Vliv světového dění na vývoj cestovního ruchu v České republice ve 21. století / The Global Events and Processes Impact on the Tourism Development in the Czech Republic in the 21st Century

The thesis analyses the essential determinants of the global importance which are currently causing the turbulent changes in the immediate and wider context of leisure and travel. The tourism industry is an important part of the national economy and the lifestyle. The global factors and their impact on the field of tourism were identified through the academic resources and a survey realized in Autumn and Winter 2009/10. A questionnaire was used for data collecting and a sample of 104 respondents was created. The following determinants were described: the level of political stability in tourism destination including the risk of terrorist attacks and other violence risks, the global financial crisis, the natural disasters and the occurrence of infectious diseases. The development of tourism is also affected by the world-wide globalization, the changing climate, the ageing of population, the greater mobility and the mass leisure including the process of changing values. The results of the empirical survey confirmed the validity of the given hypothesis. Finally the recommendations for the tourism businesses resulting from the analysis were introduced.

The first part deals with basic definitions and theories of destination management and marketing. The second part is devoted to tourism in Hradec Králové Region. It includes an analysis of the key factors of tourism development, an analysis of the current situation of tourism in the region, a SWOT analysis, and possibilities for further tourism development.

In the second part there are realized analysis, which are focused on evaluate of current destination condition, including analysis of touristic demand and comparison with the biggest competitors. Closing part is dealing with the design of the products, which should make touristic destinations more attractive.

Seasonality as a typical feature of tourism - case study: Kryštofovo Údolí Abstract The diploma thesis examines the issue of the seasonality of tourism. The first goal was to contribute to the discussion of the seasonality of tourism in the context of sustainable tourism and the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourism. The theoretical framework is based on Czech and foreign professional literature. The second goal was to create a proposal for an off- season offer for a selected model area - Kryštofovo Údolí in the Liberec Region. The village can be proud of the unprecedented Novinský viaduct, the all-wooden church of St. Christopher from the 17th century, an astronomical clock, the Museum of Nativity Scenes, natural attractions, and the conservation zone, which was established mainly thanks to half-timbered cottages. The specific of the village is also a pedestal, a historical type of house construction, which is not commonly seen outside the Czech-Polish-German border area (Trojzemí). In order to accomplish the second goal, it was necessary to anchor the characteristics of the area in terms of tourism and also in general on the basis of many diverse sources. El artículo que se presenta a continuación tiene como objetivo general Analizar los factores clave de éxito del destino de Lambayeque para desarrollar estrategias de marketing turístico. Para obtener información de ambas variables se utilizó una entrevista con enunciados que se podían calificar por la escala de Likert y también preguntas abiertas, por consiguiente, los entrevistados fueron los actores del sector turismo y hotelero de la región Lambayeque, el tipo de investigación es cualitativa. En cuanto a la metodología empleada, tuvo un nivel descriptivo, de tipo aplicada, no experimental. Porsu lado los resultados que se obtuvieron de las entrevistas, fue que, existe poco apoyo de las autoridades para promover el turismo, y a falta de ello, muchas empresas dedicadas alturismo, trabajan de manera individual y la clave del éxito de un destino es que trabajen todos en conjunto, ya que así se puede lograr un mayor turismo no solo nacional, si no también internacional. Lo que se menciona más dentro de las respuestas obtenidas, es quese debe trabajar mucho más con las redes sociales, para promover el turismo, ya que es una pieza fundamental para dar a conocer el potencial del departamento de Lambayeque. Finalmente, se realizó una propuesta en relación a las estrategias que se pueden emplear para mejorar el turismo en Lambayeque. / The article presented below has the general objective of analyzing the key success factorsof the Lambayeque destination to develop tourism marketing strategies. To get information on both variables, an interview was used with statements that could be qualified by the Likert scale and also open questions, therefore, the interviewees were theactors of the tourism and hotel sector of the Lambayeque region, the type of research is qualitative. Regarding the methodology used, it had a descriptive level, applied, not experimental. On the other hand, the results obtained from the interviews were that there is little support from the authorities to promote tourism, and in the absence of this, many companies dedicated to tourism work individually and the key to the success of a destination is Let everyone work together, since in this way greater tourism can be achieved, not only national, but also international. What is mentioned more within the responses obtained is that much more work must be done with social networks to promotetourism, since it is a fundamental piece to publicize the potential of the department of Lambayeque. Finally, a proposal was made regarding the strategies that can be used to improve tourism in Lambayeque.

The main aim of the thesis was to create a model to support decision making of destination management organization and to plan sustainable and responsible tourism development in the destination. A partial aim was to create a simplified model in which a simulation of the given system was performed. This aim has been applied to the destination of Cesky Krumlov. The contribution of the work is to find optimal decisions, policies and individual processes in order to assess the subsequent impacts and manage the development of tourism destination towards sustainability.

La tesi es planteja en quina mesura l'estructura de la xarxa social existent en un districte turístic entre els diferents actors que la conformen, i la posició que aquests ocupen en la mateixa, afecta a la estacionalitat de la demanda hotelera del districte. S'assumeix que els fluxos d'informació i coneixement entre els actors del districte, i també entre aquests i d'altres actors externs determinaran la seva capacitat d'innovació, i per tant, la seva capacitat de creació de nous productes i ofertes turístiques capaces d'atraure turistes fora de la temporada alta. Així, es pretén analitzar si els hotels millor posicionats dins de l'estructura de relacions d'un districte turístic d'àmbit comarcal es corresponen amb els que presenten una millor estacionalitat en termes d'allargament de la temporada, de mesos d'obertura i de millora de l'ocupació en els dos darrers períodes. Addicionalment, s'analitza en quina mesura els segments de mercat turístic als que els hotels dirigeixen els seus esforços expliquen les diferencies d'estacionalitat entre ells. / The thesis analyses how the structure of a social network and the position held by actors within it affect the seasonality and hotel demand within a specific tourist district.It assumes that the information and knowledge shared between the actors in the area, and also between these and other external actors, determines their capacity for innovation, and therefore their capacity for creating new products and tourist offers capable of attracting tourists outside the high season. Thus, I have analysed if the hotels which are better connected within a specific tourist district correspond to those which have less seasonality in terms of the following: a longer tourist season (i.e. open more months of the year); a higher occupancy rate in the shoulder seasons; and an improvement in seasonality over time. In addition, the thesis analyses the degree to which the segments of the tourist market targeted by the hotel industry explain the differences in seasonality between them.

The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with themes of modern technologies usable in tourism, management and development of a tourism destination and geographical information systems. The practical part of the thesis is concerned with a concept of less visited monument from four categories (castle, chateau, monastery, town and town wall) in the area of the South Bohemian region, the Vysočina region and the region Waldviertel in Lower Austria, whose target is increasing the attendance and publicizing the chosen monuments. The target of the diploma thesis is to characterize a manner of usage ICT for the management and development of the tourism destination, to identify opportunities due to situational analysis and to propose application of chosen technology for increasing competitiveness of South Bohemia as a tourism destination. Through the geographical information systems as a chosen technology the usage of maps for the management and development of the tourism destination is shown. The outcome is a proposal of several geographic and thematic products (routes).

The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the current development potential in tourism of the Votice town and then propose possible measures and initiatives to improve the utilization of this potential. First it was made an situation analysis of the town and its neighbourhood. It was found the main characteristics of this area (for example geographic, economic or demographic characteristics) including analysis of the services. Then it was conducted some interviews with the important persons. It was proposed several possible projects to improve the current situation. It´s really important, that here the principles of partnership work. Votice as a member of Mikroregion Džbány should cooperate with the other communities and companies. The other problem is a little awareness of local people about the new projects.
