O objetivo deste trabalho é que, a partir dos referenciais teóricos dos estudos da tradução intersemiótica e cultural perpassando pelas relações de transtextualidade, identifique-se a aplicação da teoria literária presente na Poética na prática do cinema contemporâneo. Observou-se como elementos constituintes da tragédia clássica preceituados por Aristóteles foram adaptados para um texto fílmico atual, a exemplo do erro, reconhecimento, peripécia e mudança da fortuna. Pontuou-se também como Match Point dialoga com outros textos literários tanto através da sua trilha sonora, quanto da fala de seus personagens. / This dissertation is about the intertextual relationship between the film Match Point (2005) made by Woody Allen and the Poetics, text written in prose by Aristotle in 340 B.C.. The aim of this paper is that starting from the definition of intersemiotic and cultural translation passing through transtextual relationship, the application of the literary theory in the Poetics of Aristotle can be identified as present in a contemporary film. It was observed how some of the elements pointed by Aristotles as parts of the classic tragedy were adapted to a contemporary film, such as the error, anagnorisis, peripeteia, and reversal of fortune. It was also pointed how Match Point dialogues with other literary texts through its soundtrack and characters speech.
