Cette recherche a pour but d’interroger la femme et ses multiples voix dans l’oeuvre d’Annie Ernaux, écrivain célèbre pour avoir nourri ses romans de sa propre vie. Grande figue de l’autobiographie, Annie Ernaux n’a de cesse de mettre en mots, dans un style singulier, son histoire, ses racines, le contexte socioculturel dans lequel elle a grandit, et surtout, d’interroger la figure féminine. Ses oeuvres sont à la fois récits littéraires et documents sociologiques d’une vie ancrée dans son siècle et ses repères, comme pour rappeler le rôle essentiel de la femme dans la famille ainsi que dans la Cité.
