Darbo sutarties sudarymo, vykdymo ir pasibaigimo teisiniai aspektai Lietuvoje ir Prancūzijoje / Legal aspects of labour contract creation, execution and termination in Lithuania and France

Gaušytė, Ingrida 09 January 2007 (has links)
[to full text]

Chemoenzymatic Synthesis Of Enantiomerically Enriched 2-oxobicyclo[m.1.0]alkan-3-yl Acetate Derivatives

Atli, Selin 01 June 2005 (has links) (PDF)
&amp / #945 / ,&amp / #946 / -Unsaturated cyclic ketones were selectively oxidized on &amp / #945 / &#039 / - positions using Mn(OAc)3 and Pb(OAc)4, respectively. The resultant racemic &amp / #945 / &#039 / -acetoxylated substrates were resolved into corresponding enantiomerically enriched &amp / #945 / &#039 / -hydroxylated and &amp / #945 / &#039 / -acetoxylated compounds via PLE hydrolysis. &amp / #945 / &#039 / -Hydroxylated compounds are racemized quickly, so they were acetylated with acetyl chloride and pyridine in situ to give the corresponding &amp / #945 / &#039 / -acetoxylated compounds. Resultant &amp / #945 / &#039 / -acetoxy &amp / #945 / ,&amp / #946 / -unsaturated cyclic ketones reacted with excess amount of diazomethane under the catalsts of Pd(OAc)2 to give the resulting bicyclic diastereomeric products. At the end of the experiment, Enantiomeically enriched 2-oxobicyclo[3.1.0]hexan-3-yl acetate and 2-oxobicyclo[4.1.0]heptan-3-yl acetate were chemoenzymatically synthesized.

Russian Involvement In The Abkhaz-georgian Conflict

Kizilbuga, Esra 01 May 2006 (has links) (PDF)
The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the motives, means and implications of the Russian involvement in the Abkhaz-Georgian conflict. It seeks to find answers to the following questions: what are the dynamics of the Russian policy towards Abkhazia / how the contradictions in Russian domestic policy are reflected in the Russian policy towards Abkhazia / what are the implications of the Russian involvement in the conflict and the peace process. This dissertation argues that the Russian involvement in the Abkhaz-Georgian conflict has not contributed to the settlement of the conflict and peace in the region but rather to the realization of Russia&rsquo / s own interests by deepening the crisis in the region. Thus, Russia has conducted neither a pro-Abkhaz nor pro-Georgian policy in this conflict. The second chapter of this thesis examines the historical background of the conflict. The emergence, evolution and nature of the conflict are analyzed in the second chapter. The third chapter focuses on the reasons of the Russian involvement during the war between the Abkhaz and the Georgian forces. The Russian policy towards the Abkhaz conflict before and after the Rose Revolution is analyzed in the fourth and fifth chapters.

Activitat neuronal oscil·latòria subjacent a les respostes cerebrals relacionades a estímuls auditius: N1, supressió d'N1 i MMN

Fuentemilla Garriga, Lluís 27 April 2007 (has links)

Protecting Civilians or Preserving Interests? Explaining the UN Security Council's Non-intervention in Darfur, Sudan, 2003-06.

D.Mickler@murdoch.edu.au, David Mickler January 2009 (has links)
The UN Security Council is the preeminent multilateral decision-making body and has the legal authority to initiate military interventions if it first determines a threat to international peace and security, including from civil wars or widespread state repression. While traditional norms of non-intervention and the politics of the Cold War curtailed the body’s ability to fulfil this role, evolving understandings and practices of sovereignty and security in the post-Cold War era have led to the apparent emergence of a new norm permitting ‘humanitarian intervention’ and an in principle acceptance that the body has a ‘responsibility to protect’ vulnerable civilians residing inside the borders of their own state, including through military means. In this context, the thesis argues that the situation in Darfur, western Sudan, has represented a quintessential case for the Council to fulfil its ‘responsibility to protect’. According to a number of authoritative investigations, since 2003 the Sudanese government and government-allied Arab militias have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity on a widespread and systematic basis against Darfur’s non-Arab population. As a result, over 200,000 people died either directly from violence or indirectly from conflict-induced disease and malnutrition, while a further two million fled from their homes and villages in fear. A number of nonmilitary measures were attempted by the Council but failed to create adequate security on the ground. As such, there was a compelling legal-institutional, normative and moral case for the Council to coercively deploy a military intervention in Sudan to protect vulnerable civilians in Darfur. However, during the 2003-06 period of study, no such intervention was deployed. The thesis argues that intervention by the Council was precluded by the national interests of its permanent members, including a lucrative economic relationship between China and Sudan, and because of valuable Sudanese intelligence cooperation in Western counter-terrorism operations in the region. The thesis concludes that the Council’s members chose to preserve these national interests at the expense of protecting civilians in Darfur.
