I tider av förändring : Hur kompetensutveckling och digitalisering påverkades av coronapandemin

Sivander, Matilda, Andersson, Simon January 2023 (has links)
Abstract This study has examined whether there has been a change in the work with competence development and digitalization in a Swedish bank due to the corona pandemic. To investigate the possible change, the authors have used Argyris (1997) theory of single and double loop learning. The study showed that the employees in the organization felt that the corona pandemic was a change factor regarding the design of competence development and a driving factor for digitalization within the bank. Previous research has  tried to identify the concept but also researched how competence development was affected by the pandemic in different organizations. During the search process of previous research, a knowledge gap was discovered in how skills development and digitalization were affected  by the pandemic in the banking sector. Due to this knowledge gap, the authors wanted to increase knowledge about how these two areas in the banking sector were affected by the pandemic. Using a qualitative study, based on semi-structured interviews, the authors attempt to reduce the knowledge gap and contribute knowledge to both society at large but also to the individuals working in this field. The authors hope that this study will be able to reduce the knowledge gap identified and contribute to the reader's interest in further researching the topic. Keywords: Competence development, change, digitalization, digital competence
