  • The Global ETD Search service is a free service for researchers to find electronic theses and dissertations. This service is provided by the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations.
Our metadata is collected from universities around the world. If you manage a university/consortium/country archive and want to be added, details can be found on the NDLTD website.

Architecture of an Intelligent Test Error Detection Agent

Kirmse, Matthias, Petersohn, Uwe 20 February 2012 (has links) (PDF)
In this paper we present the architecture of an intelligent test error detection agent that is able to independently supervise the test process. By means of rationally applied bin and cause specific retests it should detect and correct the majority of test errors with minimal additional test effort. To achieve this, the agent utilizes test error models learned from historical example data to rate single wafer runs. The resulting run specific test error hypotheses are sequentially combined with information gained from regular and ordered retests in order to infer and update a global test error hypothesis. Based on this global hypothesis the agent decides if a test error exists, what its most probable cause is and which bins are affected. Consequently, it is able to initiate proper retests to check the inferred hypothesis and if necessary correct the affected test runs. The paper includes a description of the general architecture and discussions about possible test error models, the inference approach to generate the test error hypotheses from the given information and a possible set of rules to act upon the inferred hypothesis.

Aita, Bruna Homrich January 2013 (has links)
Networks based on multi-relations between companies, which often present different individual interests, result from global competition. The semiconductor industry is strongly affected by that. In this context, while material and information flow inter-organizationally involving all activities from raw material procurement to final products delivery to customers, the study of production chain intents to understand this market structure and development. Despite this subject has been extensively discussed by literature, the production chain of semiconductor industry has been limited to semiconductor manufacturing (raw material) steps. Hence, the aim of this paper is to study, in an exploratory way, the production chain of semiconductor industry, with the purpose of understanding its expanded structure up to final customers, its governance structures and its enterprises perception of members’ importance through AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method application. This research has proposed a production chain mapping with eight members: design house, foundry, packaging company, memory integrator, computer integrator, distributor, retailer and final customer. The results suggest that governance structures depend on environment and relationships characteristics and that they have been narrowing the center of this production chain due to the strength and importance expressed by its outermost members.
