The master thesis focuses on more efficient application of Scrum methodology in a development team within specific company. The thesis takes an advantage from the SW-CMM philosophy applied in agile environment in order to achieve better effectivity. Theorethical base is utilized for a comparison with current state in the company described in analytical part. Proposals for a solution of current situation are based on drawback detection. Proposals are subject for risk analysis followed by precaution. Costs of proposals implementation with included precautions are evaluated in economic evaluation part. This part also contains benefits of proposals.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of project management tools in the management of IT projects. The basic theoretical concepts are described in the first part of the thesis. The analytical part is devoted to the analysis of the current situation in the company. The proposal for changes in the project focusing on the development of a new functionality of the information system for the customer is based on this analysis and its efficiency is improved using the Scrum agile methodology.

This diploma thesis deals with a type of efficiency improvement of the hiring process in a company, where agile methods are used for the development of its software products. The theoretical part describes specification of traditional and agile methods, and a profound description of the Scrum and Kanban methods and the use of agile methods for hiring activities. In the following part, there is issued an analysis of the current situation in the company oriented to HR department and suggesting possible solutions for discovered problems.

The topic of this thesis is project management and description of software solution for project management support. This software solution was also implemented within the thesis. The first part contains a description of the terminology used in project management. There is described project management as well. The second part contains a description of technical analysis and implementation of the web application for project management.

The diploma thesis deals with changes for streamlining project management, software development and work in development teams by introducing the agile Scrum methodology. The beginning of the diploma thesis deals with the theoretical background and basic concepts that are used in other parts of the work. The analytical part analyses the current state of the software division. In the design part, based on the results of the analysis, a proposal for changes in project management is created using the agile methodology, which aims to streamline project management and software development. At the end of the design part, economic evaluations of the design and its benefits for the division are processed.

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá porovnaním metodiky použitej na projekte vývoja software a metodiky SCRUM. V rámci práce sú zmapované všetky role, udalosti a artefakty projektu u ktorých sú následne identifikované ich odlišnosti od definície metodiky SCRUM. Práca ďalej obsahuje návrh toho, čo je potrebné upraviť, alebo zmeniť, aby sa dosiahla správna aplikácia metodiky SCRUM a tým pádom aj optimalizácia vývojového procesu.

El presente trabajo consiste en una propuesta de arquitectura empresarial para la empresa UNICON integrada con la gestión de TI e implementación de un desarrollo de software utilizando el marco de trabajo SCRUM, a fin de mejorar el proceso de negocio programación de Pedidos y Servicio de concreto. Es por esto que, se pondrá en práctica los conocimientos adquiridos de Arquitectura Empresarial, metodologías ágiles y gestión de servicios en TI. Se identificó como problema neurálgico la lenta atención de programación de pedidos y servicio de concreto para los segmentos de mercado M y P; siendo este un proceso clave del negocio. Este problema trae como consecuencia la insatisfacción de los clientes y una baja en las ventas del sector M y P. En ese sentido, y a fin de corregir los problemas en el proceso seleccionado, se realiza una propuesta de arquitectura empresarial que permita identificar una oportunidad de mejora en el proceso de y servicio de concreto. Además, se presenta una propuesta para realizar una solución de sistemas basándose en SCRUM como metodología ágil. Para esto, se presenta un análisis del equipo actual de sistemas de la empresa UNICON y se define el equipo de trabajo con el que se contara para el desarrollo de una solución. Una vez elaborada la propuesta de desarrollo sobre metodologías agiles, se procede a realizar un análisis de los servicios necesarios para poder lograr la continuidad de la operación de la solución propuesta basándose en el marco de trabajo ITIL; para lo cual se definen los procedimientos que soportará la propuesta de mejora del proceso de programación de pedidos y servicio de concreto. / Tesis

This master thesis deals with the design of extending UIS module for mobile devices. First part of this thesis is dedicated to the analysis and justification to the benefit of mobile devices with focus on available mobile platforms. Subsequently, this thesis describes theoretical backgrounds upon which is based my own solution in perspective of software life cycle and SCRUM project management.

The diploma thesis deals with an establishment of the agile and project management implementation model in a software development. Thesis analyzes these approaches in a software development team of an international organization and presents a solution of their usages in a process improvement defined by the CMMI model in selected processes areas.

The thesis focuses on the applications of agile methodologies in actual business practice, especially in the marketing department. This thesis presents the theoretical foundations that describe the differences between the traditional concept of project management and agile methods. The other part consists of a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the company and the marketing department. The suggested part shows solutions of problems through the applications of agile methods that have been identified in the analytical part.
