structure Exhibition Hall of the overall ground dimensions 47x66m with a maximum height of 15.4 meters. Layout is designed in accordance with architectural requirements. The design is considered for Brno´s area. The proposal of roof system is designed in two versions whose dimensions are identical. The first option consists of a two-aisle hall object, parabolic truss girder, pin supported on fixed columns. The second variant also two-aisle building with truss frame structure assessed in static calculation. At the end of the thesis, comparison of both variants is elaborated. Design documentation, which consist layout drawing, drawing of truss for manufacturing, drawing indicative details and plan of anchorage, is a part od thesis

In one part of the building at 1 NP is mainly individual classrooms for play on an individual instrument. In the second part of the building is the concert hall, which is designed for orchestral rehearsal. The 2nd floor is mostly individual classrooms. In 3 NP is designed dance and ballet hall and individual classrooms. In the attic is a classroom for art education. The building has a partial basement. The building is planted on flat land. The building is brick from the system LIAPOR, overhead structures are made of panels SPIROLL, in the basement of a reinforced concrete slab. The roof construction is designed as a purlin roof and „hambalek“ purlin roofs made as saddle with a slope of 35 degrees.

The subject of the diploma thesis is the design of a free-standing veterinary clinic building in Nová Paka, in the form of project documentation for the construction. The building of the veterinary clinic consists of 3 rectangles forming a Z-shape, where the entrance to the building of the veterinary clinic, its operational and administrative part is located in the eastern part. In the western rectangle there is a separate and operationally separate entrance to the apartment unit, which is located on the second floor. The entrance to the veterinary clinic building and the housing unit is barrier-free. The building will be located in a slightly sloping terrain (3.49%). The main facade of the building with the entrance to the building is oriented to the southwest. The separate entrance to the apartment unit is from the northeast side. The perimeter masonry consists of the Porotherm system with the ETICS contact thermal insulation system in a thickness of 300 mm and 200 mm ETICS masonry. The internal load-bearing masonry also consists of a Porotoherm masonry system in a thickness of 250 mm. Internal non-load-bearing masonry consisting of the Porotherm system in thicknesses of 115 and 140 mm. The ceiling structure consists of a reinforced concrete slab th. 200 mm. Above the veterinary clinic, the roof area forming the terrace of the housing unit is considered, divided into two parts 1) with a vegetation layer and 2) with a tread layer of concrete paving on the targets. The main waterproofing layer of the flat roof consists of strips of SBS modified asphalt. Above the 2nd floor, a sloping hip roof made of glued wooden trusses is considered, and a sheet metal roofing is considered as the roof covering of the truss roof. The windows are designed with insulating triple glazing. The attic on the flat roof is equipped with an aluminum railing with a vertical bar infill. Veckbildning i bitumenbaserade tätskiktmattor är ett problem som är känt i branschen. Problemet uppstår oftast på underlagstak av trä som är byggda under årets fuktigaste period, oktober-november, och vecken börjar då att bildas i slutet av våren i takt med den ökande solinstrålningen. Vecken bildas när underlagstaket torkar ut och krymper, det leder till att tätskiktets infästningspunkter skjuts ihop och ett materialöverskott av tätskiktsmatta bildas – ett tillräckligt stort materialöverskott visar sig i form av ett veck. Idag kan veckbildningen leda till att tätskiktsmattor måste bytas ut av estetiska skäl. Denna rapport utreder vilka faktorer som påverkar risken för veckbildning. Rörelser i både trä och tätskikt har studerats. Träets rörelser är direkt beroende av dess fuktkvot, när träet torkar ut krymper det också. För att utreda de faktorer som påverkar träets fuktighet har fuktberäknings-programmet WUFI använts. WUFI har nyttjats för att göra en parameterstudie där olika parametrar har jämförts, till exempel: platser i landet, inbyggnadsfuktkvoter, tidpunkter för inbyggnad etc. Till skillnad från de flesta andra material krymper bitumenbaserade tätskikt initialt till följd av uppvärmning från solen. Hur träet och tätskiktet påverkar varandra till följd av deras inbördes rörelser har utretts i form av en hypotes. Antagandet utgår från att tätskiktets mekaniska infästningspunkter i underlagstaket är en viktig del - ju kortare avstånd mellan infästningspunkterna, desto högre är risken för veckbildning. Beräkningar, utifrån antagandet, har gjorts för att kunna jämföra olika utföranden med varandra. Faktorer som leder till minskad risk för veckbildning är att minska fuktkvotsändringen och därmed fuktrörelserna genom att bygga tak med så låg inbyggnadsfuktkvot som möjligt, till exempel genom att bygga under våren/sommaren. Vid byggnation under höst/vinter kan fuktkvoten hållas nere med en avfuktare. Att använda takplywood i stället för råspont leder till minskade rörelser i underlagstaket. En annan åtgärd som skulle minska risken för veckbildning är att öka den maximalt tillåtna krympningen i tätskiktet. / Creasing in roofing membranes is a problem that is familiar in the industry. The issue usually occurs on wooden roof deckings constructed during the wettest period of the year, October-November. The creases then begin to form at the end of the spring due to the increasing solar radiation. When the roof decking dries out and shrinks, the creases start to form. The shrinking leads to the attachment points of the roofing membrane getting pushed together. That creates an excess of material - a sufficiently large surplus of material appears in the form of a crease. Today, the formation of creases can lead to roofing membranes having to get replaced for aesthetic reasons. This report investigates the factors that affect the risk of creasing. Both the movement in the wood and the roofing membrane have been examined. The wood's motions are directly dependent on its moisture content. When the wood is drying, it's also shrinking. The moisture calculation program WUFI has been used to investigate the factors that affect the wood's moisture. The investigation is in the form of a parameter study where different parameters have been compared, for example, places in the country, built-in moisture ratios, built-in times, and more. Unlike most other materials, bituminous roofing membranes initially shrink due to heating from the sun. How the wood and the roofing membrane affect each other as a result of their respective movements has been investigated in the form of a hypothesis. It assumes that the mechanical attachment points of the roofing membrane in the roof decking are of importance - the shorter the distance between the attachment points, the higher the risk of creases. Calculations, based on the assumption, have been made to compare different roofing components with each other. Factors that lead to a reduced risk of creasing are to reduce the moisture ratio change and thus the moisture movements by building roofs with as low a built-in moisture ratio as possible, for example, by constructing in the spring/summer. When constructing during autumn/winter, the moisture ratio can be kept down with a dehumidifier. Using roof plywood instead of tongued and grooved board leads to reduced movements in the roof decking. Another measure that would reduce the risk of creasing is to increase the maximum allowable shrinkage in the roofing membrane.

The diploma thesis deals with the design and elaboration of the project documentation of a polyfunctional house with a café in Kyjov. The new building is located in the northern part of the city. It is a 4 floor object, partlial basement building with a saddle roof. The house is based on plain concrete slabs. The supporting peripheral and internal masonry is designed from POROTHERM brick blocks. In the cafeteria, an open layout is proposed using beams and columns. Ceiling structures are designed from the POROTHERM MIAKO system. The roof structure is designed with a truss with sheet metal cover. The perimeter walls in the 1PP are designed from blocks of loose formwork filled with concrete, which are insulated with extruded polystyrene. The building is functionally divided into 2 parts, each with its own entrance. The café is equipped with a vestibule, its own café, toilet for women and men with cabins for handicapped visitors and a background with a storeroom, dressing room and WC with a hall. The residential part consists of 4 garages and 6 apartments, 2 of which are adapted for the handicapped. The object is designed with natural ventilation. The object is barrier-free. In front of the building is proposed a parking space for 9 seats, 2 of which are designed for handicapped and 2 for apartment owners.

Content of this thesis is proces and structural layout design of subject „SENIORS’ BOARDINGHOUSE“. It’s a wide subject, which south wing is designed as single-storey with cellarage, central subject is two-storeyd without cellarage. Wooden shelters are connected to north and south wing. Architecture has been chosen in order to make a subject evoking calm and positive impression for retirement aged persons living. Roof structure is double-pitched shape with two main skylights. Roof is red coloured and a facade is white. Interior space of subject is designed to satisfy a demands for comfortable living of single persons (one-room flats) as well as retirement aged couples (2+KK flats). Round the subject there are situated further tinier subjects there designed for utilization by seniors, but for those who are still active. Subject is brick, founded on continuous footing and spreading slab. Roof structure is constructed of wooden bearing rafter framework which is, in case of main object, designed with central binding rafter and collar roof in case of north and south wing. Subject is insulated with External Thermal Insulation Composite System, roof is covered by ceramic roof covering in combination with folded sheet metal covering. Main living quarters is situated in first and second above-ground storey of central subject, restaurant with background lie in south wing and wellness available for public as well is situated in north wing. In basement of south wing there is technical background of whole subject situated there as is garage, technical room, service room, bicycle room and storage. Next the kitchen staff background including storages for kitchen lie here.

The diploma thesis is focused on the elaboration of a construction technology project for the construction of a new hospital pavilion in Český Krumlov. The thesis processes the preparation of construction and proposal of the organization of individual activities on the construction site in time sequence. The thesis contains technological regulations for the foundation of construction and realization of the monolithic frame on the 1st floor, which also includes drawings of the formwork of the ceiling slab and a scheme of formwork of columns and walls. Further contents are technological report, technological study of realization, transport relations, time and financial plans, complete construction site equipment for the whole construction phase, design of construction mechanisms and assessment of their suitability for use, resource balance, technological analysis, itemized budget, and occupational health protection for selected processes and noise studies dealing with the impact of building construction on the surrounding development.
