Esse processo envolve atores representantes dos grupos religiosos, o Estado, grupos e indivíduos externos ao campo, identificados com a utilização da ayahuasca no estado do Acre, no Brasil e no mundo. Os dois processos, o de normatização e o de patrimonialização, foram pensados como potencialmente relevantes para a análise sociológica. Seu estudo demonstra, através da análise de discursos de atores envolvidos, as disputas entre eles (a partir da teoria dos campos de Bourdieu), suas intencionalidades e lutas para contemplá-las. Além disso, veremos como ocorre o estabelecimento de configurações diferenciadas (no sentido proposto por Elias), explorando as dinâmicas entre tradição e modernidade. A pesquisa realizada incluiu análise documental, assim como um conjunto de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com representantes do campo ayahuasqueiro, com integrantes do Poder Judiciário, do Ministério da Cultura e com intérpretes legitimados da história da ayahuasca (ou daime), além de histórias de vida de atores significativos das tradições religiosas presentes no campo estudado. Nossa tese principal é que os processos analisados representam momentos em que as tensões decorrentes do desejo de reconhecimento e legitimação – significadas em relação à dialética entre tradição e modernidade no campo ayahuasqueiro brasileiro – produzem resultados intencionados e não intencionados pelos atores em evidência no campo. / This thesis discusses the dynamics of social and political articulation in the ayahuasqueiro field in Brazil through the analysis of the broad process of public recognition of ayahuasca, which includes both its normalization and its definition as a cultural patrimony. This process involves representative actors of the religions present in this field, the State, as well as groups and individuals outside the field identified with the use of ayahuasca in the state of Acre, in Brazil and in the world. The two processes, standardization and patrimonialization, were thought as potentially relevant to the sociological analysis. Their study demonstrates, through the analysis of the discourses of the actors involved, the disputes between social actors (from the field theory of Bourdieu) and their intentions and struggles to contemplate them. In addition, we will detail the establishment of differentiated settings (in the sense proposed by Elias), exploring the dynamics between tradition and modernity. The survey included a documentary analysis, a set of semi-structured interviews carried out with significant actors in the ayahuasqueiro field, with members of the judiciary, the Culture Ministry and with legitimized interpreters of the ayahuasca story (or Daime), as well as life stories of significant religious actors affiliated to the religious traditions present in the studied field. Our main thesis is that the processes analyzed represent times when tensions arising from the desire for recognition and legitimacy – understood in relation to the dialectic between tradition and modernity in the Brazilian ayahuasqueiro field - produce results intended and not intended by the actors in the field.

Avec le développement de la recherche on peut affirmer que la communauté Kalunga vitune tension entre incorporer des éléments qui viennent de la modernisation et préserver les éléments de la tradition dans la constitution de l’êtreKalunga. / A tese que ora apresento é resultado de uma pesquisa desenvolvida na linha: Educação, Trabalho e Movimentos Sociais do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal de Goiás, tendo como objeto de estudo, o território Kalunga dos municípios de Cavalcante, Monte Alegre de Goiás e Terezinha de Goiás, cujo objetivo geral foi investigar a condição da identidade de seus atores que vivem entre a trincheira da tradição e o bombardeio da modernidade.Valho-me, como fundamentação teórica, do conhecimento praxiológico de Pierre Bourdieu e seus conceitos de capital cultural, habitus e violência simbólica, bem como do conceito de liminaridade, proposto por VictorWitter Turner. Optei pela metodologia do tipo etnográfica compreendendo depoimentos orais e documentação primária e secundária. Com o desenvolvimento da pesquisa é possível afirmar que a comunidade Kalunga vive uma tensão entre incorporar elementos que vêm da modernização e preservar os elementos da tradição na constituição do ser Kalunga.

La direction artistique de l’Académie de France à Rome et de ses pensionnaires est placée sous le patronage de l’Académie des beaux-arts. Elle détermine et réglemente les conditions de séjour et le programme des travaux annuels, les envois de Rome. Ce privilège est interrompu le 13 novembre 1863 par un décret qui lui retire sa tutelle pour la confier à l’Etat. Cette rupture est révélatrice d’une crise majeure de l’enseignement des beaux-arts en France et bien que l’Académie récupère la totalité de ses prérogatives huit ans plus tard, elle devra désormais composer avec les exigences que l’époque lui imposera, entre tradition et modernité. C’est dans cette perspective que vienne s’inscrire les pensionnaires peintres et leurs envois de Rome. Tributaires d’un enseignement et d’un système académique des beaux-arts, les lauréats des grands prix de Rome de peinture sont le symbole de la tradition. Ils sont peintres d’histoire et achèvent leur formation artistique en Italie, à Rome, au contact des grands maîtres de la Renaissance et des chef-d’œuvres de l’antiquité. Mais ils sont aussi enfants de leur siècle et à ce titre partagent les problématiques artistiques contemporaines. La question est de savoir dans quelle mesure cette présence au monde se manifeste dans leurs envois et de quelle nature sont les formes qu’elle revêt. / The artistic direction of the Académie de France à Rome and its artists in residence is placed under the patronage of the Academy of fine arts. The Academy determines and regulates the conditions of stay and the programme of annual work, the « envois de Rome ». This privilège is interrupted on the 13th November 1863 by a decree witch withdraws its guardianship to entrust it to the government. This rupture shows major crisis in fine arts education in France. even though the Academy recovers the totality of its prerogatives eight years later, from then on it has to take into account the demands that epoch imposes, oscillatin between tradition and modernity. It is in this perspective that the painters in residents and their « envois de Rome » position themselves. tributaries of the education and of the academic system of fine arts, laureates of the prix de Rome in painting are the symbol of the tradition. They are history painters and complete their artistic training in Italy, in Rome, in touch with the old masters of the Renaissance and the masterpiecies of antiquity. But they are also children of their century and for this reason they share the contemporary artistic issues . The point is to know to what extent this presence in world is manifested in their work and what is the nature of the forms it takes on.
