This art project concerns itself with the notion of travelling space as a continuous state of experience perceived by a traveller, in contrast to something that has previously taken place. Travelling space takes into account the physical movement of a traveller and also that of the space travelled by a viewer - it reveals a dichotomy: that of travelling within a certain space; and the space created through the act of travelling.Travelling space is to negotiate thresholds of seeing, experience, imagination and movement. The travel, made evident through video-trace, installed in spatial arrangements within a gallery context project the possibility of a third dimension to travelling space - that of a homeless state where viewers may abandon the space created by video sequences, to travel a virtual space of their own making.

O turismo tem apresentado uma demanda mundial cada vez maior e, por conseguinte, há uma crescente necessidade de preservar o meio ambiente com vistas às gerações futuras. O geoturismo e a roteirização, são ferramentas que podem ser utilizadas para este fim. Este trabalho visa, portanto, integrar dados turísticos, através do Sensoriamento Remoto com dados altimétricos representados por um Modelo Digital de Elevação - MDE. Desta forma, esta sistemática permite desenvolver um ambiente virtual onde o usuário pode realizar vôos cênicos em 3D (terceira dimensão) sobre o município de Três Cachoeiras e realizar, com isso um planejamento eficaz de suas atividades turísticas antes mesmo de ir a campo. Com a imagem de alta resolução espacial IKONOS (1m) sobreposta ao MDE é possível caracterizar a região e definir critérios, como por exemplo, a declividade do terreno para avaliar cada percurso. Estas ferramentas permitem, portanto, o estabelecimento de critérios de deslocamento e aos níveis de dificuldade para cada percurso. O diferencial da cultura de células em 3-dimensões é permitir que as células explorem as 3-dimensões do espaço, aumentando assim as interações com o ambiente e entre as células. Em estudos relacionados à biologia do câncer de mama, vem ganhando espaço a utilização de esferóides para estudos que visam à compreensão da morfogênese do espaço luminal. Neste trabalho foi mostrado que as células MCF-7 reorganizam-se em estruturas tubulares e acinares. Em ambas as situações, a formação do lúmen veio acompanhada pelo estabelecimento de uma camada de células polarizadas, arranjo este muito semelhante ao encontrado em glândulas mamárias. Os resultados apresentados apontam para a existência de uma população de células na linhagem MCF-7 que não estão totalmente comprometidas ao fenótipo tumoral. Mantidos diferenciados, os esferóides de células MCF-7 apontam como um novo modelo para estudos relacionados à formação do lúmen, permitindo assim explorar o papel de diferentes vias como as relacionadas a apoptose, autofagia, diferenciação e sobrevivência celular. / As a particularity, a 3D cell culture permits cells to explore the three dimensions of the space thereby increasing cell-cell interactions, as well as interaction with the environment. In studies related to breast cancer biology, spheroids are becoming widely used in the aim to comprehend luminal space morphogenesis. We showed that MCF-7 cells reorganize themselves in tubular and acinar structures. In both situations, lumen formation was accompanied by the establishment of a layer of polarized cells, an arrangement that is very similar to that of breast glands. The presented results suggest the existence of an MCF cell line population not completely committed to the tumor phenotype. When maintained as differentiated, MCF-7 cell spheroids can be a new model for studies regarding lumen formation, thereby exploring the role of diiferent pathways, such as those related to cell apoptosis, autophagy, differentiation and survival.

As implicações dessa nova Geometria foram tão abrangentes que influiu na elaboração da Teoria da Relatividade, de Einstein. Um novo tipo de intercomunicação entre matemática-ciência-arte, que ajudou a resolver questões ligadas a quadrimensionalidade. Enfim, trata-se de uma intercomunicação que influenciou na produção de artistas como Picasso, Duchamp e Dali. / We can say that the Gothic Cathedral, veritable Bibles of stone, are medieval sign that can be read as a result of the intercommunication among mathematicsscience- art, since that one buildings appear from an architectonic projection, from the utilization of a given geometry just as from the execution of a group of sculpture. We can salient that this intercommunication intensifies during Renaissance, example maximum of the union among those three fields of knowledge. The story becomes different when some mathematicians around 1800 begin thinking on the possibility of another geometry that doesn\'t that of Euclids. Appears, then, a kind of geometry that would be known as non-Euclidean Geometry: a geometry to be used in curved space. The implications of that new Geometry was so in-depth that influenced the elaboration of Einsteins Relativity Theory. Therefore a new kind of intercommunication among mathematics-science-art, which it helped to resolve questions linked together to the fourth dimension. A wide bibliographic research was used for the preparation of the text, applying the deductive method for the achievement of the conclusions. The text was divided into seven chapters, as follows: 1) Fundamental rights in 1988 Constitution; 2) Consumers Right as third dimension fundamental right; 3) Defense of consumers rights in Brazil; 4) Ineffectiveness of State in the defense of consumers rights; 5) Microsystem of Consumers Right Code; 6) Class action in Brazil; 7) Conclusion. The initial concern was the ineffectiveness of State in the defense of consumer s rights, particularly before the public numbers of National System of Consumer's Defense - NSCD, which shows the reduced numbers of Procons in Brazil in contrast with high number of consumer's lawsuits. In this scenario, the necessary doubt about the correct state structure for consumer's defense arises, for millions of individual demands could be substituted with class actions, thereby reducing the pressure on the Judiciary Power and increasing the social response. The application of the class actions proves to be more appropriate with judicial defense of consumer's rights, most importantly in face of being third dimension fundamental right, thereinafter. The correct approach of fundamental rights in the Brazilian Constitution and showing those rights as fundamentals of third dimension were shown therein, followed by the analysis of state defense of consumers rights, both judicially and non judicially. In the sequence the microsystem of Consumers Defense Code was thoroughly assessed with the purpose of showing the judicial defense of consumer's rights, although it can individually performed, it must be made by class actions by the State, organs and entities. The next step was the assessment of the Brazilian Class Actions as a way to assure the effectiveness of the fundamental right ruled by 5º, XXXII, of 1988 Brazilian Federal Constitution / A tese visa esclarecer os mecanismos que permitirão a materialização do direito fundamental insculpido no inc. XXXII do art. 5º da Constituição federal de 1988, estabelecer os mecanismos pelo qual o Estado protegerá o consumidor brasileiro como reflexo da proteção que deve ser outorgada aos direitos de terceira dimensão. Ampla pesquisa bibliográfica foi utilizada para a construção do texto, com o método dedutivo para fixação das conclusões. O texto foi dividido em sete capítulos: 1) Os direitos fundamentais na Constituição de 1988; 2) O Direito do Consumidor como direito fundamental de terceira dimensão; 3) A defesa do consumidor no Brasil; 4) A ineficácia do Estado na defesa dos direitos do consumidor; 5) O microssistema do Código de Defesa do Consumidor; 6) A tutela coletiva de direitos no Brasil; e 7) Conclusão. O objeto central da pesquisa foi a ineficácia estatal na defesa dos direitos do consumidor, especialmente diante dos números publicados pelo Sistema Nacional de Defesa do Consumidor SINDEC -, que mostra o reduzido número de Procons1 no Brasil em contraste com o elevado número de demandas judiciais consumeristas2. Diante desse quadro surge a necessária dúvida sobre a correção da estrutura estatal para a defesa do consumidor, pois milhões de demandas individuais poderiam ser substituídas por ações coletivas, diminuindo a pressão sobre o Poder Judiciário e aumentando a resposta social esperada. O uso das ações coletivas se mostra consentâneo com a defesa judicial do direito do consumidor, principalmente por se tratar de direito de terceira dimensão, como se verá. Procurou-se, dessa forma, delinear corretamente os direitos fundamentais na constituição brasileira e classificar o direito do consumidor como de terceira dimensão, para, em seguida, analisar a defesa estatal dos direitos do consumidor, judicial e extrajudicialmente. Em seguida o microssistema do Código de Defesa do Consumidor foi cuidadosamente analisado, a fim de demonstrar que a defesa judicial do consumidor, em que pese a possibilidade de ser feita individualmente, deve ser tutelada coletivamente pelo Estado e por seus órgãos e entes. Passou-se, então, à análise do processo coletivo no Brasil como forma de demonstrar o poderoso instrumento de defesa dos direitos do consumidor. Na conclusão, que se seguiu, procura-se demonstrar que os direitos do consumidor, considerados de terceira dimensão, devem ser judicialmente protegidos pelo Estado com o uso de ações coletivas, a fim de garantir a materialização do direito fundamental insculpido no inc.
