Implementace IoT zařízení pro chytrou domácnost / Implementation of an IoT device for Smart Home

Popela, Vojtěch January 2018 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to acquainted with the concepts of Internet things, a smart home, and then design and implement smart home appliance – a kettle. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the description of The Internet of Things, Smart Home, market research of Kettles, protocols used in the Internet of Things and analysis of functions to implement. In the first part of the solution a program for a control unitbuilt on the development board ESP8266 is created and the local control is put into operation. In the second part a web application is designed and put into operation. The third part of the solution contains photo documentation and project description. The fourth part analyzes power consumption and also includes a proposal for saving energy. The last part includes the design of printed circuit boards.

Chytrá domácnost – knihovna pro sběr dat / Smart Home - library for data acquisition

Tomiczek, Roman January 2020 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the development of a software library for aggregating data from electricity meters and sending data to a central station. The most used protocols in smart grids are described. The work deals in more detail with the most important parts of the DLMS/COSEM standard. The DLMS protocol is described, which ensures communication between clients and servers. Next, the COSEM object model is described, which specifies object modeling, for access to measuring devices, and the OBIS system, which determines the identification of data objects. The Gurux library, which specializes in intelligent meter readings, is also described. The results of the work describe the implementation and testing of a software library for aggregation of data from servers using the DLMS/COSEM protocol using the GURUX library. At the end of the work is described a series of tests that were performed using this software library.

Webového rozhraní pro ovládání prvků chytré domácnosti / Web Interface to Control Smart Home Devices

Farkaš, František January 2021 (has links)

Shaking Hands with the Zeitgeist. : Influencing trends through strategic design.

Mastroianni, Benjamin January 2021 (has links)
Research into cultural dynamics and trend mechanisms has been used to “deconstruct” theinfluence structure of fashion in a way that can be applied to a hypothetical design strategy. The design strategy revolves around designing products with the intension to indirectlycommunicate an idea or ideas and by taking advantage of a products emotional value, toincrease structural and cognitive embeddedness of underlying ideas. The application of the strategy is the design of a smart product called “Gelo”. Gelo is a ‘smartwall’ concept that uses soft robotic actuators to transform its surface to adapt to changinglight conditions, improve room acoustics, and produce dynamic visual displays.By using HASEL soft robot actuators for movement, emerging technology could be exploredthrough the medium a conceptual consumer product while also allowing interestingfunctionality to be implemented to the Gelo concept. The addition of this functionalityallowed for ‘display like’ properties which are used to explore the idea of smart home devicesas a way of provide an enhanced emotional experienced.

Autonomní správa inteligentní domácnosti / Autonomous Management of Intelligent Home

Punčochářová, Pavlína January 2016 (has links)
Currently, the topic of smart home is not new and there are many solutions for this problem on a market. Emphasis is placed on miniaturization of the individual elements of an intelligent system and control logic of the system as a whole. This is associated with requirement for ensuring management capabilities of the system in case of failure of the connection between some of the functional elements and the control member.  This work deals with design and implementation of modifications in intelligent home gateway in an existing BeeeOn project to ensure its autonomy even in case of loss of internet connection. The problem of loss of ability to manage the household is solved by adding the possibility to establish direct communication with the gateway and the introduce automation ability into gates to control household without the participation of the controlling member. This extension brings autonomy into the system and allows user to have the household under control even in case of loss of internet connection. It leads to increase system security and quality of service in general.

Brána inteligentní domácnosti / Gateway for Smart Home

Čechmánek, Martin January 2015 (has links)
In area of Smart-home control, there are requirements for miniaturisation, security and advanced control logic of individual member of system at present. One of the challenges is the way of data collecting from terminal nodes and data processing, including their distribution to the others nodes of Smart-home. The goal of this thesis is to design and to produce Smart-home control node, which will be a gateway between sensoric net and database and will be developed and produced on embedded system with speci c HW boards. Functionality of this gateway should include error states, e.g. should cache sensor messages when the connection between gateway and server interrupts, or take care about time synchronising. The thesis describes theoretical side of gateway design and also practical side of programming and producing SW for the gateway in Smart-home system.

Optimalizace komumikačních protokolů / Communication Protocol Optimization

Buno, Petr January 2015 (has links)
This thesis deals with smart home issue, analyzes existing solutions and is focused on the system that is developed in collaboration with FIT VUT in Brno. The emphasis is on the description of client application for control and monitoring of smart home system. Furthermore, the work discussed base theoretical knowledge from internet communication field, which is closely related to these issues. The core of the work is to design a communication protocol between the server and a mobile device. Finally, the work also includes a description of a network layer at the device using this protocol. The last part is devoted to testing and evaluation of the final solution.

Vzdálené ovládání inteligentní domácnosti / Smarthome Home Remote Control

Podmolík, Leopold January 2015 (has links)
The aim of the thesis was to ensure simple and clear operation while providing users the ability to monitor and analyze the current historical data from sensors in the smart home. Beyond the task I have extended the work on the Windows Phone platform. Designed user interface based on the requirements for intelligent home control in the project IoT (Internet of Things), which are written in this work. Tests were conducted using the available auto-mated testing and continuous testing at alpha and beta. Finally, the quality of the interface and user friendliness assessed using questionnaires.
