Abstract
This study focuses on the existing investment environment in Vietnam, the government¡¦s new policies and challenges, in the hope of preparing for the enterprises¡¦ operation and marketing plans and mitigating the loss that might be brought by the investment. Since 1986, Vietnam has engaged in economic reform on an on-going basis and transformed its planned economy to a market economy step by step to create a fruitful investment environment. Additionally, it has also privatized the public enterprises step by step, and encouraged the incorporation of private enterprises to induce foreign investment. Therefore, given that the politics in Vietnam are stable, political risk is smaller than that in the other South East Asia countries, and the Vietnamese Government is engaging in omnibus diplomacy and has made remarkable breakthroughs, Taiwanese businessmen may consider it as an area worth investment.
Notwithstanding that the investment environment in Vietnam has improved more significantly than ever, the enterprises¡¦ operation still has to bear considerable risk. For example, though the Vietnamese Government is dedicated to reform, it is often impossible to fulfill the policies in a timely manner due to the tremendous bureaucracy., Taiwanese businessmen¡¦s investment still encounters some uncertain factors because sometimes the policies only take into consideration the interest of Vietnam unilaterally but ignore the investors¡¦ interests and rights.
To our understanding, for the time being the theories relevant to Vietnam in Taiwan are mostly analysis and comparison about the investment environment in Vietnam. Nevertheless, there are few discussions about the operation environment in Vietnam in terms of Taiwanese businessmen¡¦s experience in the investment, and there are fewer discussions in terms of Taiwanese businessmen¡¦s marketing strategies. Therefore, this study will highlight the views in the form of discussions.
In terms of the investment environment in Vietnam, this study is intended to discuss and analyze the marketing strategies, market condition, opportunities and threats, to prepare to settle the yearly major goals and marketing plans, establish the marketing strategies, execute the marketing plans, and establish the marketing control to provide the enterprises with more complete consideration and enable them to develop perpetually.

This time using the Secondary Analysis Approach , that to collecting the data of the China & Taiwan, than using the SWOT Analysis Approach to compare the both sides semiconductor assembly industry internal & outside factor and also uses the Dr. Michael E. Porter diamond model 4 kinds factors (production, requirement, related industry and supporting industry) to make comparison. The analysis result is that Taiwan semiconductor assembly industries have well competition than China. After Taiwan semiconductor assembly industry go to China investing the weak point will become to a supporting.
The conclusion is that Taiwan semiconductor assembly industry must go west to invest in China for low level product and high level product must keep in Taiwan. This kind combination is best and can create the win win policy between government and industries. This year 2005 that Taiwan semiconductor assembly industry total production amount is NT$214,000 million still world number one, but China in Year 2005 is¢D34,491 million the gap become small. We expect in the near future that China semiconductor assembly industry will instead Taiwan become to world number one.

The master thesis "Analysis of mutual relations between the Czech Republic and China focused on the import position of a company M.A.T. Group, s.r.o." describes the whole import process from China on an example of a concrete Czech company. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is focused on mutual business and investment relations between the Czech Republic and China. The company itself is introduced in the second chapter of the thesis. The third chapter deals with the whole import process and describes all its parts. Following fourth chapter analyses selected problems related to the import process. Confirms or refutes the rightness of the solution, in case of need suggests a new one. The first part of the fifth chapter is focused on Chinese business conventions including culture specifics of Chinese businessmen. In the second part of the fifth chapter a SWOT analysis of the import position of the company is created, that summarizes all the information gathered during elaboration of the thesis, and proposes the import strategy of the company in business relations with China.

Abstract
The cross-strait financial industry will change significantly after the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by Taiwan and China on both cooperation and competition end of the spectrum, and the entire financial industry including individual financial institution will need to adjust its business strategy to survive in the post-ECFA Era. One individual financial institution requires an all-rounded strategy regarding every aspect to penetrate into China market surrounded by many Chinese banking competitors.
In this regard, this study, the business penetration strategy into China financial market for Taiwanese financial institution in case of the F bank, Taiwan, analyzed and discussed the best suited business strategy, and how such strategy should be implanted and executed. In order to do so, this study analyzed different circumstances under not only the macroeconomic environment and the regulation, but also by various business strategy models form PEST, business competition, SWOT, RBV, to statistical analysis with different projected future scenario given, to understand which will be the optimal solution for the F bank to penetrate into the China market. Nonetheless, the study further analyzed the details of the optimal solution from where the first business unit should be setup, to what regard the service should include, and also who the target customers are with CEPA¡¦s historical experience as reference.
The study showed that the F bank should remain focus on Taiwanese corporations in China and setup the first several branches and subsidiaries accordingly; nonetheless, the Strait-West district (®ü¦è¯S°Ï) could be a suitable fit if it provides a better options to Taiwanese banks. As for the range of the service and products mix, the F bank should first focus on corporate banking, especially to satisfy the capital needs from Taiwanese corporations, and then gradually move forward towards securities service utilizing its subsidiaries¡¦ resources. Furthermore, because product development will be the key to F bank¡¦s expansion, it is crucial to demonstrate the product innovation ability to impress F-bank¡¦s local customers.
On the other hand, lack of financial service in the Big West region¡]¤j¦è³¡¡^ provides another great opportunity for Taiwanese banks to establish their business in China. The Big West region is blooming; however, there are still very few financial services and relatively less competition in the region, therefore, the first mover¡¦s advantage we often discovered in the coastal region is not yet existed. This provides Taiwanese banks a great window to penetrate and a profitable potential return.
Strategic allying with or investing in the local banks to participate only in establishing branches and subsidiaries will be a highly growth strategy as well. Ningbo and Nanjing bank will be our first choices for the F bank to ally with within all first-tier banks. As for the second-tier banks, we believe relevant banks in Zhejiang Province, Montaibank, Chouzou commercial bank, and Tyrone commercial bank will be good targets if the F bank select to start up from the Yanze river delta region; Fujian Haizia bank will be our priority choice in Strait-West district.
In conclusion, the competition will become more intense in the future fighting for business of Taiwanese corporations in China; hence, the competition from Chinese local banks will become more furious as well. As the result, we believe the best strategy for Taiwanese banks to survive and penetrate in China will be to maintain the existing customers and to satisfy their needs before there is a clear progress of the ECFA negotiation. We suggest banks reconstruct their own resources integration and improve their efficiency and communication within the institution to customize their service to meet customers¡¦ needs to achieve the goal.

Previous issue date: 2017-03-14 / CAPES / O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar o cenário das relações de cooperação entre os grupos de pesquisa da UFPE e a indústria farmacêutica identificando as principais facilidades, dificuldades, oportunidades e ameaças dessas interações, além de apontar ações estratégicas para melhoria na relação Universidade-Empresa (U-E). A pesquisa utilizou fontes de informação primárias e secundárias. Foram aplicados questionários tanto aos coordenadores dos grupos de pesquisa da UFPE que interagiram com empresas da indústria farmacêutica do ano de 2006 a 2014, quanto a dois representantes das empresas parceiras que resultaram no Estudo de Caso deste trabalho. Foi aplicada a ferramenta SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities e Threats) para apontar as principais facilidades, dificuldades, oportunidades e ameaças vivenciadas pelos entrevistados no processo de interação entre a universidade e as empresas. Como principais facilidades, a presente pesquisa identificou a Elaboração do Termo de Cooperação; Existência de pessoal qualificado nas empresas para estabelecer um diálogo com a universidade; Facilidade de comunicação e Capacidade de Absorção das empresas. Algumas dificuldades encontradas no trabalho sobre a interação foram a Burocracia Universitária; Longa duração do projeto; Diferenças de prioridade; Falta de conhecimento mútuo dos agentes da relação; Falta de pessoal qualificado na universidade para estabelecer um diálogo com as empresas; Falta de um agente intermediador para auxiliar as questões técnico-administrativas da interação; Divergências em relação aos direitos de propriedade intelectual e publicação dos resultados da pesquisa. Ainda, foram identificadas como principais ameaças o Grau de desenvolvimento do complexo industrial e a Estratégia Tecnológica das empresas locais e oportunidades. Competência tecnológica da ICT; Políticas Públicas para inovação; Reconhecimento da universidade como fonte de informação tecnológica; Investimento em P&D, foram apontadas como principais oportunidades. A matriz SWOT gerada neste trabalho aponta para a necessidade da universidade i) fortalecer seu núcleo de inovação tecnológica de maneira que este consiga contribuir para aproximar a universidade com o setor produtivo, ii) otimizar as ações de auxílio à pesquisa da FADE, iii) estabelecer ações efetivas de conhecimento mútuo entre os atores tanto no que se refere às competências da universidade quanto aos problemas e demandas da indústria e iv) explorar ao máximo as possibilidades trazidas pelo Novo Marco Legal de C.T&I. Ressalta-se, ainda, no ambiente do setor da indústria farmacêutica, a necessidade da criação de Políticas Públicas mais assertivas e eficazes destinadas ao setor de maneira a efetivamente fortalecê-lo, impulsionando o lançamento de produtos de maior valor inovativo e agregado, e diminuindo a dependência brasileira por insumos importados. Espera-se que esta pesquisa possa disponibilizar para a universidade, governo e sociedade uma gama de informações de modo a gerar subsídios para ações estratégicas de desenvolvimento de parceria entre a UFPE e as empresas da indústria farmacêutica visando o fortalecimento desse arranjo produtivo de grande potencial para Pernambuco e que as relações U-E sejam cada vez mais frequentes e profícuas. / The objective of this study was to investigate the scenario of the cooperation relations between UFPE research groups and the pharmaceutical industry, identifying the main facilities, difficulties, opportunities and threats to these interactions. Moreover, this study aimed to identify strategic actions for improvement in the University-Enterprise relationship. The research used primary and secondary sources of information. Questionnaires were applied both to the coordinators of UFPE research groups who interacted with enterprises from the pharmaceutical industry from 2006 to 2014, and to two representatives of the partner enterprises that resulted in a Case Study. A SWOT (Strenghts, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis was applied to identify the main facilities, difficulties, opportunities and threats experienced by the interviewees in the process of interaction between university and enterprises. This study identified as main facilities, the Elaboration of the Term of Cooperation; Existence of qualified personnel in enterprises to establish a dialogue with the university; Facility of communication and Capacity of Absorption of the enterprises. The main difficulties identified were University Bureaucracy; Long project duration; Differences of priority; Lack of mutual knowledge of the agents of the relationship; Lack of qualified university personnel to establish a dialogue with enterprises; Lack of an intermediary agent to assist the technical-administrative issues of the interaction; Differences in intellectual property rights and publication of research results. Also, the degree of development of the industrial complex and the Technological Strategy of local enterprises were identified as the main threats. ICT technological competence; Public policies for innovation; Recognition of the university as a source of technological information; and Investment in R & D were identified as the main opportunities. The SWOT matrix generated points to the need for the university i) to strengthen its technological innovation nucleus so that it can contribute to bring the university closer to the productive sector, ii) to optimize the FADE Foundation’s research assistance actions, iii) to establish effective actions of mutual knowledge between the actors both regarding the university's competencies and the problems and demands of the industry; and (iv) to exploit to the fullest extent possible the CT & I New Legal Framework. It is also important to emphasize the need to create more assertive and effective Public Policies for the sector in order to effectively strengthen it, boosting the launch of products of higher innovative and aggregate value, and reducing the Brazilian dependence on imported inputs. It is expected that this research will provide a range of information to the university, government and society in order to generate subsidies for strategic partnership development actions between the UFPE and the enterprises of the pharmaceutical industry aimed at strengthening this productive arrangement of great potential for Pernambuco. It is hoped that once aware of the main bottlenecks and opportunities of the interaction process, strategic actions occur so that the University-Enterprise relations become more frequent and profitable.
