Zhodnocení současného stavu, historický průzkum a návrh rekonstrukce areálu Výzkumného ústavu rostlinné výroby v Praze / Assessment of current status, historical research and design of reconstruction of selected parts of the park at Research Institute of Crop Production in Prague

Vopičková, Lucie January 2016 (has links)
The goal of the presented diploma thesis is to propose a reconstruction of a selected part of the Research Institute of Crop Production (RICP) in Prague (Czech Republic). The proposition is based on an evaluation of the current state as well as on a historical investigation of the studied area. The 5ha compound of the RICP is situated at the territory of Prague, the Capital City in the Prague 6 - Ruzyně quarter. The complex is from three sides surrounded by fields. Inside, it includes a decorative garden, which was founded in 30ies of the 20th century. At that time, the function of such garden was of a pure educational purpose - it was used as visual aids for students of the Provincial Pomological Institute that had been located there. This exact utilization lies behind the important amount of rare decorative woody plants that we still find there. The premises are currently in a good state. More than half of woody plants rank among the most valuable and very valuable ones. Nowadays, the area of the RICP is not accessible for the public so that the garden can be used only be the employees of the institute. Based on source data, a proposition of the reconstruction of the central part, which includes the main building and its surrounding decorative garden, has been created. Even if this part should be the most representative of the RICP, the related (required) atmosphere is not currently reached. This is the reason why a reconstruction has been proposed - to increase the actual level of the studied area and to restore its original function. The main idea consists in preservation of the current vegetation cover and in restoration or addition of some technical elements, which are nowadays not satisfactory. This includes mainly: path surfaces, pergola, benches, waste bins and lamps. An extra enrichment of the free grass area, situated in the central part of the garden and visible from the entrance to the building, is also dealt with. In addition, the diploma thesis provides a photographical documentation of the current state of the studied area, inventory tables and graphical supplements of the reconstruction project as well as the inventory plans of the whole area.

Historicko-demografický vývoj farnosti Bzenec / Historical demographic trends of the parish in Bzenec

Mrazík, Dalibor January 2016 (has links)
This master s thesis describes historical demographic trends in a small southern moravian town of Bzenec, which lies in a rich countryside of Lower Moravian ravine, mostly covered with vineyards. In this case, historical demographic trend means population and social evolution of this town. Main research is mostly pointed on statistics of births, marriages and deaths of Bzenec citizens, who were registered in a church registry books of births, marriages and deaths, which were run by the Bzenec parish. This thesis also researches a data of a total population evolution of people, who lived in Bzenec, as well as their professions and names and surnames of males and females. Main goal of the thesis was to make a little summery of a population trend between the years of 1850 and 2014 in the southern Moravia. Statistic of births describes the period of years 1855/1904, statistic of marriages describes years of 1883/1932 and statistic od deaths describes the era between years 1867/1916. All these data were framed with the total population evolution trends during the period of above mentioned 164 years, era of 1850/2014. Minor goal of the thesis was to make the town of Bzenec more known among people and to apprise the general public about church registry books and an (not only) archive researches, because this could increase researches and studies of history, which could (and the thesis-author wishes that) lead to the better understanding of our past. It is sad, that if we would like to understand the present times, we have to understand the past first. Practical part of the thesis, mentioned above, is supported by its theorethical part, that talks mostly about the church registry books and the town of Bzenec, but also about the rituals connected to birth, marriage and death.

Časové a prostorové změny dřevinných porostů v krajině – případová studie (bývalé Vrchlabské panství) / Temporal and spatial changes of woody vegetation at the landscape - case study (former Vrchlabi estate)

Juřičková, Beata January 2016 (has links)
This dissertation deals with a temporal and spatial changes of woody vegetation at the landscape in West Bohemia. The case study helps to recognise a historical development of the landscape and focuses on landscape elements of forest and non-forest woody vegetation. Focused area was determined by borders of former Vrchlabi manor and based on historical documents. The chosen area partly belongs to zone 1, 2 and 3 of Krkonose National Park. Forest and non-forest woody vegetation was compared from different sources- a map of Imperial imprints of the stable Cadastre from 1843, an aerial images from 1950 and an orthophoto images from 2014 - using ArcGIS software. Woody vegetation was divided into forest category and other three non-forest woody category- draws, acompanying woody vegetation and line. The results have shown that the most consistent category has always been the forest, spreading on 42,25% of the area in last 171 years. The non-forest woody vegetation was developing erratically and was covering the largest area of 335,21 ha in 1950. Data analysis have shown that each period of forest and non-forest woody vegetation has its own specific trends.

Analýza a hodnocení krajinných změn - případová studie Říčany / Analysis and evaluation of landscape changes - case study Ricany

Bělunková, Šárka January 2016 (has links)
In this study is researched historical development of the Říčany landscape. Using stable cadastre maps, aerial photographs from 1953 and current aerial photographs is researched the development of the landscape elements. Further the spatial analyzess of defelopment these landscape elements are performed. Based on scientific texts and in cooperation with the Museum of Říčany city are discussed causes of identified landscape changes. The greatest changes were observed in arable land. In this landscape element decreased the total area from 63,40 % to 38,69 %. In this place, there occurred mainly for the development of built-up areas (from 0,76 % to 10,42 %) and urban green areas (from 1,20 % to 18,17 %). On the other hand, the most constant remained the forests. This area was increased by only 1,84 % and their spatial area kept almost unchanged. The data collected in this work could be used theoretically and also practically. Theoretical use consist in understanding of the functioning of landsccape changes. Practically, the results could be used by the municipal authority as a basis for various landscape adjustments of the Říčany city.

Populační hustota srnce obecného (Capreolus capreolus) v oblasti Hartmanicka (JZ Čechy) / Population density of the roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) in Hartmanice district (SW Bohemia, Czech Republic)

Večeřová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
This diploma thesis was based on frequently discussed topic of population density in hoofed game. The monitored area is in the south-west of Bohemia, in Hartmanice. The greater part of the territory extends into the conservation area and a smaller part od the Šumava National park, with this work focusing on the population density of roe deer. To determine population densities, two methods were used, one direct method and one indirect method. For the direct method, a census method was used for the roe deer from a high seat and the indirect method, a method of counting droppings was used on a sample of regulary cleaned surfaces. Counting was carried out on transects of 200 m2 (100 x 2 m) or (50 x 4 m). The present results indicate that the population of roe deer is seeing a long downward trend. Most roe deer prefer the brushwood at lower altitudes, at an altitude of 525 to 650 m above sea level (asl), with less occuring in the positions of the altitude of 950 to 1125 m asl. The habitat least preferred by roe deer was forests aged 81 years and older.
