The aim with this research is to present children with autism an alternative method through animal assisted therapy to communicate and socialize. Since children with autism cannot be guided to mastery of full maturity by means of the ordinary education system, separate provision of highly specialized fomative and formal education is essential. Autism prevents a child from reaching out to the world and other people. Autism implies a lack of communication with others and entails a disturbed dialogue with the world. This is revealed by the strange and odd behaviour of the child with autism. The aim of this research is to use animal assited therapy to bridge the gap between numerous problems experienced by the child with autism ascribed to his inadequate affective life, inablitity to form relationships with others, his language, speech and communication problems and poor sensory integration. / Social Work / M. This study investigated the use of ORM as a conceptual modelling technique by using the UML domain model class diagram as benchmark. The rationale was that if the ORM-class diagram compared favourably with the benchmark, then ORM could be proposed as an alternate conceptual modelling technique. Proponents of ORM suggest that it has significant advantages over other techniques for conceptual modelling. The benchmark UML class diagram was developed according to the Unified Process through use-cases and collaboration diagrams. The ORM-class diagram was derived using the Conceptual Schema Design Process and ORM-UML Mapping Process. The evaluation of the two class diagrams was conducted by means of a questionnaire, based on a set of principles for conceptual models. The study concluded that ORM could not be proposed as a conceptual modelling technique up to the UML domain class diagram level without considering additional techniques for capturing the dynamics of the system. / Computer Science / M.Sc. The main goal of this diploma thesis is the proposal to use agile development procedures of Scrum framework with UML modeling language applicable for creating websites of small scale. The emphasis is especially put on creating a practically usable type model of the websites. The theoretical part of the thesis has two main chapters. In the "Agile methodology" chapter are listed principles of agile approach to creating software. The next part of this chapter is focus on agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, ASD, FDD, DSDM, LD and Crystal). In the "UML" chapter is introduced modeling language UML and its principles. The next part of this chapter is focus on UML diagrams used in practical part of this thesis (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram and deployment diagram). The practical part of this thesis focuses on the design type model for creating websites of small scale. The type model is based both on the theoretical part of this work and practical experience of the author. In the first part is introduced scheme of model, where is shown the mutual relationship of individual phases. In the next part of this chapter are discussed the individual phases where is used the principle of agile development framework Scrum and examples of use of the UML diagrams.

This diploma thesis covers the design and implementation of changes and extension modules of a chosen information system, used in JUDr. Ján Bartánus's attorney office in Ružomberok. The system, implemented as a web application based on the Symfony framework, is dedicated to the simplyfing, monitoring and organization of the work processes in a generic attorney office located in the Slovak Republic. For the purposes of a correct design, the thesis contains an analysis of the current state of the given attorney office, the environment in which it operates, its information system and existing solutions. Tools that were used to conduct the analysis were the SLEPT method, Porter's five forces, model 7S and SWOT matrix. Based on the results of the analyses, a change of the system has been designed, which entails an upgrade of the system, its user interface, integration of the register of companies of Slovak Republic and an extension module intended for the financial valuation of work performed by an attorney. The application has been developed utilizing the PHP and JavaScript programming language. The valuation module integrates the Google Maps API. The stability and speed of the system were tested by functional tests and profiling of the duration of HTTP requests. The main contribution of this thesis is the design and implementation of an extension of the information system, which can be used in any arbitrary attorney office situated in the Slovak Republic, and its practical application in the chosen company. This thesis builds on a previous thesis dedicated to the design and implementation of the information system, which is being extended in this diploma thesis.

Presented thesis deals with design and implementation of an information system for a local translation agency. The main purpose of the information system is to provide functions for effective user/project management. Key part of system is represented by a multi-level processing of terminology queries from external translators. Further features include distribution of documents to users, resource planning, and work evaluation. In order to provide instant 24/7 access, the system has been implemented as a WWW application using PHP script language, MySQL database, and AJAX technology.

Diploma thesis deals with the contemporary object-relational mapping (ORM) technologies for Java. It briefly describes also competing technologies for persisting objects in files, object and object-relational databases. However main part of the thesis is the persistence of objects in relational databases using ORM frameworks. The work begins with studying general methods and issues, that these frameworks have to solve. Next, it chooses and deeply describes some ORM frameworks. They are later demonstrated on the demo application. In the following part there is a description of the problems I have been facing during the implementation of the persistence using these frameworks. Finally, there is an evaluation and a comparison of these frameworks.

Enterprise Wikis werden nach und nach zum alltäglichen Bestandteil der Toollandschaft moderner Wissensarbeiter. Das Aufkommen der flexibel einsetzbaren Intranet-Plattformen geht einher mit der Forderung nach organisationalen Veränderungen wie flache Hierarchien, autonome Projetteams sowie einer dezentralen Selbststeuerung. Neben der reinen Technologiesicht werden damit auch Aspekte der Organisationsstruktur und -kultur unter dem Schlagwort „Enterprise 2.0“ adressiert. Der vorliegende Beitrag widmet sich der Erforschung der Einsatzszenarien und Einführungsbedingungen von Enterprise Wikis hinsichtlich unterschiedlicher organisationaler Strukturtypen. Hierfür wurden auf Basis eines Grounded Theory-Ansatzes Enterprise Wikis von 15 Organisationen mittels semi-strukturierter Interviews untersucht. Entlang der von Henry Mintzberg entwickelten Klassifikation organisationaler Strukturtypen (Konfigurationen) werden die Erkenntnisse der durchgeführten Unter-suchung beschrieben. Weiterhin wird auch die Rolle von Enterprise Wikis für interorganisationale Beziehungen und Netzwerke diskutiert. Es konnten abhängig vom organisationalen Strukturtyp unterschiedliche Einsatzszenarien für Enterprise Wikis gefunden werden. Die Mehrheit der Einsatzszenarien liegt dabei in der Unterstützung planerischer und konzeptioneller Tätigkeiten. Vor allen Dingen die Entwicklung von innovativen Lösungen sowie die Zusammenarbeit von Teams können effektiv durch Enterprise Wikis begleitet werden. Nicht in jedem organisationalen Strukturtyp können sich die Potentiale von Enterprise Wikis voll entfalten. Es wurde festgestellt, dass die Einführungsbedingungen für Enterprise Wikis sich ebenfalls je nach vorliegendem organisationalen Strukturtyp unterscheidet. This master thesis dives a brief introduction to the languages for creating web information systems and languages for creating web pages. It describes existing modular systems for publication (also known as content management systems, CSM), their advantages  and disavantages. Requirements for the Content Management System are specified and the  general scheme (ERD) for such a system is proposed. Presented system is realised in PHP and database system MySQL. Implemented user-friendly aplication running on the server communicates developed system that provides content management functions.

Denna rapport beskriver arbetsgången för att utreda och ta fram ett lösningsförslag för hur en meddelandemotor skulle kunna implementeras i TeamTags delvis redan befintliga system. Små delar av implementeringen som infördes under projektet presenteras också. / This report describes the workflow to investigate and develop a solution proposal for how a messaging engine could be implemented in TeamTags partly already implemented system. Small parts of the implementation that was introduced during the project is also presented.
