Výpočet nastavení distančních ochran v síti 110 kV / The calculation of 110 kV network distance protection relays setings.

Bartoš, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This master’s thesis is about setting of distance protections. The first part is focused on a brief analysis of the basic types of failures and distance protections tripping characteristics and their co-operation with automatic re-turn. The most extensive theoretical chapter is devoted to specific influences that negatively affect the proper operation of distance protections. The practical part is about calculation of symmetrical short-circuit and dissymmetrical short-circuit conditions with consideration of fault resistance and the actual calculation settings of distance protections. Calculations of short-circuit conditions and setting of distance protections are made on a specific part of the network of E.ON in area Prostejov, which is supplied from the substation 400/110 kV Otrokovice.

Ustálený chod a zkratové poměry v síti 110 kV E.ON při můstkovém provozu transformátorů T402 a T403 v transformovně 400/110 kV Sokolnice / Steady state and short-circuit conditions within E.ON 110kV power network at bridge operation of transformers T402 and T403 in 400/100kV transformer station Sokolnice

Bernát, Jan January 2014 (has links)
The master’s thesis deals with a calculation of steady state and short-circuit conditions in a 110 kV system during a bridge operation of transformers in a Sokolnice substation. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with a calculation of steady state of a system using Newton’s iterative method, it investigates short-circuits – their timing, distinctive values and a method of their calculation. In the practical part the 100 kV grid supplied from Sokolnice substation is described. The main goal of the thesis is a comparation of two basic wirings: bridge operation of T202 and T203 transformers (contemporarily in service) and bridge operation of T402 and T403 (in service after 2017). These two wirings were controlled even during one state of emergency during which the Sokolnice substation will be affected by an outage of one busbar. Voltage conditions, loading of power line and transformers and overall power balance were controlled. Short-circuit conditions were also calculated and short-circuit resistance of particular substations was inspected. In the conclusion technical measures needed to ensure smooth bridge operation of convertors T402 and T403.

Napájecí zdroj elektrostatického odlučovače / Power supply of electrostatic separator

Broďák, Kamil January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on the problems of electric power precipitators. Due to their current dominant position, the work concentrates on the sources of single phase transformers operating at the frequency of 50 Hz controlled by thyristors. The first part describes the electrostatic precipitator and its principle. This is followed by a brief insight into the proposal for an electrostatic precipitator. The work also explains the high voltage source that is divided into a transformer with a rectifier and into a control box with power circuits and control circuits that provide the power supplied by a transformer. The work also offers an explanation of the HV source system that operates at different conditions. The last part suggests a proposal for cooling cabinet including thyristors, for power line control box resources, for a supply line and a line to the transformer.

Analýza statického a dynamického namáhání stávající rozvodny 110 kV pro zvýšení zkratové odolnosti / Analysis of Static and Dynamic Stresses the Existing 110 kV Substation for Short Circuit Strength Increasing

Balák, Dušan January 2016 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with static and dynamic stress calculation of busbar and wire conductors in HV and EHV substations according to standards ČSN EN 60865-1 ed. 2 and ČSN EN 50341-1 ed. 2. Calculations are done in program made in MS Excel with consideration to corporate regulations of energetics. In introduction is described the construction of HV substations and methodical step-by-step computation. Practical evaluation is applied to the substation R110 kV Dluhonice, where has to be checked up sufficient short-circuit resistance because of short-circuit strength increasing. At the end is analysed the influence of the spring structure constant on short-circuit strength forces in substation. Highly significant utility is the founded program for HV substations designations.

EXPERIMENT AND MODELING OF COPPER INDIUM GALLIUM DISELENIDE (CIGS) SOLAR CELL: EFFECT OF AXIAL LOADING AND ROLLING

Arturo Garcia (8848484) 15 May 2020 (has links)

In this paper various applications of axial tensile load, bending load, and rolling loading has been applied to a Copper Indium Gallium Diselenide (CIGS) Solar Cell to lean how it would affect the solar cell parameters of: Open circuit voltage (Voc), Short circuit current, (Isc), Maximum power (Pmax), and Efficiency (EFF), and Fill Factor (FF). These Relationships were found for with three different experiments. The first experiment the applies axial tensile stress is to a CIGS solar cell ranging from 0 to 200 psi with various strain rates: 0.0001, 0.001, 0.01, and 0.1 in/sec as well as various relaxation time: 1min, 5min, and 10 min while the performance of solar cell is measured. The results of this gave several trends couple pertaining the Voc . The first is that open circuit voltage increases slightly with increasing stress. The second is the rate of increase (the slope) increases with longer relaxation times. The second set of trend pertains to the Isc. The first is that short circuit current generally is larger with larger stress. The second is there seems to be a general increase in the Isc up to a given threshold of stress. After that threshold the Isc seems to decrease. The threshold stress varies depending on strain rate and relaxation time. The second set of experiments consisted of holding a CIGS solar cell in a fixed curved position while it was in operational use. The radii of the curved cells were: 0.41, 0.20, 0.16, 0.13, 0.11, 0.094, and 0.082 m. The radii were performed for both concave and convex cell curvature. The trends for this show a slight decrease in all cell parameters with decreasing radii, the exception being Voc which is not effecting, the convex curvature causing a slightly faster decrease than the concave. This set of experiments were also processed to find the trends of the single diode model parameters of series resistance (Rs), shunt resistance (Rsh), dark current (I0), and saturation current (IL), which agreed with the experimental results. The second experiment consisted of rolling a CIGS solar cell in tensile (cells towards dowel.) and compression (cells away from dowel) around a dowel to create internal damage. The diameter of the dowels decreased. The dowel diameters were: 2. 1.75, 1.25, 1, 0.75, 0.5, and 0.25 inches. This experiment showed similar trends as the bending one but also had a critical diameter of 1.75 in where beyond that damage much greater. Finally a parametric study was done in COMSOL Multiphysics® to examine how changes in the CIGS material properties of electron mobility (EM), electron life time, (EL), hole mobility 15 (HM), and Hole life time (HL) effect the cell parameters. The trends are of an exponential manner that converges to a given value as the material properties increase. When EL, EM, HL are very small, on the order of 10-4 times smaller than their accepted values, a transient like responses occurs.

Fey, Thomas 22 September 2015 (has links)

Gatzsche, Michael 12 January 2017 (has links)
Allerdings führte bei einer Betriebstemperatur von 105 °C ein thermisch instabiles Schmierfett zum vorzeitigen elektrischen Ausfall eines Teils der Steckverbinder.:Einleitung Hochstrom-Kontaktsysteme – Stand der Technik Theorie der Kontakte bei hoher Strombelastung Stationäres elektrisch-thermisches Betriebsverhalten Transientes elektrisch-thermisches Betriebsverhalten Langzeitverhalten Zusammenfassung Ausblick / Switchgear and devices for the power grid use high-power connectors if moving parts have to be contacted or equipment shall be easily mountable and dismountable. The electrical connection of the conductors is often realized by spring-loaded contact elements. As part of the main circuit, contact elements must carry the full operating current in the kiloampere-range for the entire service life of the device. In case of a fault, the short-circuit current, which is one order of magnitude larger, has to be carried for up to several seconds. In this thesis, calculation models for the inner temperature rise of high-power contact systems in steady-state continuous operation, as well as for the transient short-circuit load case were developed. Electrical and mechanical long-term performance in the temperature range from 105 to 180 °C was experimentally investigated with current carrying, grease-lubricated model connectors which were regularly unplugged and replugged. Modelling, calculations and experiments were exemplarily carried out with Multilam contact elements. Conductors and contact element consisted of silver-plated copper. The analytical voltage-temperature relation was used to calculate the steady-state performance; calculations were verified with a temperature-rise test. The temperature difference from contact element to conductors is very small (≤ 3 K) for standard applications like switchgear. Thus, it is sufficient to use the conductor temperature as a criterion for the design of the continuous ampacity of high-power contact systems. At short-time load, a fast spatially inhomogeneous temperature rise was numerically calculated. Conductor and contact element continuously heat up; due to the smaller current carrying cross section, median final temperature rise in the contact element is one order of magnitude larger than in the conductors. Because of their negligible thermal capacity, contacts perform 100 Hz temperature cycles at 50 Hz AC load; the maximum contact temperatures may be significantly higher than the median temperature of the contact elements. In the long-term test, after 16 000 h operating time at 180 °C and regular plugging operations, contact elements maintained enough joint force to meet the requirements of a new contact system. At 105 °C however, a thermally instable grease led to electrical failure of part of the connectors.:Einleitung Hochstrom-Kontaktsysteme – Stand der Technik Theorie der Kontakte bei hoher Strombelastung Stationäres elektrisch-thermisches Betriebsverhalten Transientes elektrisch-thermisches Betriebsverhalten Langzeitverhalten Zusammenfassung Ausblick

Feature-based Mini Unmanned Air Vehicle Video Euclidean Stabilization with Local Mosaics

Gerhardt, Damon Dyck 01 February 2007 (has links) (PDF)
Video acquired using a camera mounted on a mini Unmanned Air Vehicle (mUAV) may be very helpful in Wilderness Search and Rescue and many other applications but is commonly plagued with limited spatial and temporal field of views, distractive jittery motions, disorienting rotations, and noisy and distorted images. These problems collectively make it very difficult for human viewers to identify objects of interest as well as infer correct orientations throughout the video. In order to expand the temporal and spatial field of view, stabilize, and better orient users of noisy and distorted mUAV video, a method is proposed of estimating in software and in real time the relative motions of each frame to the next by tracking a small subset of features within each frame to the next. Using these relative motions, a local Euclidean mosaic of the video can be created and a curve can be fit to the video's accumulative motion path to stabilize the presentations of both the video and the local Euclidean mosaic. The increase in users' abilities to perform common search-and-rescue tasks of identifying objects of interest throughout the stabilized and locally mosaiced mUAV video is then evaluated. Finally, a discussion of remaining limitations is presented along with some possibilities for future work.
