Jelínková, Z. Contemporary trends of supplier-customer relations in engineering. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The diploma thesis deals with the identifications specifics of the customer-supplier relations in engineering. In the first part of the thesis, the characteristics of the engineering industry in the Czech Republic are describe on the basis of secondary data. For comprehensive analysis of the issue, the collection of primary data is carried out through questionnaire surveys among Czech engineering companies and detailed interviews with representatives of the industry. Based on the questionnaire, the next part of the thesis describes the current trends and identifies the risks encountered on the domestic and foreign markets. At the end of the thesis is a proposal of measures for mitigation and elimination of the identified key risks and a case study for demonstration of elements and methods of Industry 4.0 in practice.

The chosen online marketing trends defined in the theoretical part are subsequently applied on a newly created website. All the steps taken throughout the process of creating the website together with the application of the latest trends are described in the practical part. The website is created gradually in the course of writing this thesis and only free online marketing tools are applied on this website. The effectiveness of the chosen online marketing trends is monitored and consequently analysed. The recommendations resulting from the analysis are provided at the end of the practical part. This thesis might serve as a guide for those who wish to create a website with the latest online marketing trends.

This thesis deals with systematic revision, evolutionary trends, palaeoecology and migration patterns of crustaceans (Cirripedia and Decapoda) from the Upper Cretaceous of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Thesis is presented as a compilation of 9 papers that were published in scientific peer-reviewed journals and includes not only old museum material, but also numerous crustacean specimens which have been recovered in the last decade. Besides, short remarks on fossil crustaceans currently under study or in the process of being published (Paraclythia, Oncopareia, Acrothoracica) are also included in this thesis. In view of the fact that the fossil crustaceans from the BCB were most recently recorded in the turn of the 19th and the 20th centuries (and partially revised in the first half of the 20th century) and since the systematics and taxonomy have changed significantly, all papers presented here focus primarily on systematic revision and modern description. The essential part of the thesis thus deals with taphonomy and its bearing on the identification of fossil material. TITLE: Multimedia applications in French language teaching SUMMARY: This thesis describes the possibilities of using tablets as educational devices within learning French as a foreign language. The work has a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part the role of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process is defined. Tablet is characterized and classified in the system of didactic tools. Studies that have dealt with the teaching and learning via tablets are presented and programmes that enable equipping schools with these devices are mentioned. The way of teaching is transforming due to the upcoming educational technology and also the teacher's role in the process of education is changing. The practical part provides a critical review of the applications available in the App Store, which can be used for the development of different language skills in French class and beyond. Furthermore the thesis offers methodological instructions as a teacher's support. Through these materials, lessons containing work with authentic French applications could be introduced in class. Restaurants are a common form of an entrepreneurial activity, which gives work to thousands of people and which is a choice of many beginning entrepreneurs every year. However, very little attention is paid to this field of business. This work is a reaction to this situation and provides guidelines for compilation of a business plan and describes its specifics in catering. The first part deals with theoretical basis for entrepreneurship in this field, especially running the restaurant and hospitality trends. It is followed by description of general steps of business plan preparation. The second part focuses on practical aspects and provides a reader with a sample business plan of a restaurant with its typical structure and content. It contains description of the business, analyses of the situation in the market; it offers a marketing strategy in a marketing plan and a schedule of activities in an operational plan. It also outline human resource plan and risk analysis. Finally, a financial plan put all of the suggested together and evaluates the entrepreneurial idea from a point of view of money. The thesis discusses broad variety of aspects of foundations of a restaurant and provides the starting entrepreneurs with plenty of recommendations and guidelines how to succeed.

In my thesis I focus on the in-store marketing from the perspective of the supplier. In the methodological section, I will describe a brief history of this form of advertising, how it developed and where it is going. Because we are in the B2B segment I will subscribe the marketing mix and compare it with the B2C segment. I will introduce the technological tools that are used in this field of business, procedures for the preparation of funds, cooperation with clients, production processes. I will observe the new trends in the present and introduce what to expect in the future. The practical part will present the company Willson & Brown, which has been for many years active in the in - store marketing business designer, manufacturer and supplier of POS materials. I will describe the company's products, technologies that are used in the production. Using the SWOT analysis, I will find out what the strengths and weaknesses of the firm are and what are the opportunities and threats that can challenge the company. I will usea research that was conducted among clients at European level and I will evaluate it. Using the SWOT analysis and the results from the research I will recommend a solution that can help the company grown and possibly lead the European POS market.

Vyvrací mnoho pesimistických scénářů o budoucím vývoji ekonomické struktury obyvatel a upozorňuje na hlavní nedostatky při dlouhodobých (50ti a víceletých) predikcích budoucího demografického i ekonomického vývoje. Na základě analýzy a predikce průběžného důchodového systému je explicitně ukázáno, že jej lze konformně ?reformovat? a zachovat jej jako základní pilíř českého důchodového systému.

This work occupies with the question of mutual trade cooperation between Czech and Chinese entities. It is concentrated especially on current trends and perspectives in this area. The first chapter deals with the development of the Czech and Chinese economy and policy. It focuses on the area of culture specifics of both countries and also on their influence on business negotiation between enterprise entities. There is also a part of international trade development between Czech Republic and China and the specification of significant industrial, trade and finance centers in China. The second part of this work is oriented on current Czech-Chinese trade cooperation with the future prospect on perspective trade areas. There are also outlined enterprise opportunities and perspective branches for the mutual trade between both countries. In terms of this chapter there are also stated some possibilities and the most common forms of the entrance of the entities to the particular market in terms of these two countries. The last part is focused on Czech-Chinese trade cooperation in the practical point of view. One part of this last chapter is also the research which is oriented on the Czech entities functioning on the Chinese market, on the Chinese entities enterprising in the Czech Republic and agencies and institutions providing foreign market entrance information for the Czech entities. Expert speeches and questionnaire focused on the general public are also included.
