Tal estudo foi perspectivado pela análise da trajetória eclesiástica do monsenhor José Silvério Horta (1859-1933) que, por meio de suas atuações e narrativas, foi construído como um modelo exemplar de pastor das almas em Minas Gerais. Em seus escritos (auto)biográficos, documentação central da nossa pesquisa, monsenhor Horta delineou um perfil religioso de fortalecimento da instituição e de atendimento às demandas socioculturais da população mineira. Para realizar nossa análise, nos embasamos em uma abordagem da história cultural das religiões, que visa compreender as práticas religiosas dentro de uma sociedade por meio de suas representações, mediações e apropriações / Abstract: This research consists in the interpretation of the religious practices of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in the Archdiocese of Mariana linked to the spirituality of the Good Shepherd and the representation of the priest as a shepherd of souls. This study was conducted by analyzing the ecclesiastical trajectory of the Monsignor José Silvério Horta (1859-1933) that, through his performances and narratives, was built as an exemplary model of shepherd of souls in Minas Gerais. In his (auto) biographical writings, central documentation of our research, Monsignor Horta outlined a religious profile of the strengthening of the institution and incorporating the socio-cultural demands of the population. To execute our analysis, we rely on an approach of the cultural history of religions, which aims to understand the religious practices within a society through its representations, mediations and appropriations / Mestrado / Historia Cultural / Mestre em História

Das Lexikon ist - in seinem jetzigen Stand - Ergebnis der Forschungen und Recherchen von Frau Dr. Anke Napp (Hamburg). Es entstand 1996 aus dem Wunsch heraus, Interessierten sowie Fachkollegen Artikel zu möglichst vielen Aspekten des Templerordens zu liefern, von einzelnen Ordenshäusern und herausragenden Mitgliedern, über Spiritualität, Kritik und Nachleben bis hin zu dem berühmt-berüchtigten Prozess. Vermerkte Quellen und weiterführende Literatur in diversen Sprachen bieten die Möglichkeit eigener weiterführender Forschungen. Rezensionen nicht nur von Fachliteratur, sondern auch aktuellen TV-Serien oder Computerspielen zeigen den Einfluss des Templermotivs in unserer modernen Popkultur. Seit 2003 steht das Lexikon online zur Verfügung, was seine ständige Aktualisierung, Erweiterung mit neuen Artikeln, Fotos, eine Verlinkung zu Originalquellen in Archiven und unbeschränkten Zugriff weltweit erlaubt. Einige freie Mitarbeiter haben im Laufe der Zeit zu einzelnen Artikeln beigetragen. Hier können Sie sich über einzelne Ereignisse aus der Ordensgeschichte informieren, über besondere Personen, Orte und Mythen, die mit den Templern in Verbindung gebracht werden. Beigefügt ist jeweils eine Bibliographie mit den Quellen des Textes und weiterführender Literatur.

The Scriptures, as found in the Old and New Testaments, are foundational to a genuine Christian spirituality. Among the different existing approaches to spirituality, the evangelical and charismatic churches in South Africa today need to rediscover a distinctive biblical approach to spirituality for themselves in order to facilitate the discipleship of their own members. A holistic biblical spirituality can also serve society in practical ways and challenge the perceptions and practices of a South African society which is seeking to advance without religious foundations. / Philosophy and Systematic Theology / M.Th.
