Streamlining logistics management processes in Honeywell, spol. s r.o. -- Brno~o.z. company

Bejčková, Jana January 2014 (has links)
This piece of work is focused on getting particular logistics management process streamlined and on reasonable recommendations leading to improvement of the current state in any logistics company. In accordance with the thesis objective, respective working hypothesis is defined: "The correct implementation of the replenishment method as far as inventory management in a logistics company is concerned contributes to the reduction of the stock." The application of results is performed on the manufacturing site Honeywell Brno. The first section of the thesis explains logistics and its tools, processes within material and inventory management and other related theoretical issues. Further, methods that have been applied are described. Main part is focused on the streamlining the production process in the company using calculations that respect factors directly influencing a level of the stock. The comparison of Kanban and Kitting system is provided too. Last part is discussing the obtained results, their expected economic consequences and recommendations for potential implementation in logistics chains elsewhere.

Analýza významných srážkových událostí na povodí Kopaninského toku. / Analysis of selected precipitation events in the catchment of the Kopaninský stream.

ZAVŘEL, Bohuslav January 2014 (has links)
It is proven that the ongoing refinement of the quality of rainfall data hand in hand with time and space variability of the rainfall has immense effect on the management of watercourses, flood control and hydrologic modelling. The aim of this thesis is to do an analysis of selected precipitation events in the Kopaninský stream research basin for more accurate information on rainfall-runoff processes. The aim of the analysis of individual precipitation events is to evaluate differences in total precipitation and volume measurements recorded in the basin and radar estimated precipitation. The output is detailed data series of spatial and temporal distribution of major precipitation events in the GIS used as input to hydrologic models. The issues of atmospheric precipitatio and meteorological radars are discussed in the literature review, which explains selected basic concepts and principles of these topics.

Protipovodňová opatření v povodí řeky Bečvy - historie a výhledy do budoucna. / Flood-control In The Drainage Area of Bečva River - History and Prospects

POKORNÁ, Jolana January 2016 (has links)
Frequent floods of the Bečva River with increasingly more dramatic progress represent a growing threat to the region. The high cost of the solution is connected with it. This fact makes every reasonable individual think of how to prevent the floods or at least mitigate the effects on inhabitants´ lives, the regional economy and the natural environment. In 1997, there was almost no effective way to warn and protect inhabitants against the sudden arrival of flood waters. The absence of these measures kick-started changes in the field of crisis management. Although the floods of 2006 did not impact the area I am dealing with, they have definitely revealed the effectiveness and the positive trends of safety measures in population protection development. More dramatic flooding of the Becva River in 2010, tested the preparedness of not only the flood authorities, IZS (Emergency and Rescue Services), but practically all the region's inhabitants. The aim of this work is to discover if the 1997 floods started adequate flood control construction in the region, their current state and future plans. I would like to present and compare three of the most interesting studies concerning the Bečva river flood controls.

Hodnocení diversity společenstev makrozoobentosu v kontextu kvality fyzického habitatu vodnich toků / Assessment of macroinvertebrates diversity in contex of physical river habitat quality

Nováková, Barbora January 2018 (has links)
Research of macroinvertebrates is currently an important part of the assessment of stream quality. Basic characteristics influencing macroinvertebrates communities in the streams are elements from the external environment influencing streams, specifically basic geographic parameters of the site, land-use in the catchment and characteristics of the banks. These elements have a considerable influence on effect of the basic parameters in the stream, which are flow, sediment structure, input of organic material and pollution. Research part of the thesis is about the parameters influencing macroinvertebrates communities. Research area of this work includes three different catchments in the upper part of Blanice catchment area near Prachtice. There is one nature stream with forest in it's catchment, stream with a predominantly meadow basin and last stream is characterized by two distinct stretches - a revitalized section and a section with concrete bottom. The subject of this diploma thesis is evaluation of diversity of macroinvertebrates communities in all streams in the research area. Thesis evaluate communities of macroinvertebrate using a wide range of indexes (BMWP score, ASTP index, EPT index a diversity indexes) and compares their diversity by using rank-abundance graph. All results are summarized...

Návrh managementu břehových porostů u vybraných vodních toků / Proposal of bank vegetation management at the selected streams.

ŠTĚPÁN, Vladimír January 2013 (has links)
My thesis deals with the collecting of basic information and data on riparian vegetation in surroundings of the minor watecourse Rosička through field research and subsequent inventory. In the theoretical part, I outlined the theme of watercourses and their modifications, revitalization and solutions. I also focused on vegetation accompaniment of the flows and their typology. I described the riparian and associated vegetation in detail, focused on their functions and establishment and on taking care of them. The final section of the thesis includes data of my field research. Here can be found the current condition of the species structure and the state of health of the riparian vegetation.
