O novo modelo de acumulação capitalista, a “acumulação flexível”, baseado na maximização dos lucros em prejuízo dos direitos trabalhistas tem gerado a precarização do emprego, um desemprego em escala global relacionado à exclusão social e o aumento da pobreza em países de economia periférica, como é o caso do Brasil. Contudo, formas de resistência são encontradas pelas populações com o objetivo de gerar trabalho e renda. Uma dessas formas é a economia solidária (ES). A economia solidária resgata uma cultura em que o trabalho cooperativado, guiado pela união, solidariedade e reciprocidade, contribui para a reparação do tecido social, gerando renda e desenvolvimento em espaços nos quais o trabalho cooperado é ressignificado. Esta dissertação estuda um exemplo de iniciativa de ES organizada em uma rede de colaboração solidária: a Rede Justa Trama - Cadeia Produtiva do Algodão Ecológico, na qual participam homens e mulheres que são agricultores, coletores de sementes, fiadoras, tecedores e costureiras. Essa cadeia tem uma representação espacial muito significativa. Inicia em Tauá (CE) com o plantio do algodão agroecológico, o fio é beneficiado em Pará de Minas (MG), na Cooperativa de Produção Têxtil (Coopertêxtil). Posteriormente, inserem-se a Cooperativa Fio Nobre em Itajaí (SC) e a Cooperativa Unidas Venceremos em Porto Alegre (RS), onde são feitos os produtos com a marca Justa Trama. As roupas são decoradas com sementes e tinturas fornecidas pela Cooperativa Açaí de Porto Velho (RO). Esta dissertação tem como objetivo principal identificar, através das unidades de significação presentes nas falas dos empreendedores envolvidos com a Rede Justa Trama, os elementos formadores de novas territorialidades/identidades (ressignificação dos espaços), baseadas nos valores da reciprocidade (entre os empreendimentos) e da solidariedade (relações compartilhadas pelas pessoas na rede), que fazem parte do ideário do cooperativismo solidário. Optou-se, durante a pesquisa de campo, pelo uso de entrevistas não diretivas e de conversas (dirigidas) que foram gravadas e posteriormente transcritas, por considerar este procedimento o mais adequado para a realização de uma pesquisa que tem no seu cerne a representação dos indivíduos e os modos com os quais ressignificam sua interação espacial e econômica, bem como os seus sentimentos de pertencimento à Rede. O sucesso da Rede Justa Trama requer, todavia, que outras iniciativas semelhantes prosperem e, nesse sentido, a cadeia produtiva do algodão ecológico é uma referência. Ao conquistarem um campo favorável ao surgimento de novas articulações que levem ao florescimento de novas teias e arranjos produtivos locais, os sujeitos da Rede confirmam seu protagonismo. Mas, além disso, oferecem provas de que o território da Justa Trama é um campo aberto ao estudo da Geografia. / The new model of capitalist accumulation, the "flexible accumulation", based on profit maximization to the detriment of labor rights, has been increasing precarious work, global scale unemployment related to social exclusion, and poverty in peripheral economies, like Brazil. However, forms of resistance arose from people seeking to generate employment and income. One of these forms is solidarity economy (SE). Solidarity economy restores a culture where worker cooperatives (guided by union, solidarity and reciprocity) generate income and development and contribute to repair the social tissue of spaces where cooperative work has been reassigned. This dissertation examines an example of SE initiative organized in a solidarity collaboration network: the Justa Trama Network - a supply chain of ecological cotton where small farmers, seed collectors, spinners, weavers, and seamstresses are involved. This chain is quite spatially significant. It begins in Tauá, in Northeast Brazil, where agroecological cotton is planted. The cotton thread is then developed in Pará de Minas, in the Southeast, at the Textile Production Cooperative (Coopertêxtil). Subsequently, they are joined by the Fio Nobre Cooperative, in Itajaí, and the Unidas Venceremos Cooperative, in Porto Alegre, both in Southern Brazil, where products of the Justa Trama brand are made. Clothes are embellished with seeds and dyes supplied by the Açaí Cooperative, from Porto Velho, in Northern Brazil. By analyzing meaning units within the speech of entrepreneurs involved in the Justa Trama Network, this dissertation aims to identify the forming elements of new territorialities/identities (space reassignment), based on reciprocity (among entrepreneurs) and solidarity (shared relations among people in the Network), values which are part of solidarity cooperativism. The chosen field research method was non-directive interviews and (focused) conversations, which were recorded and transcribed later. This method was considered the most adequate proceeding for a research focusing on the representation of individuals and the means by which they reassign spatial and economic interaction, as well as their sense of belonging to the Network. However, for the Justa Trama Network to succeed, other initiatives must also succeed, to which the ecological cotton supply chain is a reference. By dominating a field that favors the beginning of new articulations leading to the birth of new nets and local production arrangements, subjects of the Network are asserting their role as protagonists. Furthermore, they prove that Justa Trama's territory is a field that is open to the study of Geography.
