Läs- och skrivundervisning i skolan : En intervjuundersökning om hur lärare arbetar för att främja barns grundläggande

Carlsson, Anna January 2007 (has links)
<p>Abstract</p><p>The purpose of this research paper is to study which methods teachers are using to develop children’s reading and writing skills. The purpose is also to investigate necessarily conditions to individualize the teaching of reading and writing.</p><p>The qualitative research is based on interviews with six elementary school teachers. The interviewed teachers think that it is important to see every child individually to be able to develop the reading and writing skills. Education can only be stimulating and delightful when it is individualized. In spite of this, the result shows that the majority of the teachers are using only one method when teaching children reading and writing. The teachers agree that there should be collaboration with the children’s previous teachers to be able to know each child faster. Mapping and documentation are also useful for teachers. The result of the study also shows that computers and fiction books are good complements to the regular reading and writing teaching. The most common reading and writing methods among the teachers are a combination of the sound imitating method and the full word method. Success in individualizing depends on the access of remedial teacher and the number of stand by teachers. Furthermore, it is immensely important that all teaching is well thought-out and well planned, according to the interviewed teachers.</p><p>My conclusions are that teachers have to offer a lot of different methods in order to get all children the same conditions for their learning. I feel that it’s important to meet and see every child and their needs. To be able to do so teachers must vary their approach when children learn to read and write.</p>

Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-29T14:23:06Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 Luciano Gaspar.pdf: 1342989 bytes, checksum: 2adb8081f31a71914dc0e2627497482b (MD5) Previous issue date: 2012-05-10 / The aspects that affect the complexity in the development of systems are, also, barriers to the teaching and learning process of software modeling. Many techniques, tools and processes are adopted in this specific kind of teaching, although, one of the greatest issues found in this task is to create conditions in order to make the student experiment such a complexity in the classroom. The adoption of criteria for software quality analysis is an option that, into the architectural prospect, can reveal that, even the algorithm with few code lines are fragile and, along their life cycle, may present problems of scalability, maintenance and reuse. In this aspect, the purpose of this research is to evaluate if the codes produced by the student, supported by the concepts and techniques of the State Model, will express the initial characteristics of a modularized structure. A tool which extends the functions of the BlueJ teaching environment was developed and it is presented in this paper. That tool, associated with the BlueJ native resources and the State Machines learning make it possible for the student to accomplish software model descriptions according to the structural and environmental code prospects / Os aspectos que afetam a complexidade no desenvolvimento de sistemas também são barreiras para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de modelagem de software.

Gestaltungs- und Einsatzkonzeption multimedialer (interaktiver) Lehr- und Lernumgebungen für den Einsatz im Bildungswesen Mosambiks - Prototypische Lösung für die Informatikgrundausbildung / Designing and Usefulness conception of multimedia Teaching and Learning environments fpr the use in education system of Mozambique - Prototype solution for computer science basic training

Singo, Felisberto 24 April 2002 (has links) (PDF)
This report begins with the presentation of &amp;quot;the state of the art&amp;quot; as well as the foreseen trend in the education system in Mozambique and analyses the present situation in the area utilizing media opportunities for teaching and/or learning. Basing on this analysis, the prevailing problems and the aims (this might need research) of the study shall then be identified and formulated (chapter 1 and 2). The necessity to carry out the study is grounded by the worldwide stormy developments utilizing modern information technology. These developments do also apply to Mozambique as the pre-studies show. A flashback on the history of teaching-/learning system as well as on present solutions utilizing new media and new information as well as communication technology shall be discussed in the third chapter. To this end, the study shall contribute to identify the lacking of previous concepts as well as to introduce an orientation as to the current world sustainable system. The software for training on the market at present show (without doubt) that they reflect developers' imaginations (knowingly or unknowingly) as to what learning and teaching actually is and how this process take place. Basing on this knowledge, it is worth to work out the starting point as to teaching-/learning methodology before working out a conception. In addition, it shall be made clear (in the course of analysis) that the dominating criterion for customizing a teaching-/learning system is that system or its form that has been realised. The contribution of this report, further, is to make the definition of the media more precise by adding new terminology that shall be discussed and viewed from different viewpoints. This shall in turn contribute to a clear and sound understanding of the media. In the past years, a series of different teaching and methodologies concepts on the design of computer-based teaching-/learning environment were developed and discussed. Among them is the so called &amp;quot;anchored instruction&amp;quot; of the cognition and Technology Group based at Vanderbilt University and the Cognitive Apprenticeship developed by Collins, Brown and their co-workers. This shall be dealt with in the fourth chapter. On that basis, and taking other factors into consideration, such as design, functionality, applications scenarios, boundary conditions as well as user backgrounds, a more effective teaching-/learning environment can be predicted and consequently a concrete design proposal can be derived. The guidelines strived as to the design of context-sensitive multimedia teaching and learning environment shall not only be treated intuitive, but implemented technically in a prototype. In so doing they can then be evaluated and adopted. The so evaluated guidelines and other relevant design proposals that can find use in other areas with respect to the demand of the study as a whole shall make the results of this report. The fifth chapter shall describe the development and evaluation of prototype-art &amp;quot;e-Aula&amp;quot; solutions basing on the developed and grounded conception. The conception constitutes of a hybrid solution in the form of training software that supports both freelance as well as classroom learning. This training technology solution is called teaching-/learning environment and it is being characterised through its feature that it embodies two system interfaces having functions (learning environment and teaching arrangement) that basically refer to the same data collection (media) that can be accessed by the in different ways. This function rates &amp;quot;e-Aula&amp;quot; at a relatively higher position in comparison with a number of learning systems. The sixth chapter shall then summarise the important findings of the report and recommend areas for further research. &amp;quot;Teaching Arrangements&amp;quot; nutzen lassen.
