Změny funkcí a využití ploch v modelových územích Česka / Changes of functions and land use in the model areas of Czechia

This diploma thesis deals with the development of land use from 1845 to 2015 in three different model areas of different functions. It examines which driving forces effects on the functions of the localities and which had a major influence on the change of the landscapes of the model areas, and at which time the greatest change in the structure of the land fund occurred. The research localities were selected to verify whether were the same or different driving forces of changing the landscape, and whether their development differed from the national trend of gradual reduction of arable land. In the model area of Chvaleč, this issue was examined up to the detail of individual parcels. Basic social driving forces include the agricultural revolution, the scientific and technological revolution, the expulsion of Germans after the Second World War, the socialization associated with the collectivisation of agriculture and the return to the market economy in the 1990s. The work uses a wide range of statistical sources, in particular the LUCC Czechia database which contains data of land use of the Czechia at the level of cadastral territories, which form a background of research in the mentioned localities. The aim of this thesis is to analyse marketing communication of pilsen company Chladírenský servis Jedlička and to find out which trends of company's marketing communication can be used or are used. The first part of thesis is literary research. This part discusses concepts such as marketing, communication, marketing communication and new trends in marketing communications. As marketing trends are definited online marketing, viral marketing, mobile marketing, event marketing and guerilla marketing. The second part of thesis is a practical part. In this part instruments of Chladírenský servis Jedlička's marketing communication are discussed. This part deal with history of marketing communication of chosen company, when company mistakenly considered advertising in the sense of a one-way flow of information as its marketing communication. At present, however, the company uses the concept of marketing communication in the right sense, two- or more-way flow of information. For marketing communication the company uses online marketing, banner advertising on YouTube, Facebook,and watchs their feedback. Futhermore the company plans an event marketing for year 2018. The company also uses QR codes and sponsorships. Several improvements are recommended to the company. The first suggestion is to improve a Facebook communication engaging more employees in marketing communication and responding to comments on posts. The second suggestion is to focus on foreign customers and create websites in foreign languages. The third suggestion is to support event marketing of the company events this for existing and potential customers. The fourth suggestion is to make another shocking events. The fifth suggestion is to start watching a feedback from QR codes. The last suggestion is to create a notebook whither employees write questions from customers which management would deal with twice a month.

The aim of this diploma thesis called Three significant trends in young adult literature is to analyse this literary category in the Czech Republic; to describe the publishing houses focusing on this type of literature and to determine, if there are any trends - and if so to describe them. The first chapter states different definitions of so called YA literature and its understanding abroad and in the Czech Republic among the publishers. In the next chapter I characterise the main trends in YA literature that already exist and also those that could emerge, according to literary agents and publishers. In the next part of this thesis I describe three chosen genres: urban fantasy, fairy tale retellings and dystopian novels and I analyse four series determined as typical for respective genres: The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins and Divergent by Veronica Roth. Each analysis is followed by the description of media response to the chosen series. The thesis also includes the interviews with editors from chosen publishing houses focusing on YA literature: Tereza Pecáková from CooBoo, Jakub Šedivý from Fragment, Lucie Kučová from Egmont and Eva Sedláčková and Jiří Štěpán from Host. LONG-TERM CHANGES IN CLOUDINESS AND SUNSHINE DURATION IN EUROPE Abstract The aim of this paper is to study long-term changes of two climatological parameters known as sunshine duration (SD) and cloudiness (CC) using several stations data located in Europe in the period 1965 - 2016. This paper is devided into two main parts. First part is paying attention to the literary research, which firstly introduce the chosen climatical variables (SD and CC) and then introduce the issue of the already known long term changes of this variables. Second part of this work is based on practical research. This paper uses a statistical linear regression to find out the seasonal and annual trends in sunshine duration and cloudiness. The thesis deals with trends of drug consumption for the ATC group C10A (HMG-CoA reductase) in the Czech Republic in the years 2005 - 2015. The goal of this work is to analyse the consumption of statins (cholesterol lowering drugs), as well as to analyse the consumption trends (expressed in terms of prescribed daily doses) and subsequently explain the causes of the detected trends. The main method used in this work is the analysis and interpretation of data provided by the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL). Individual consumption data sets are compared to each other and global trends are inferred based on the obtained results. In the practical part I analyse the consumption for the individual ATC groups according to their increasing lipid-lowering efficacy, according to the pharmaceutical companies involved and according to the experts' recommendations (within the framework of cardiovascular disease treatment). The conclusion of my work shows that the overall drug consumption for the the studied ATC group (given by the DDD/package total) was steadily increasing during the studied period while the consumption expressed in financial units was decreasing (ie. the financial burden on the health system was reduced). The total number of sold packages shows a slight decrease due to the sale of bigger packages with more powerful statins during the studied period.
