Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento CientÃfico e TecnolÃgico / Esta dissertaÃÃo tem por objetivo compreender a relaÃÃo da campesinidade com a terra, tomando como campo de descriÃÃo e anÃlise empÃrica a comunidade conhecida pelo nome de Bonitinho, no municÃpio de CanindÃ-CE. Busquei, por meio de uma abordagem etnogrÃfica, conhecer a visÃo de mundo expressa pelos agricultores no referente ao sentimento de pertencer a determinado territÃrio e no que concerne à organizaÃÃo social e ao saber agrÃcola de moradores que cultivam gÃneros alimentares em roÃados da famÃlia, por descenderem de um patriarca comum. Esse territÃrio à definido por seus moradores como âterras de heranÃaâ. O trabalho de pesquisa, que ocorreu entre os anos de 2005 e 2013, focalizou, portanto, a apreensÃo dos valores e visÃo de mundo desses camponeses que orientam sua relaÃÃo com a terra atravÃs de normas estabelecidas pela prÃpria comunidade. Nesses termos foram observadas singularidades na apropriaÃÃo dos recursos naturais consubstanciada no usufruto e sucessÃo da terra, bem como na aquisiÃÃo de bens mÃveis e imÃveis a partir de relaÃÃes sociais solidÃrias estabelecidas mediante o critÃrio do parentesco. / The objective of this paper is to understand the relationship between peasants and land, taking as field of description and empirical analysis the community of Bonitinho, in CanindÃ-CearÃ-Brazil. The present study tried to comprehend, through an ethnographical approach, the world-view of the farmers regarding the feeling of belonging to a certain area, and also as regard to the social organization and knowledge of the agricultural residents, who grow food in the plantings of the family by the fact of descend from a common patriarch. This area is defined by its residents as âland of heritageâ. The research, which was carried out between the years 2005 and 2013, focused on the process of value apprehension of these residents and their worldview, which are responsible for guiding them in their relationship with the land through the standards established by the very community. Thus were observed singularities in the way they use the natural resources based on the right of use and heritage of the land, as well as in the acquisition of movable and immovable property through the supportive social relations established according to the degree of relatedness.
