Det samhälle vi lever i idag blir allt mer mobilt och människor har möjlighet att röra sig överstörre områden på kortare tid. Däremot är satsningar inom transportsystem oftast koncentrerattill områden som ger störst samhällsekonomisk lönsamhet, alltså tätorter och större samhällenmed högt antal resande. Vilket resulterar i att områden med lägre resandeantal hamnar utanfören utveckling mot ett mer mobilt och hållbart samhälle. Landsbygd innebär glesa miljöer, långaavstånd och lägre efterfrågan för alternativa färdmedel vilket skapar ett starkt beroende förprivatbilen. Denna uppsats syftar till att belysa den problematik som uppstår för mobilitet ochtillgänglighet på landsbygd. Genom enkät- och intervjustudier avgränsat till det skånska,tätortsnära landsbygdsområden Arrie har vi samlat in vårt empiriska material och sedananalyserat detta och kopplat till teorier och begrepp. Det har framkommit att bilen är oundvikligäven om satsningar görs på kollektiva noder och gång- och cykelvägar i sådana miljöer. Vilketockså är den syn som Region Skåne och Skånetrafiken har då de motiverarkombinationsresande för hållbart resande. / Our society tends to go more and more mobile while people tend to move over a greater area of land at a shorter time than ever before. Still economic investments in transport-systems tends to be located where they will have the greatest economic increase for society which are cities and bigger communities with a high number of travelers. This results in areas with lower number of travelers ends up outside of the development towards the mobile and sustainable society. Rural areas which have longer distance to social service and lack of alternative travel options creates a dependency for the private owned car. This essay seeks to highlight problems with mobility and accessibility in rural areas. Through surveys and interviews in the rural area Arrie, we have gathered empirical material and analyzed it for the purpose of linking it to theories and concepts. We have come to the conclusion that even if economic investments is made on nodes in the public-transport and paths for walking and biking in rural areas, the car is still inevitable. Which is also one of the motivators for Region Skåne and Skånetrafiken for combined transport for sustainable travel.
