Apartmány "CORA" v srdci Vysočiny / Apartments "CORA" in the heart of the Highlands

Petrová, Miroslava January 2016 (has links)
This diploma thesis focuses on design of an accommodation guest house – apartments and stables. The apartment object has two above-ground floors and a partial basement. Two social rooms and a room for staff are located in the part of the basement that reaches above ground. The dinning room, sanitary facilities and apartments for people with reduced mobility are located on the first floor. Four apartments are located in a residential attic. The recreational building is made of ceramic bricks and has a gabled roof and counter skylights. The agricultural building will be used for stabling horses, parking agricultural machinery and storing hay and feed. Stables are designed as a timber frame construction with a supporting frame made of timber pillars coated with the Fermacell boards. The building has a gabled roof with a skylight above the horse boxes for ventilation. The thesis contains drawings and technical documentation and it is composed as an implementation project.

Mateřská škola / Kindergarten

Svobodová, Simona January 2017 (has links)
The topic of my diploma project considers a new building for a kindergarten in the city quarter Brno-Bystrc. The building lot where is the kindergarten located is rectangular in shape and is genty sloping. The building consists of a groundfloor only, without a basement and is solved as barrier-free. The kindergarten has 2 classrooms with the overal capacity of 50 children. On the west side of the plot is considered a parking lot for 13 cars, from here there is a sidewalk reaching the main gate and further the main entrance of the building. The structural wooden system use wooden wall panels NOVATOP. The foundation slab from reinforced concrete is layed on a glass foam granulate. The roof is designed as a green flat roof. The building has an atypical layout. The central part is raised and has a hexagonal contour, in its center is located a glazed atrium. On two sides of the hexagon are symmetrically located two more wings, which has a nearly rectangular shape. In front of the building is located a playground, faced to the south.

Senior park / Senior Park

Kokolia, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
The master’s thesis project is developed for the implementation of a new building for the elderly and persons with reduced mobility - Senior Park. The building is divided into several parts: the main building with facilities and separate wooden houses for the accommodation. The main building is a single-storey structure with a vegetative roof. The houses are designed with gable roof, without a basement. There is an emphasis on utmost privacy of individuals along with the care and closeness to nature. I embedded the main building partially into the ground so as to offset the difference in land and thus facilitate the movement after the plot and also served as a park for the inhabitants.

Segurança, eficiência energética e conforto visual em emboques de túneis rodoviários: soluções arquitetônicas / Safety, power efficiency and visual comfort at the access zone of highway tunnels: architectural solutions

Moura, Norberto Corrêa da Silva 28 August 2007 (has links)
The usual adopted solution to defuse the drivers visual impact at the highway tunnel entrance during the daytime, has been the use of electric lighting, with high initial level and gradual reduction towards the internal side of the tunnel. This brings two immediate problems, concerning energy consumption and security. Direct sunlight causes high intensity glare sources around the tunnel entrance, and the lighting level should be enough to allow the interior visibility, when the driver approaches the tunnel, entailing high energy consumption to a low accurate task. Security-wise, in case of power supply failure, collisions possibility increases, due to the drivers instinctive reaction to brake suddenly. Architectural solutions, this research object, are related to a Visual Adaptation System (VAS) positioned on the open road before the tunnel entrance, which, on the one hand, acts into the problem causes, and, on the other, provides the necessary lighting inside the tunnel by natural light sources (Sun and sky). Five strategies are proposed designing the VAS. A practical application on Metropolitan Area Ring Road Mario Covas West segment tunnels checked the so-built VAS performance, not presenting the identified deficiencies in the conventional solution (artificial lighting). The intrinsic system feature assured the critical point security. Besides the consumption reduction, the energy supply for nighttime could be generated by the VAS, if photovoltaic modules are added, and the natural light seasonal feature is followed by the system, favoring the visual comfort by decreasing the visual adaptation process range.
