The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of the roofing of an ice hockey stadium situated in Žďár nad Sázavou. Plan view dimensions are 55 m x 77 m. The structural height of the roof varies from 10 to 17 m. The roof itself consists of pipe truss girders with a span of 55 m, which are supported by columns on each side. The girders are suspended by a load-carrying arch with a span of 96 m and a camber of 29 m through a system of pre-stressed cables. To determine the internal forces, structural analysis software Scia Engineer was used. Individual elements were then manually designed.

The purpose of this dissertation is to take into consideration the design and the steel structure assessment of the hangar for small propeller aircraft type Cessna. The platform dimensions are 40,0 by 60,0 metres. Headroom is around 10,0 metres. The object’s location is in Brno. The main structural material is steel S355J2. There are two initial geometric alternatives, in other words structural modifications of desired solution. These are spatial truss arc tie beam and garland tie beam. The two alternatives were tentatively designed according to their dimensions and the main supporting elements of both alternatives were also assessed and considered. The alternatives were finally evaluated and one option was selected for detailed processing. In turn of the chosen option, there had been drawing of detailed analysis of the main load bearing parts of the construction with joints and some other details included. Furthermore there is drawing documentation and supervisor’s technical report attached. The valid standards CSN EN were used in processing of this dissertation.

The theme of master’s thesis is the newly built sports center in Rosice. This work aids to develop design documents for building construction. The building is partial basement, four-storey. The building is designed of systém Heluz with cast-in-place reinforced concrete floors. The roof construction is single-flat, over part of the building is composed of timber truss Gang-nail. In the building there is the bar with bowling alley, squash, small multipurpose sports hall, fitness room, table tennis and spinning. In the basement are designed three saunas. Tennis courts with playground are outside next to the building.

The goal of the submitted thesis is a design and assessment of a steel load-bearing structure of a multipurpose sports hall situated in Prostějov. The floor plan measurements of the object are 38x54 m with the maximum ceiling height of 9,5 m. Final design variant was chosen on the basis of two preliminary drafts, both processed according to standard ČSN EN. The structure is designed with respect to ultimate and serviceability limit states. The construction consists of 10 cross-links spaced by 6,0 m. The spatial rigidity of the structure’s main load-bearing system is provided by spatial elliptic trussed girders, longitudinal and sway bracings. Roof cladding is carried by purlins placed on trusses. Steel columns are designed as a part of gable walls. The project was carried out in Scia Engineer 2014 software. Some particular elements were subsequently assessed by means of manual calculation. The thesis also includes assessment of joints, construction details and drawing documentation.

Building is designed from structural masonry system Porotherm with contact thermal insulation system. Roofing is solved with use of two different slopes of timber girder.

The main frame is created by column on one side and by the spatial truss arc beam.This main frame was chosen duet the evaluation of preliminary design of two variants. The static calculation of main load-bearing elements including joints and specific details was made for the selected option. The technical report and drawings specified by the supervisor. For design of the structure were used valid standards ČSN EN.

Designed building has 36 m long and 24 m wide rectangular footprint. Roof is shaped into a hyperbolic paraboloid surface. Main load bearing structure is consisting of six main cross sections formed by truss columns, and generally curved roof truss beams, accompanied by storey supporting frames with composite slabs. Overall shape of the roof is defined by warped surface. Cladding of the building is consisting of aluminium facade system.

Master´s thesis describes the design and check of the construction of botanical pavillion in Brno. The structure has an elliptical ground plan with dimensions 34 x 20 m, height of 9 m. The supporting structure consists of 16 support curved ribs which are braced at the top of the elliptical steel ring. Between the ribs are inserted purlins which support the perimeter cladding. The supporting structure is designed as an alternative system as girders of glued laminated timber and as system of steel truss girders.

This diploma thesis contains a study of current composite structure of footbridge and in part II design and assessment of steel structure of footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists placed on current footbridge location. Current footbridge is located on "nábřeží Dukelských hrdinů" in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. In part I, assessment of the current composite structure of footbridge is done, using ČSN and ČSN EN standards for adjusted static behavior of the structure. Comparison of both assessments is made and also with an original assessment from 1988. In part II, design and assessment of steel structure of footbridge placed on currents footbridge location described in part I is done.The structure was designed as two vierendeels trusses connected with cross beams, supporting concrete bridge deck. 9 variants were examined, differing with truss height and the number of verticals. Detailed design and assessment for parts of the structure is done for the chosen variant.

Thesis includes working-out of static calculation, elaboration drawings of shape, reinforcement of solved elements and evolvement of assembly drawings. The rest of the project parts are not analyzed.
