PADRÕES DO USO DO TEMPO POR BEZERRAS RECEBENDO OU NÃO SUPLEMENTO EM PASTAGEM DE AZEVÉM / PATTERNS OF TIME USE BY BEEF HEIFERS RECEIVING SUPPLEMENT OR NOT IN ITALIAN RYEGRASS PASTURE

Hampel, Viviane da Silva 21 February 2014 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The experiment was carried out to evaluate the time pattern is used by heifers, at two phenological stages of ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.), in four daily shifts. Heifers remained exclusively on pasture or grazing and receiving a supplement (oats or corn grain), in the proportion of 0.93% of body weight. Supplements were fed at 14 o'clock, Monday to Saturday. The grazing was continuous with a variable number of animals. The experimental design was completely randomized in a sub-subdivided plots arrangement. Ingestive behavior was assessed by 24 hours of visual observation, in four evaluation dates: two in the vegetative stage and two in the reproductive stage. Grazing time, ruminating and other activities, the number, duration and interval between meals were studied. Heifers receiving supplement remain less time at feeding station and perform fewer bites daily. In the reproductive stage of the ryegrass supplemented heifers stay longer in other activities. The grazing time of heifers receiving supplement is lower in the morning shift and in the night shift. The duration of the meals is lower at night, when the heifers receive supplement. The pattern of time use of the heifers is altered by receiving supplement and the change of the structural and qualitative characteristics of ryegrass during the phenological growth stages.

Faktory hodnoty start-up projektů pro investory v České republice a metody oceňování / Value drivers of startup projects relevant for venture capital investors in the Czech Republic and valuation methods

Habrnal, Marek January 2013 (has links)
The main objective was to create a normative model of determining the value of early stage for companies in the seed and start up stage. The model should be applicable to entrepreneurs and investors, taking into account the assessment of the value of qualitative factors. Another aim was to identify the significant factors affecting the value of early stage companies in the seed and start up stage, i.e. at a time when there are no or very little revenues. Based on a research among investors and other experts on the valuation of early stage companies and venture capital, the most significant factors were not only identified, but also determined by their weight. The quality of evaluating investment opportunities has a major impact on the profitability of the investor´s capital. Current knowledge of the key value drivers and the mechanisms of valuation can help businesses to set realistic expectations when trying to raise capital to finance the startup of the project. It is therefore necessary to provide a clear methodological framework applicable to both parties of investing. The actual research was divided into two phases - individual interviews with investors and questionnaires. It was confirmed that the most crucial factors are those associated with quality management and company founders.

Hygstedt, Tilda, Holm, Marcus January 2022 (has links)
Title: #InstaRealEstateAgent - A qualitative study of real estate agents' use of Instagram Authors: Marcus Holm and Tilda Hygstedt Aim: The purpose of this study is to examine how and why real estate agents' use the social media platform Instagram as a work tool. Furthermore, the study also intends to investigate how they create credibility and present themselves by using Instagram and what the pros and cons are when mixing private and work-related content.  Method/Material: The main method used in this study is qualitative interviews with five real estate agents from different agencies in Stockholm. The interviews have been complemented with content analysis of image and text of four Instagram posts from each real estate agent. Main results: The main results from this study show that the real estate agents who participated use Instagram to show who they are, maintain contact with existing clients but also as a type of portfolio. They want to appear open, positive and hard-working and therefore combine content from both private and working life. In this way, customers and others can get a clear picture of who they are and what they like. However, they believe that one must be careful when sharing events from private life. Too much and the wrong kind of things can damage one's reputation and credibility. Integrering av Design Thinking i en Stage-Gate process : En studie om integrering av iterativa produktutvecklingsprocesser / Integration of Design Thinking in a Stage-Gate process

Artaza Rosso, Florencia, Bäckström, Filip January 2023 (has links)
The famous linear Stage-Gate process has over the years become the standard product development process for most large manufacturing companies. Technological innovation is occurring at a fast-pace and new technologies are constantly being developed, meaning that companies must adapt if they want to remain competitive. The iterative product development processes have become in recent years increasingly popular, among them, Design Thinking. Since research on the coexistence of these both processes within the same organization is very limited. The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge about how companies can work with the integration of iterative processes, more specifically Design Thinking in a Stage-Gate process. The study began with a literature research with the aim to acquire knowledge and understanding of iterative and linear development processes linked to process structure and user involvement. Part of the study was based on an empirical study in the format ofsemi-structured interviews in order to collect data with the support of the theoreticalbackground. The interviews aimed to investigate the possible combination of DesignThinking and Stage-Gate within the same organization. The results of these interviews were analyzed in the interest of answering questions about strategies and approaches to how and when Design Thinking can be implemented in a linear process. Three internationally well-established companies have participated in the study. These three companies have previous experience of working with Design Thinking and were selected for this study because they have successfully implemented these processes. The companies that participated in this study had something in common, they all see the importance of working iteratively in development projects and they have seen considerable opportunities in the form of time savings if they are willing to invest the time required for training. They also agree that user involvement is crucial for a successful project, but the implementation faces a number of challenges that can be overcome by making the right decisions. The companies have adapted Design Thinking and Stage-Gate processes according to their sector and current process structure, which results in this report not describing a generally adapted process but several alternative processes.
