Srovnání sušících režimů pomocí numerických simulací

Ryšávka, Filip January 2017 (has links)
This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of drying modes mutually developed between them and their subsequent comparison with the standard. In the work, there is also theoretical analysis of humidity and temperature flow and numerical simulation process of drying wood created in a computer program COMSOL Multiphysics, which based on the finite element method. Assembled mathematical model of motion of bound moisture and temperature field in the wood is based on a set of two partial differential equations, and also on the respective boundary conditions III. regulations. Own model of the drying based on generally orthotropic material properties of wood in non-stationary diffusion of moisture and heat. It is therefore a transport model, which uses the gradient of humidity and temperature as the driving force and the material coefficients such as variables depending on the humidity, temperature, density and other essential parameters of the dried material. The main contribution of this work is the ability to improve optimization of selected drying modes with the possibility of application to the next.

Revitalizační úpravy vybraného úseku vodního toku Rokytná

Hedejová, Aneta January 2017 (has links)
This dissertation "Revitalisation of a specific section of Rokytná water current" focuses on the respective water current between the 85,989 and the 86,999 kilometre. This section of the river is located in a land register of Rokytnice nad Rokytnou, a village approximately 10 kilometres West from Třebíč in the Vysočina region. The waterway of the river Rokytná was inappropriately shaped as straight, with the riverbed significantly entrenched constant triangular profile along the entire section. Moreover, an alley of tree species was planted along this section of the river, which further exacerbated its problematic aspects. The aim of this dissertation is to suggest a solution in line with current requirements for small-water current revitalisation projects. Moreover, the proposed solution will strengthen the ecological and aesthetical functions of the river.

Education as a Political Act: Dewey, Freire and the (International Baccalaureate) Theory of Knowledge Curriculum

DARWISH, BABOR 11 August 2009 (has links)
Active learning should be the ultimate aim of education. I argue that it is a three interrelated-step model of curriculum: one which promotes critical thinking, involves dialogue and ultimately indicates growth. It is a model intertwined in an intricate web of ideas borrowed from John Dewey and Paulo Freire. In this thesis, I analyze the International Baccalaureate (IB) Theory of Knowledge (TOK) curriculum as an example of a document that seeks to foster active learning. To be able to analyze whether the IB TOK curriculum promotes active learning, I dissect the curriculum in terms of its philosophy and objectives. Curriculum theorists do not agree on a universal definition of curriculum. Therefore, I explore four distinctive theories of curriculum and theory in order to find a definition that best fits the IB TOK curriculum and philosophy: 1) curriculum as a body of knowledge to be deposited, 2) curriculum as a product theory, 3) curriculum as a process, and 4) curriculum as praxis. I argue that in order for active learning to take place, the three components of active learning need to exist together. Active learning needs to promote critical thinking as a means to understanding one’s self and others. And, active learning needs to involve dialogue to enable people to become fully aware of their own position within the community and the world, and that of others. Critical thinking and dialogue in turn ensure growth. Growth is defined in terms of conscientização and Praxis; this is premised on two conditions: 1) to become aware of the realities in one’s life; and, 2) to take informed and practical actions to change these assumptions. It is then, I argue, that learning becomes active. It is indeed, as Freire would say, breaking away from ‘silence’ imposed on us by oppressors and attaining “the freedom of the learner” in Dewey’s words. It is only through active learning that individuals can critically think, enter a meaningful dialogue with others, and ultimately have the courage to act, and as a result create a life which is meaningful—not just for themselves but for everyone. / Thesis (Master, Education) -- Queen's University, 2009-08-07 17:56:13.739

Studie návrhu záplavového území na vybraném vodním toku Uherskohradišťska

Straková, Magdalena January 2014 (has links)
This thesis deals with a proposal for flood area in cadastral district of a town Hluk. Proposed area is defined from 12,805 to 15,495 rkm, total lenght of proposal is 2,69 km. Data for the creation of flood area of Hluk were provided by The Moravia River Basin, s.e. Brno. The analysis of flood area was done by using the computer program HEC - RAS. The final flood area for proposed flow Q100 was done in the computer program AutoCAD. The thesis is complemented by drawing documentation and photografic documentation. Key words: flood, HEC - RAS, transverse profile, the river Okluky

Návrh rekonstrukce doprovodné vegetace vodního toku

Orságová, Kristína January 2015 (has links)
Dissertation topic "Reconstruction design of accompanying vegetation watercourse" deals with silvicultural measures, which will improve the current state of accompanying vegetation. This topic is dealt with on a specific model object. In the introductory part I deal with general problems of small watercourses, their divisions and characteristics. This part include as well bank issues versus accompanying vegetation. The functions of accompanying vegetation are also defined. In the next part of my thesis I deal with a specific model object, a broader territorial relations of area and its natural conditions. The current state of vegetation is critically evaluated and subsequently executed the proposal of reconstruction of the accompanying vegetation.

Studie revitalizace vybraného úseku Anšovského potoka cca km 4,0 - 5,1

Křeček, Stanislav January 2016 (has links)
The thesis summarizes essential available information describing the chosen part of a small stream called the Anšovský potok. The next part describes the current state of its streambed, riparian vegetation and its surroundings. The thesis also includes description of the current views on revitalization of small watercourses and proposes possible revitalization modifications of the selected part of the stream. The suggested solution is based on the new land arrangement designed within the comprehensive land consolidation that was completed at the village Šanov in early 2016. In the context of the proposed modifications this study offers two conceptual solutions differing in their technical and financial demands and in the extent of use of the natural processes of ecological restoration. The study represents the information base for future revitalization projects of the Anšovský potok stream.
